Review 1：Old style aircon may be loud for some. On the flight path for the airport may be bothersome if trying to rest with the earliest flight coming in at 0645. Although it's not right in the centre if town, Mackay is not big so it isn't an issue.

Review 2：A nice place to stay overnight on the way through. Friendly staff and a nice clean room made for a pleasant stay. Convenient undercover parking.

Review 3：The air conditioning didn't work in the room my son Stephen & his partner had, no one available at reception to report this too, very disappointed as this ruined their stay due to the heat & humidity.

Rooms are large which is a relief from trendier and tinier more up-market places and Michelle and her staff are obliging and helpful. While this motel is on Nebo Road rooms are also quiet, clean, comfortable

Review 8：The facilities were fantastic. The apartment room was clean and well furnished. It had an oven, dishwasher, microwave, washing machine and dryer. We stayed 5 nights and it was very comfortable, a home away from home.

Review 9：The tea cups were too small!! mugs would have been better. But that is nothing. It is just that we said we would bring our own next time.

Large room with all the essentials (except a microwave). 15 out of 10 for a fridge that was actually cold! Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Helpful friendly staff. We frequently travel the Bruce Highway and Mackay a regular break point... We will be back!!

Review 14：We are smokers, we do not even smoke inside at our home, i booked a room with a courtyard but we still had to smoke out on the verge. We still do have rights.

Review 16：We didnt want to use pool,however, as Only suggestion to owners i feel they would be better off moving the outdoor pool away from noisy msin road to the rear of carpark area and close rear exit to make a bbq area or shaded quiet area with private screens and palm trees landscaping . Nice reading tanning spot.

Review 20：On the second night being told by the manger to go to bed at 11 as there was four of us sitting at table at side of the block where we were staying having a few quiet drinks after being at mums funeral that day an talking sharing old stories an I found her quiet rude as she tried saying we were keeping the people in the units beside us awake an she would have complaints from them in the morning so I kindly told her well those people in that unit is us .so i won't be back there to stay again ,we left there when woke an booked in to the oaks carliya where we stayed the night with not one issue oh also the way the shower screen was fixed in I felt not a good access position to the spa bath at the White lace

Review 22：Clan spacious room. Due to the stay being on a weekend Continental breakfast was well provided on a night tray. Evening meal was at the local Bistro easy walking distance from motel which was excellent and value for money.

Review 23：Bed was uncomfortable, you sunk into the middle of the bed. Stayed a Saturday night couldn't get a hot breakfast only could get a continental breakfast.

Review 24：Nice and clean facilities, friendly and helpful manager on duty for our late than expected arrival at 6.30pm. Easy access to get back on the highway to continue our journey.

Review 25：Still advertising a restaurant but it is closed indefinitely. As a business traveler it is disappointing to arrive only to find I need to go out again for a meal.

Review 26：Arrived late about 8.30pm and they stayed open for us after we phoned to say we would be late. Spa was nice after all day travelling. Very conveniently placed on the highway though when we left we had to travel south before we could find somewhere to do a u turn to travel back north because it was a one way street. We were towing a boat and there was ample space to park in the side street. Bed was a little hard. We departed early so did not see much of the property.

Review 29：The shower door upon opening would stick and be difficult to close. In order to close, one had to put pressure on the soap dish to release the shower door and get it back to closed position.

My daughter was playing on the rug and when she stood up a cockroach leg was stuck to her leg, plus I saw a cockroach run across the floor in the night when I was awake with my baby. The lock on the door was not child friendly and could be opened from the inside even when locked with the key. There were also issues with the shower. A washer was on the floor in the toilet when we arrived.

Review 38：Location was good. Offered a breakfast and dinner was available at the bowls club nearby. Kitchen was self contained with full size oven and fridge.

Review 39：Wall Air conditioner faces the front door so it takes a fair while for the main bedroom area to cool down. The A/C appears to be low rating so the cooling is very slow. Only a couple of cups and a jug are provided - no other utensils / plates. Room facilities are dated but still work.
