Review 1：Very small room and no comfort for this price ! Bed too soft , uncomfortable... springs of the mattress painful, no night table. Tiny bathroom : Shower splashes everything else, no hot/cold water mixer..., toilet badly positioned. "Door" of bathroom too noisy ! It 's also the only dressing for only two jackets ! No storage. Many insects (mosquitoes & spiders) Regular breakfast, the table is very small too. This is not a hotel, it's camping at price for a good hotel !
Review 2：... I'm thinking .... if you like country : Smell of manure of the cowshed at 10 meters... You are really lost in the middle of nowhere.

Review 11：We couldn't find the owner to check in initially, and later couldn't find her to ask questions about information. Otherwise, everything was great.

Review 13：-Such a shower is unacceptable for the room rate requested, water is flooding inside the entire floor bathroom at any shower & the evacuation is badly smelling, due to poor design (strangely a half-door is build instead of a complete shower door & the design of the shower basement is also not appropriate to evacuate water as it should). -Although the bed & bathroom are apparently clean, the many scratched insects + marks from shoes on the walls are not cleaned and thus definitely unacceptable. (it would take minutes with warm water to clean them, but instead the staff warned us to use shoes to kill insects inside the room... very unprofessional) -Windows are severely dirty and not cleaned, as well as the many codwebs not removed at the window frames outside (balcony side), were dozens of insects are accumulated. -Written invoice with price breakdown (after cash payment) received only after repetitive requests. -Breakfast at 7pm was refused and delivered the evening before.

Review 16：Everything! Cozy cottadges, friendly staff, great nature around. Perfect breakfast, fast wi-fi. Location is good for visiting the towns around.

Review 18：It was just great! We had a warm welcome by the landlady, who brought us a lovely breakfast to our room every morning, fresh milk (from their own cows - I have never tastes milk like this since I was a kid in the 50´s), juce, youghurt, bread, eggs, jam, cheese and ham. In the room you could make your own coffee and tea, and there was a nice big fridge. Rarely have we slept so well - no cars, no noise - just paradise and sweet dreams. We are already looking forward to our next visit, because it is certainly not the last time we will stay in this lovely place in Medemblik.
Review 19：The location was quiet & private, Only 1 km from the town. The design of the chalet was exellent with everything provided that you could possible need. Breakfast was also exellent. The owner has certainly given some thought into providing exellent accommodation.
Review 20：Problems with a few mosquitoes, and the first (of 6) requirement to pay a (small) local tourist tax, which should perhaps have been paid by the proprietor ?
