Review 1：This is essentially a hostel, not a hotel. You make up and strip the beds yourself. No towels--must rent them for 3 euros/pair. Room has essentials, but is minimal. WiFi very slow.

Review 2：Comfortable single beds. Excellent buffet breakfast included in room price--makes this an OK value. No coffee in room but excellent coffee available from dining room for free.

Review 3：the shower button grants 6 seconds of showering, while taking a shower the button needs to be continuously pressed.

Review 5：I asked (and paid 50€) for a Double Room instead I had a room with 2 single beds and a bunk bed. It is fair to say that they explain that in the confirmation mail in tiny letters. Nevertheless it was disappointing. We arrive around 8 pm and they did not have food service at the restaurant so we asked if there is a restaurant nearby not so expensive but the receptionist told us that at that time everything should be closed and that the only restaurant was "Die Lachende Küh" (which was ok) but I had to say expensive. Because of we were starving we ate at the recommended restaurant and later walk around the city centre and there were some other restaurants open.

Review 6：Breakfast was OK. It is near to city centre. Everything is just OK.

Review 7：The light in the room. When you turn it on, a big round lamp at the ceiling is illuminated, but the rest of the room is not very bright. The Shower. Every twenty or so seconds the water stops and one has to push the water tap again.

Review 8：The staff is friendly and helpful. The Hotel (or rather youth hostel) is very clean. It has a relaxed atmosphere.

Review 9：Given how good the quality of everything in the hostel is, disappointing that the mattresses were terrible and that the shower is on a 20 second timer.

Review 10：Proximity to Sneek and being right on the canal makes the property very appealin, especially if sailing is on the agenda.

Review 11：You have to put on the bed sheets by your own. The shelf in the showerwas incredibly small. The price for one night was 59 eur on booking.com,but we were asked for 61 eur on the hotel reception.

Review 44：We were more than 150 people at the hotel going to a tournament that starts at 08.00. It was very stressful that the breakfast did not open until 07.30. Also, why did we have so many mosquitoes in the rooms?

Review 46：If you don't like sharing with boisterous school groups then I wouldn't recommend this accommodation. It didn't worry us though. On several mornings the dining room (the whole place really) was buzzing with school kids. Other mornings there were just other holiday makers. We found the bikes we hired not really suitable for our purpose. We were travelling 50 plus kilometres a day and would have done more if we could. The bikes were very heavy and slow - ideal for around town but not so much for touring. We probably should have researched this a bit more. We managed though - but after previously cycling along the Danube for 7 pleasant days on touring bikes we really noticed the difference.

Review 47：We had a lovely surprise when we booked in at the hostel as instead of a bunk room which we expected we were given the "bridal suite" which had a double bed and television and lovely views over the canal. It was a great start to a lovely 4 days of bike riding around the area. . The supplied breakfast was fine and you could eat as much as you wanted. We were able to hire bikes onsite which was very convenient as we could just take them from the storage shed as we needed them.

Review 49：The restaurant on the shore of a big and wide canal was beautiful. Rooms were very neat and big. Games were available for leisurly activities. Breakfast was fair enough. The facilities were very nice for the cheapest amount we paid.
