Review 1：There isn't too much around the hotel, it is fairly out of the way Small things bothered me such as the tea and coffee in the rooms weren't regularly replaced

Review 7：Leaky shower with no pressure or warmth. Restaurant was horrible. Usually unstaffed and greasy food was uneatible. Grease hadn't been changed for months. Eat at Sunset House down the road. Could hear the person up over us as if he was in our room. We called him or her stomper.

Review 12：This was a convenient stop over between the airport and our holiday accomodation which wasn't available until a day after our flight into the Caymans. The young lady who checked us out on sat morning 22/08/15 was really friendly, happy and helpful. Good customer care skills.

Review 13：The rooms are In need of some basic maintenance. Our bed broke and we had to be moved to a crowded 2 bed family room. Occasional planes overhead as the hotel is on the incoming flight path to the airport. It did not disturb our sleep or relaxation though.

Review 14：Good position close to town but not right in the centre. Very helpful & friendly staff. Good food, free snorkelling equipment, kayaks & bicycles available. PADI diving available on site for shore dives. Pleasant small pool with pool bar.

Review 15：I noticed bugs in the bathroom. They didn't have my deposit money available and the front desk girl had to get her boss to give her CI to cover it. Those were my only bad experiences.

A letter of explanation would have been appreciated. Sun umbrellas would have made it more comfortable to sit around the pool area.

Review 32：The receptionist and ladies who cleaned the rooms were excellent, nothing was too much trouble for them and they kept the rooms spotless. They were polite and courteous at all times. Bar staff very pleasant and helpful.

The staff are so friendly and go out of their way to ensure you have everything and to make your stay as great as it was! Rooms are very clean and exactly what you need. Review 37：Was not what i thought, no breakfast included. No one to help you up the stairs with your luggages. As soon as i get he i saw insect crawling on the wall. (Teenager roach) They need to spray the rooms to keep away these insect. I took out a piece of cake from the refrigerator and place it on the counter and less than 5 minutes their was an insect crawling on it. I felt like i wanted to vomit. i spend 3 nights the following day no one clean my room. i have to question why my room was not clean.

Review 39：We rented a suite with a full kitchen which was great, even has a dishwasher, but we found we needed a few little things like a baking sheet -there was nothing for putting things in the oven, and while the washer and dryer were great to have we had to leave the room while the dryer was on because it made a horrible squeaky sound. So I went to the bar and had a Riviera Rum Punch, problem solved :)

Review 40：Best location, away from the touristy area but still walking distance to shops and restaurants. I love that they have bikes and kayaks and snorkeling equipment available for free. Lots of locals visit the bar, so you know it's good and reasonably priced, but it never got rowdy when we visited. We did rent a car and I would recommend it anywhere you stay, taxis can and will charge whatever they want. The place was clean and the grounds were well groomed, staff very friendly and helpful. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Review 41：The area around the bar was dirty and some dred head was hanging around smoking in a no smoking area and he was weird and creepy. The pool needed to be shocked and cleaned. I went to check out at 9:30am and the office hadn't opened yet. My tv had 3 channels and wifi didn't work outside the room.

Review 46：Kitchen facility was small! Ok for heating up ready-made food, but ifyou wanted to cook from scratch, way to limited. Only had a microwaveand a small plug-in cook top, and a small fridge. We stayed for 8 nightsand didn't get our sheets changed once, only made up every day. Wifiwas cutting out all the time.

Review 47：Staff were great, and friendly, and our room was comfortable with theneccessities. Very small bathroom. Over all the accommodatins wereclean. Nice pool and bar staff. With the proposed renovations andexpansions it should be even better next year. Take note that they arelocated a good mile walk from George Town, so a rental car, scooter orbike is a great option. It is also directly under the flight path to theairport so you get planes flying overhead. Not really a big deal. Greatsnorkelling right off the property.

Review 48：Cheap motel. Staff forgot to order the taxi I asked them to book . People talking outside room all night long . Beach front but no beach. Located in industrial area with view of gasworks.

I slept with ear plugs my girl friend did not sleep that is! rediculus ..too bad they do not value their hotel quests and would rather cater to locals stopping by to party every night at the loudest bar on the Island.

Review 57：Yes, I could see the ocean but much of it was blocked by a diesel storage facility. The kitchen was very poorly stocked, and the coffee maker in one of the rooms had mold in it. The bed in one room was not a pillow top as advertised and was extremely uncomfortable. The worst though was the high pitched squeal that commenced at 4am that eventually brought many hotels guest out into the night to research the source of the noise. It was the water pump and nothing could be done about it.

Review 59：Prior to arrival, could not contact the Riviera. They never did answer the phone listed on booking.com. They never returned my voice mails. Had trouble getting towels and sheets. House keeping only cleaned the room one day (we were there seven days.

Review 61：This is a great location if you want to be near town. It is immediately surrounded by oil storage tanks on either side which detracts from the enjoyment of the property, unfortunately. They have several kayaks and bicycles for guests to use and the pool/bar area is quite nice. For the price, this is was a good value.

Review 62：Started with booking a cot / crib. Sent 3 emails not response, called answering machine. Upon arrival told by staff they don't have extra beds / cots and asked the manager to take it off of Booking.com but he won't. Traveling with 2.5 yr old / 8 month old. 3 in a queen sized bed and Dad slept on floor!

Review 68：This is a bare bones hotel. My toilet was not secured to the Floor. There was little water pressure for a shower. The plastic furniture outside the rooms reeked of cheap. And there was stains only doorstep that looked Like Blood?.

Review 70：The hotel overlooks a large chemical storage facility (not shown in the pictures). The pool area looks nothing like the pictures - it seems that a swim-up bar is being added but it is not completed and no work was being done on it. There was a general feeling that everything was half-finished and a little rundown. The bathroom door had come off the sliding rails and the kitchen cupboards were not clean. Basics like bottle openers and wine glasses were also not to be found in the room.

Review 71：The location - walking distance to Sunset House. This hotel has the potential to be a good facility one day when the second wing is completed, but it is not there just yet.
