Review 1：Attentive service, excellent choice of local and western food, choice of garden or inside for eating, rural setting.... They helped us to arrange a man and van for the 5 of us for various tours.

Review 2：Second room was not good. It was smelly & small. After the booking, hotel staff contacted us and told the rooms we booked were not available & offered us different type of rooms. That was not expected us after the booking through your web site. Internet connection was very slow & couldn't use it.

Review 4：We did feel a little uncomfortable with the staff appearing to want tips all the time. Otherwise there was nothing bad at all.

Review 5：It was a refreshing place to stay in after our train journey from Colombo. Unfortunately we arrived later than we had expected so didn't get to really enjoy this excellent place. At breakfast we met lots of travellers from all over the world...we love that.

Review 8：When asking for the bicycles the receptionist insisted that it was too far to cycle around the sites, which is definitely not true. Instead she recommended us to hire a tuck tuck but we glad we still chose the bicycles. Also, when we wanted to hire a car with a driver to continue to.the next place, the price they charged was much higher than necessary.

Review 9：Hotel is nice and clean, room and bathroom are fine. Location is central but quiet. We rented bicycles from the place to go around the sites. The restaurant is quite nice too.

Review 10：Nothing to do with the Hotel (don't go to the ayurvedic massage place recommended by the driver - dirty, do not know how to massage and $$$ especially for tourist!!!)

Review 12：We stayed here during one night exploring Anuradhapura. Everybody in the city knows this place, so this is not a problem to find the way. Staff was very friendly, the food in the restaurant was very tasty and portions are very big. We lived in beautiful room with shared terrace with beautiful view.

Review 13：Room with a balcony does not mean a 'communal" balcony across from the room. Perhaps boiling water could be available all the time in the foyer.

Review 14：Good facilities. Arranged excellent tuk tuk driver for a day of sightseeing (2500 LKR) and the driver gets all the money.

Review 15：The room was fairly clean and the street was quiet, which helped tremendously to have a proper rest. The only "hic" would be not having free internet access. The staff was very helpful, specially when we had to shorten our expected stay there.

Review 16：we only stayed 1 night.I am taking my parents and kid for this traveling, 2 double room, 1 is good, the other one is comparatively poor. Pillows are terrible hard in both 2 rooms, none of us could sleep sound that night. The location is also far away from the city, we have 2 take a tuk tuk!

Review 27：Milano Tourist Rest is a great little hotel offering clean rooms, great service and lovely food at reasonable prices. The staff are informative and helpful, and nothing too much trouble.

Review 28：We had wine with our dinner which is a bit too expensive in our opinion (3,900 Rupees which was half the amount of the total bill including mains and dessert). The shower is 1 whole thing with the toilet, would have preferred if the toilet facilities were a bit more comfortable.

Review 29：As we arrived, the staff really welcomed us well and had our clean room ready. We also sat in the terrace for a beautiful calm dinner with good Sri Lankan food, wine and traditional dessert. The breakfast was very good as well with fruit and continental breakfast.
