Review 1：The staff was very friendly, though they don't really speak English. I speak some Japanese so that was no problem, but for others just keep this in mind.
Review 2：A little difficult to find, a good idea to ask for directions at the Tourist Office in the main station!

Review 6：Poor WiFi signal, language barrier with staff, ryokan advertised online but staff does not have the technology to confirm it, we booked a non-smoking room but our room had a stale lingering cigarette smell everytime we walk into the room.

Review 12：The building itself was quite old and run-down. Public bath for men, but not for women - so had to wait for guests to vacate the private bath, so I could use it.

Review 14：Shared toilets, although I must say the toilets were clean. Bath for men was very small. Only for two people max. I was lucky to be alone late at night but I guess depending on the hour you may have to wait if the bath is full.
Review 15：The staff was super friendly. Delicious Japanese breakfast was included. Great to go on a budget and to sleep in a 'traditional' Japanese room with futon and tatami. Not far from Shizuoka station. At around 6-10 minutes by walk.
