Review 1：Nothing major.

Review 2：- the staff were very helpful and you are allocated a member of staff to look after you throughout your stay. - the food was good (we ate Sri Lankan food), plentiful and reasonably priced. There are no local eating options so this is pretty important - they had a lovely pool and in the evening it was fun to watch the birds. It is a peaceful green setting. - the layout of our room was excellent, although the bathroom door took an age to close.

Review 5：The rooms were spotless and the view over a tree lined courtyard to the pool was very pleasant. The pool itself is very well maintained and big enough for swimming laps. It is out of the centre but no problem arranging tuk tuks - the centre has nothing much to offer anyway. Contrary to other reviews I've read there was no problem eating here at all. It was good food, huge portions and reasonably priced. The management of this hotel is excellent. Efficient and able to pay effortlessly with credit card. We were very well attended to by Mushi who was genuinely keen to guarantee we had the best possible stay in Anuradhapura. Faultless.

Review 9：Staff very friendly, they make you feel comfortable as you at home. The luxury during our stay was that we were almost the only guest. The food is great i can only greatly recomand the rice cury (chicken, beef, porc, fish.....) this will come with a variety of delicious side bowls. Only three words go for it.

Review 12：Big, clean room and a very pleasant atmosphere. Had breakfast and dinner here every day and loved it. Very friendly staff; due to miscommuncation our bike reservation was cancelled... but in the end they solved it nicely.

Review 13：Distance to main sights is not on walking distance. No bicycle rental (which is ideal to visit the main sights). Try to arrange guide and tuktuk yourself, it will save you money.

The pool is open till 7.30PM so you can go for a swim after dark, which I love. It is a little out of the way from anuradhapura, but perfectly doable by bicycle which we rented for 400 rupees for the day. The food was tasty and in big portions.

Review 23：We booked this place last minute, and were amazed with the value when we showed up. The room was absolutely beautiful (we got upgraded because it was our honeymoon), the pool was fantastic, and the service was top notch. If you are looking for a luxury stay at a decent price, this is the place to stay. On top of all of that, the manager was very accommodating and when we had to arrange last-minute transportation to the next town, he phoned around and got us a very good price on a Tuk Tuk because the cost of a regular taxi was too high. Thank you for the great stay!

Review 25：The room hasn't any chairs where to sit and we have problems with bedbugs that in Anuradhapura comes out when the day before has rained. The staff have done all to solve the problem but we cannot stay outside of the room and we have to eat our meal in the room seated on the floor due to the lack of chairs.

The layout is very pleasant with a beautiful swimming pool and a large garden overlooked by the open dining room. Our suite was perfect and allowed us to have a great night's sleep to recover from our long-haul flights. It was very quiet when I was there (traveling with my mother) which was very pleasant. Most importantly the staff were absolutely lovely and keen to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely recommend!

Review 52：The rooms weren't as clean as I would have expected, but I also understood that that might have been because the general manager was out of town. The hotel is a bit far out of town so when you have your own car, this is a really nice option, but when using public transport it might be easier to stay in the town itself.

Review 53：The swimming pool, night-time views, and hats off to the staff! They upgraded me to a really nice room, and when I got sick, they took really good care of me - they let me stay an extra night, made me see a doctor, made me special meals, and went to get my medication.

Review 54：Disappointing visit to what looked like a very nice place to stay with good reviews. Our first mistake was to book 2 "standard" rooms, one for my husband and I and another for my parents, as the picture shown on the website looked quite nice and it read "beautiful views to the garden". Instead we got rooms which were placed in what looked like the staff quarters (totally different building than the rest of the rooms in the hotel) with a window overlooking to a dark area next to the kitchen and staff meeting area (the entrance of the room was there). We could hear staff talking, working and one morning even woke up to loud bangs at 7am. The room also had a HUGE health and safety hazard as the door leading to the toilet was really low and not even signaled as dangerous. The outcome is that my husband hit his head on the top frame of the door producing injury and bleeding. It could have been a LOT worst, so please beware. We complained in reception and they said that this is not the first complain they receive regarding to these rooms and they seem to be completely aware of this hazard.. so then we wonder.. Why is management not doing anything about this? The room inside was so dark and we felt that the info provided of the standard rooms was so misleading according to photos and description on the website. If we had known we would have picked a deluxe, it would have made our stay less depressing. By the time we arrived we wanted to change but they did not have "deluxe" rooms available. It's a shame because the hotel is quite nice and this kind of rooms are only going to result in very bad reviews from guests. Also, western food at the restaurant is VERY poor for a 3* hotel and quite expensive for Sri Lankan standards. Jetwing hotels are 4 and 5* and offer much better quality at similar prices if you compare it.

Review 56：After a long drive from Negombo we were greeted by this gorgeous resort. With manicured gardens, an awesome pool and well-stocked bar, this was a great oasis away from the heat of Anuradhapura. The food was top notch and consistently at the highest level. Staff were great and in particular Umesh really looked after us at all times. The resort organised us tours and a great driver who took us around the cultural triangle. We really enjoyed staying here!

Review 64：My husband and I enjoyed staying in this hotel so much that we actually decided to come back here for a couple of days just to relax by the pool while travelling around Sri Lanka. It's a great hotel with clean modern rooms all of which have spacious balconies overlooking the pool and a landscape garden. The restaurant offers a selection of food and drinks, the portions are ample and the food is delicious. The staff are frindly and attentive without being pushy.

Review 65：Location - far from town and sights, isolated. TV signal very intermittent. Wifi didn't work in any areas. Breakfast was poor. Bathroom arrangement weird - 2 separate rooms for toilet and shower. Hotel loud and echoey- our room was above reception. Biggest issue was that a member of staff was very pushy, overbearing and patronising when trying to persuade us to use the hotels transport which was overpriced. On checkout, the card machine did not work. This meant that we had to get transport (they expected us to pay for this) into town and back to get cash out! Such bad service, surely you need to be able to process payments at a hotel!! unprofessional customer service.

The hotel is out of town in the countryside, but for us this was a plus because it was so quiet and it was no problem to get to the ruins by bikes provided by the hotel for 400 rupees per day.

Review 114：Hotel initially refuses to accept payment by credit card. It does nothave credit card payment facility on site. After painfully frustratinglyand protracted negotiations, payment was made at sister hotel about 10km away. Wasted over an hour of our holiday time. Room smell of sewerdue to poor and ineffective plumbing. Food was passable and helpingsmeagre. Basically hotel is poorly run and management not at all customerorientated. Would not recommend it to anyone.
