Review 1：The room smelt of urine, 1950's era shower and toilet facility. Entrance to bathroom was raised and a trip hazard. Enclosure for microwave oven is a bump hazard which we both bashed our foreheads against several times. Air conditioner was so noisy inside the unit that sleep was difficult and the balcony couldn't be used when air conditioner was in use. The balcony also had a constant drip from air conditioners above us where we were getting wet from spray from air conditioner overflow.

Review 2：Bathroom was very rundown and had a terrible smell coming from the drain.

Review 4：Pool area needs an upgrade, and is very awkward to access for anyone with mobility issues. Rather than a list of "Body Corporate" rules, would have appreciated a hotel-style directory with general information.

Review 9：Views from the balcony. Clean, modern room & kitchen area. Bathroom clean but could do with a revamp. Breakfast OK.

Review 10：The description provided of my room was not correct. The description said that the room contained a Queen and a Single Bed, however when I got there it only had a Queen. I needed to move rooms to one that was not as nice as the first one, and cost less than what I paid. The receptionist included breakfast as compensation.

Review 11：I really liked the location and the receptionist was extremely helpful. Bed was comfortable, and view was nice.

Review 12：Secure parking was an issue with very limited spaces available. An addition of brewed coffee at breakfast would also be great - instant coffee just doesn't cut it.

Review 14：There were ants in the kitchen. The water temperature wasn't steady in the shower- you would think it was balanced then you would get hit with boiling water then cold water and would continue for the whole shower. The water was turned off by a plumber with no warning then when spoke to reception we asked to be called when the water got turned back on but got no call back at all... We had to call them!!!

Staff went out of their way to accommodate us by ensuring that there was light milk available for breakfast by going especially to the shops for us.

Review 24：Woman at check in was unpleasant, extremely unenthusiastic and unhelpful. She told us the restaurant was booked out by a tour group so we would have to eat elsewhere. When we asked where she gave us incorrect information.

Review 25：the room that we were allocated as per paper work was given to some one else as we were not entered in computer and were given alternate room with no carpet with no glue removed and balcony had water on floor that does not drain needs complete up grade for price charged

Review 27：Staff were extremely friendly and helpful in trying to find us the perfect room, despite the hotel having suffered significant damage in the recent cyclone. Turned out to be one of the best rooms possible, with a great balcony overlooking the bay. The only downside was that the room had no carpet (removed after cyclone flooding) which we were warned about and happily accepted under the circumstances - we were keen to support this tourism- based community in the aftermath of the cyclone.

Review 28：We arrived a week after the cyclone. The staff were friendly and accommodating considering they had so much on their plate to get the hotel back and running to it's full capacity. We enjoyed our stay and would stay there again.

Review 35：Absolutely no parking when arriving, seems to be a free for all. Had to park on side of road which really isn't convenient with luggage. The room had a smell about it, not a dirty smell but as if it had been shut up for way too long.

Review 40：The room was sold to me as 'refurbished' but was outdated and quite ugly. No clock. No table where the powerpoint was so your mobile had to go on the floor while charging. No shelf in the shower to put your soap on so it had to go on the floor. Some lights didn't work. No blackout curtains so we were awake at sunrise. We had to move the microwave to plug the kettle in. Bathmat was soiled. TV was iffy.

Review 47：The friendly welcome by staff, the comfort and cleanliness of our Skyline Suite 803 on 8th Level. Especially appreciated the two very comfortable chairs provided as well as good outdoor furniture on balcony. Breakfast was first class. We will go again.

Review 48：The room was very old and very much in need of renovation which gives the impression of not being clean. The bed was not comfortable at all. We found it a little disturbing to be told by the manager that the room we had was once used by a "lady of the night". I also found the pool hard to find as the signage is not very explanatory

Review 58：You would think in the day and age that wireless or some type of internet connection would be available. Well yes there is but you have to pay for it and it's only available on the ground floor. For a person traveling on business this is unacceptable and a deal breaker for future stays at this establishment no matter what the rest if the facilities are like.

Review 60：Like many motel style accommodation places, the add said "free private parking is possible on site (reservation is not possible)". There are spaces for 24 cars and there are 64 units, an unstated number of which are privately owned. (We got to park off the street on one night out of our 4 night stay). The second unpleasant surprise was the discovery that the apartments were NOT serviced in any way. The receptionist was kind enough to give us a new plastic bag to empty our rubbish bins into. Not that we could create much rubbish as the kitchen sported a very nice, new looking, cook top but the one very small saucepan supplied was hardly conducive to frying an egg much less allow for the creation of masses of vegetable peelings. The cupboard under the sink which could have housed a frying pan, instead housed four large tins of paint which again might have been put to better use on the fairly well-scuffed walls. During a 4 night stay in a warm humid climate out towels got pretty soggy. When we asked for clean ones, the very pleasant and apologetic receptionist gave us two clean ones, commenting that they were still free for the present. (We won't be back next year to find out how much they will cost then).

Review 61：Bayview Tower tends to dominate in the packed line of accommodation venues bordering the Yeppoon sea front. Being up the hill a bit it obviously has very good views and a good convenient location. It also used to have a reputation, (according to the in-laws whom we were visiting), for luxury and service. I do not know if the management has changed, or the old one started economizing, but its reputation is certainly beginning to.

Review 62：No utensils to use in the microwave in units. No jugs, bowls etc. Empty shampoo & conditioner containers were left in the bath for 2 days, yes I know we could have put them in the rubbish but thought the housekeeping would have.
