Review 1：We were charged an extra €10 per night for air conditioning. It didn't work very well and was too noisy so we declined. No fridge; no safe; decor very tired and shabby.

Review 8：The sound and volume of the music system in the restaurant. The noise of the kitchen exhaust, blowing out on the balkony of our room till about 22:30 hours. We used to sit and talk in the evenings on the balkony of the other room - there entertained by the sound system-and they seem to have one CD only.

Review 10：I didn't get the name of the best looking waitress in Lazise. The bar closes around midnight so when I got back to the hotel it was empty and I had to go to bed without a nightcap. (most evenings this wasn't such a bad idea anyway)
Review 11：Breakfast at the most beautiful terrace in Lazise, even when it rains the view is awesome. Friendly staff that makes you feel welcome and does everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible. Great food for not too much money. Great menu of which I got to taste too little. Review 16：Not all rooms have good views. There was a problem with their boiler, and we had no hot water on the evening before we left, or the morning we were leaving. We had to have a cold wash only, and I couldn't wash my hair.There was no offer of a reduction on our bill.

Review 18：The Hotel Esperia was sadly reminiscent of a tired UK seaside boarding house that has seen much better days. Our room was freezing (it was December but we had expected some vestige of warmth for our Euros!) and we ended up sleeping in our clothes!). The bathroom, although relatively clean, was old fashioned and shabby, the bed uncomfortable. The meals we ate in the on-site restaurant were hugely unappetising. Probably the very worst we have encountered in our many hotel stays across Europe. Disappointing.
Review 19：Location is excellent. Right on Lake Garda, (well away from the main road) and the hotel front opens straight onto a lovely promenade along the lakeside. A minute's stroll from the old town of Lazise. Alexandro, a young Romanian, who had been put "in charge" during the "low season" by the absent owners, did his very best to please. He was welcoming and smiling and in truth the only good thing about the hotel. Two Star rating? At the very lowest end of the scale we would say.....
Review 20：Being a small and friendly hotel with only seven rooms, you will need to specify a room on the front of the hotel to give you the best views over the Lake.

Review 24：There was a bad smell from the garbage can located just below the balcony of the room. Air condition did not work in the room. A disturbing noise from the ventilation system of the hotel. The room was clean but the painting and the furniture were very old and need to be repaired include the shower.
