Review 1：The couple managing the unit were rude to us on arrival commenting that we had paid but could they charge us again?! During the stay, seemed like we were too much trouble. The reception closed at 5 and my query was at 4.30 but they took ages to respond and were rude to me when they finally did. There was a big notice about making sure we didn't lie on the beds in the lounge or we would have to pay extra!! We left some toiletries there which they kindly offered to post on to us but then followed this up with a rude e-mail about having to stand for ages in a post office queue.

Review 9：No air con or TV in main bedroom, and it was very sunny. As we had the extra single beds in the room where the TV and aircon were, we used them, as there was just the two of us. However, we were charged an extra $20 night for using the single beds, as we had booked a budget room, which only has a double bed. This was not mentioned to us when we booked in. N.B.This motel does not have a "budget room", as all their rooms are the same. Charges were taken out of our credit card, after we had left. We did not use the main bedroom, so I don't know why we should have to pay additional charges for using the single beds.
Review 10：Not too close to town, which made it quiet, but still only a couple of klms to main town area. The owners were very nice and very helpful, and allowed us an early check in. Building is an older type and needs some repairs, but they had a cyclone earlier in the year. Inside the unit was very clean, and well set out, and had everything we needed. I think we were upgraded to a room that could hold 4 or 5 people, as there was a large double bed, two singles and a couch that folds out. That was much appreciated. Pool area was nicely set out with a BBQ area which had family size table and a full size fridge.
Review 11：Our balcony had no railing so they had locked the sliding door and we couldn't get out. It is on the beach - but set right back so you can't see the beach. Very old and run down.

Review 23：office unattended when I arrived. rang bell twice then had to phone to get someone to book us in. Wasn't late maybe about 4pm. Told we were swapped from original booked room (paid for 3 weeks in advance). Our room had been used and not cleaned, and toilet paper was almost empty on the roll. Air con in main bedroom was not working, was not informed of this upon arrival. Obviously why other guests asked to move out of room into our originally book room. Ended up having to sleep on two single beds and couch to sleep in air con lounge room. Was not given password to free wifi, did not even tell us it needed password. By the time we tried to use it the office had closed. Not impressed with this service at all. For air con not working we should have been given a discount.

Review 25：Being on lower level right next to pool meant it was noisier because of kids swimming all day. Car park away from unit meant a bit of carting and carrying. Please it wasn't raining!!

Review 67：The man that checked my partner in was very rude and was swearing because of an incident with the bank and wrong card details. Simple mistake that was easily fixed, but he appeared in a cranky mood. He did apologize for swearing but she found it very rude and offensive of him. The bed was very hard. For the price we paid, there is a brand new motel with specials on a lot cheaper than what this motel is offering as it is very old and quite neglected. Poor choice, will stay elsewhere next visit.

Review 69：We did not find the 'lounge' chairs comfortable to sit in for very long and the ceiling fan in the bedroom was noisey overnight.
Review 70：The location was good as not in the middle of Yeppoon but close enough. With the beautiful beach at the back of the property an early morning or evening stroll is always an option.
Review 71：The smell of mould , the roof had big water damage, something ran around in the roof all night was worried it was going to fall in. Stayed one night they charged for three and still having dramas of getting a refund.

Review 76：Some simple maintenance is needed - for example the door to the balcony wouldn't shut properly. Also the layout of the bathroom is such that you have to step around the toilet to get in and out of the shower. And the mirror in the bathroom is so high I could only see the top of my head in it.
Review 77：Nice place to spend a couple of day. These units are privately owned so each one fitted out differently. We stayed in Unit 3. Generally, it was nicely fitted out with everything needed for a great break. Units are right on a beautiful beach - great for swimming and walking along.
