Review 1：1 studio apartment (not the disabled one that my grown sons had) but the one my partner & I were in did not have any dishes, cutlery nor toaster, which our booking said it did. We had to ask for such from reception. There was no tap facility to fill the hot water jug, as trying to fill it from the vanity tap in the bathroom was difficult as the jug does not fit under the tap.

Review 16：Would have liked a doona or blanket made up on the bed. The bed was made up with a fitted sheet and a top sheet... And a spare blanket could be found in the wardrobe. The first night I was a little cold with only the one blanket doubled over to cover me so i asked for an extra blanket for my second night.

Review 22：This stay is the first time we used the restraunt. I invited a client to dinner and we were very disappointed to find more food on the menu not avail than avail. For the quality and quantity I feel what food was avail to be overpriced. We ordered 3 fish of the day only to be asked would one of us like to choose another dish as you only had enough for two dishes or would we like the 2 portions of fish split between 3 dishes. I would stay again but would not dine there.

Review 24：Cook, kitchen staff and manager all smoking outside reception entry, hoseing kitchen floor while cooking meals, dust on wall furniture in dining room, training of staff to serve drinks and meals is needed. These are just some of the unfortunate observations and experiences. We attended a wedding where it was overrun with unskilled and very young staff. The standard of food was very poor also

Review 30：Restaurant meals were expensive and took a long time to serve with few customers at the time. Location is away from city center Wif Fi did not work when I needed to send emails. Room key entry is by card which failed several times requiring refreshing. Pool had minor floating debris so they could have left the filter on to clear any falling material.

Review 38：The room was not made up for 3 days because the do not disturb sign was on the door for 30 minutes at 8.30 in the morning on 1 morning. Wet towels when arriving back at midnight was a real let down times 3.

Review 39：Distance from CBD, price is over the top for what it is, rooms need a good airing, access key cards fail daily and need changing (front office staff are not happy about that), otherwise, it's okay.

Review 40：Meals here are some of the best in Mackay. It's a long way from the city centre and quiet ... you'll need a car. Housekeeping staff are eager to please whereas the front office staff leave a bit to be desired when you have to re-charge your door keycard a few times each day! Great place for meetings, weddings, etc.

Review 103：On entering the room there was an overpowering smell of ammonia(public). That night I has Salmon with chips and salad in restaurant,salad was wilted and chips were dry/old and just warm. Fish wasnice. I advised staff who said they would tell the chef, I suggestedmanagement should know. Age of building describes décor. Nothing wassaid to me on departure. Would I go back, no.

Review 104：We didn't like the bed we found that it was hard to sleep on. I also didn't like how our door was very close to our neighbors. They were coming & going all night so we were woken up everytime they opened & closed their door. The motel has a function facility & they had a wedding on the last night that we stayed there. Some of the guests from the wedding stayed in motel as well & were partying till 1.30 or later. I thought that they should of been told to quieten down but they still made heaps of noise & kept the motel inhabitants up for the night.

Review 109：Wanted a child's meal because I am a very small eater and the restaurant food is expensive but they refused. I didn't want to pay for food I couldn't eat. Shutters wouldn't stay half closed. Kept opening fully giving so either no privacy or airflow.

Review 113：I stayed in the 'executive apartments' the only thing executive about it was the price! The rooms were just motel rooms in a different area, there must have been lots of party's on because it was also quite noisy. ants are a big problem.

Room very basic for the cost and I didn't like how they took the whole amount for the room off my credit card a month before our reservation date. Two different power points not working. The people next door to us were very disrespectful & just let this door slam hard every time they went in & out which was very loud in our room & wakes you up. I ended up hooking the door open so they couldnt use it which was better.The noise of people walking around upstairs was also quite annoying.
