Review 1：I didn't like leaving the Castle.
Review 2：We liked everything and everybody in this place. We stayed for 2 nights and wished we had more time to stay in this peaceful area. No traffic, no noise, no life hassle. Just the beautiful green gardens of the Castle and the Tuscany mountains surrounding it. You can spend one full day just sitting and admiring this Castle and its scenery. It is a once in a life experience. The staff are extremely friendly, very helpful and always smiling. Diner was a special treat, do not miss it.
Review 3：No air-conditioning in the rooms meant we spent a few sticky summer nights trying to sleep, even though the area the castle is located is already a few degrees cooler than florence. We expected the castle to be located a while away from Florence so we rented a car but if you are not prepared to drive for about 1.5 hours (on sometimes small country roads) to get there, you might want to reconsider.
Review 4：The castle itself was beautiful and met all my expectations in terms of aesthetic. The restaurant offered a degustation menu for a reasonable price. The food was pretty good and we were definitely very full afterwards. Amazing view from room.

Review 7：The restaurant opens at 8pm which was too later for our 2 and 3yr olds, so we had to go to town for dinner, which was not an issue for us, We actually saw more than we would have by just staying at the Castle

Review 20：The friendliness of the staff and the ambiance cannot be beaten.Alessandro and Sandro went out of their way to make us feel very welcome. On learning that it was our 30th wedding anniversary we were upgraded to the bridal suite which was a wonderful surprise. The castle has 1000 years of history, and yet it felt like home. As we now live about 15 minutes away from the castle in the Casentino Valley we will definitely be back for a meal from time to time. Thank you to everyone for making our day so special!

Review 27：This was the best experience we had in Italy. The two gentlemen runningthe castle are so wonderful, and I can't say enough about theirservice. I have never been so pampered, not to mention while staying ina castle! In a quiet spot in Tuscany, which I much preferred to anywhereelse we went in Tuscany. The food is stellar, as is the wine, and thebreakfast is out of this world. What made it best for us was all thespecial attention and help from the two gentlemen. We had a personalissue that couldn't be attended to on a Saturday (which was when weleft) and the young man went into the city to take care of it for us thefollowing week! I couldn't be more thankful or happy to have stayedhere, and though I would like to keep it our little secret, I had togive them what little I can in return for the wonderful time they gaveus. Thank you so so much!!
