Review 1：Food should be a little better. It is good. But we had to find out an outside restaurant for having tastier food.
Review 2：The beds are very much cozy and comfortable The staff was nice to talk to and the common room has a nice ambience. The location of Lamp is simply good if you have a car. It has a lake right in front of it. Me and my friends went for a new year party but we're surprised to see everything quiet at the place. But we tried to have our fun with a little loud music and were surprisingly allowed to for quiet a long time.

Review 4：The staff were so helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious and clean. I'm so glad we chose this place to stay. It was perfect for us and we'll definitely go back!
Review 5：About 30 minutes from Nagano station, and not very easy to access without a car (but it's on the lake - which is beautiful!). However they offer a shuttle till 18:00, so keep that in mind and coordinate in advance.

Review 10：We had a great time at Guesthouse Lamp. It was exactly what we needed for 2 days to recover from all the sightseeing in the city. We were picked up and dropped off at the train station, since we didn't have a car. We loved the food at the cafe, we had lunch and dinner there and tried all their dessert and craft beer. We were lakeside and spent the day kayaking lake nojiri
Review 11：Great location very close to lake Nojiri. Staff very helpful and relaxed, very generous with canoe rental and lifts to and from railway station. Budget accommodation in mixed dorm room. Curtains around bed help privacy. Plenty to do in the area, cycling, canoeing, hiking. Only draw back is no kitchen for guests to use, but we ate our food outside on the terrace. Thanks Lamp!
Review 12：Beautiful place surrounded of nature and with great views to the Nojiri Lake. Mountain and river sports, really I recommend this place to people who wants some of action and relax in your trip.
Review 13：Lodging Japanese style on tatami with futons implies less sleeping comfort than at home, but we did not want to trade this unique experience.

Review 15：Firstly, Lake Nojiri is ridiculously beautiful, and staying in this lakefront guesthouse was a real treat. Every morning one of the staff members collects edible plants from the mountains! The food was fantastic, they have a great selection of craft beer, and the staff was so friendly and amazing. Clean rooms, a Sento style bath, and many other amenities make this place totally out of this world amazing.
Review 16：It was about 30 mins drive from Nagano and really in the middle of nowhere so you there's nothing to do outside of the hostel in the evenings.
