Review 9：This is not the fault of hotel, but my plane did not land until after 9:00pm so the usual airport shuttle was not available and I would have had to pay 30 euros if I hadn't been able to share with another passenger going my way. Tthe usual shuttle is 8 euros one way or 14 euros if you buy to and from city center ( it will pick-up and take you to hotel upon request).

Review 10：The staff was ultra friendly and helpful! The location was a nice walk to center of town or they provided a shuttle to and from. The carpet was rather worn In my room, but clean overall. They provided breakfast and dinner, of which I did not partake.

Review 11：Attractive contemporary hotel built with no consideration of sound control. Paper thin walls, noisy plumbing etc. Be sure to review your final bill and charges.

They wouldnt let us have a friend sleep over at the hotel....it was 5am in the morning we made the longgg treck from town to the iglo hotel and the man at the front desk Orlando refused our entry or the consequences would be an extra $30 for another person to stay One night, and he would inform the director of the hotel...like we were little children coming home to our parents house..It was very odd and extremely uncomfortable.

Walking distance to old town about 30 mins,slowly, taking shortcuts explained at the reception. Liked the mini-metro up to the old town, and the escalators, to help climbing the hill on a hot day (not that we are lazy or not fit for the walk ;)

Review 33：The free shuttle service to the historical centre is fantastic. You are dropped off and picked up near an elevator that takes you straight to the old centre. Breakfast is from 7:15, good and sufficient. There is a supermarket (Hurrà) within walking distance from the hotel.

Review 37：While not in the centre of town this hotel is in a good location to avoid the traffic (and ZTL) if you have a car and the parking is easy. Staff were friendly and food was quite nice. We ate dinner here as it was a bit far to walk to restaurants at night. Rooms are adequate.

It's more that the city of Perugia obviously doesn't beleive in street signs (other than a few medieval ones for horseback riders) so it's hard to find your way around the city as a whole.

You can go to the historic center by foot, but it is 20 minutes walking and there is a lot of slopes and stairs. If you go by car you can leave the car in a Parking B and go to the top by elevator.

In particular, the front desk staff, the women hosting the continental breakfast and the shuttle driver were very attentive to my wife and I, and my parents, who are in their 80's. When not using the shuttle, we would walk from the peace and quiet of the hillside that Ilgo Hotel sits in to the historic center of Perugia (going slowly and taking it all in) which all of us enjoyed very much. It is one of the most lovely walks anywhere!

Review 112：Do not let the location deter you. The hotel is located an easy walk to town ( after the initial stairs to the upper road). It is a great opportunity to view the local area, the little lane ways , cafes and generally observe how the people of Perugia live. I am a 58 year old, single woman and I had no problems taking this walk several times a day. Staff went out if their way to be helpful. An all round good experience.

Review 113：Good Map Directions from AutoStrada would be helpful, as Perugia is a large steep hilly city with very winding streets. The ring road is fast, but knowing closest correct exit name to get to the Hotel would save a major headache.

Review 114：Very comfortable, good signage on roads to find Hotel, pleasant woodland setting, so close to the Ancient Perugia City. Plenty of Car Parking. Convenient Hotel Restaurant meal was very good. Only about 5minutes quite easy walk to Porta Pesa closest Ancient City wall gate, total 20minutes to walk to main Piazza IV Novembre, even though this part is uphill.
