Review 1：It is a motel afterall - not a hotel. So expect the comfort level of a motel, eg. can be noisy with people coming and going, beds that bit too hard.
Review 2：The owners/managers were pleasant and accommodating . The breakfast included in the price was a real sweetener and cooked as ordered. Huge pool with pool toys was a great hit with our children. I would recommend this place to my family and friends.

Review 5：I arrived late at night but I was still taken care of. The owner actually drove me to the airport the next day which was a tremendous display of customer service and a big help to me. WIFI was excellent as well.

Review 9：This is easily fixed, but I'll mention it as it may help withoffering better choices for guests like me. If I get to come back, Iwill ask for a different room as the one I got was right next to thesmoking area. Thankfully, I couldn't smell it in the room, but itwas a bit stinky as I walked out the door. I wouldn't care at all,if I hadn't been there with a kid.
Review 10：Almost everything. The staff were all really great and patient with myson who chucked a little tanty in reception and at one point tore thruthe laundry and stole some pegs! Thanks!
Review 11：Too horrendous to explain - very bad experience, foul language from management just one aspect. never, ever stay there again. Moved to motel next door, same price and much better. It is a long story and really don't have time to relate it right now.

Review 13：Lighting in room a little dark. Parking space in front of room not big enough to fit two large vehicles. Minor issue though. Cleaning staff were rather loud though when I was trying to sleep in after a long day.

Review 33：The friendliness of the owners and the breakfast time get- together of all the guests. Although most people kept to themselves, the owners made us all feel at home, and very generously provided breakfast (cereals, toast, bacon and eggs) for those who want it. This is included in the price, so it was excellent value for money. The bed was very comfortable and the louvre windows kept the morning light out, so it was even possible to sleep in. Lovely soft new towels and hot water that for once didn't go cold in the middle of my shower. The location is good, and street noise not noticeable. We would recommend The Mackay Rose to anyone wanting a comfortable, friendly place to stay.

Review 36：Staff were very friendly and the facilities were neat and tidy. Motel has a pool which is great for the kids. There was a little restaurant and the location was close to little shops. The new operators are busy trying to make changes to improve the facilities and are keen to hear feedback which is great!
Review 37：The room i stayed in was small i asked for 2 rooms i got one. The beds are to hard. The shower floss out the whole bathroom area. There was no microwave The parking was awful. We had to park the units down.

Review 46：The day after my stay I opened an answer to an email I had written making sure the facility was pet friendly. Apparently my dog was supposed to stay in the car! Besides it being illegal to leave a dog in your car ( especially in such a hot place) we booked this room and paid more than other similar places in the area so we could have our dog with us. The room looked and felt like a dog kennel and my dog wasn't even supposed to be there! Never again!
Review 47：The bed was so hard and uncomfortable. Woke up to a guest in the next room playing his music loudly and guests above me stomping around. T.V remote didn't turn off the tv. Undercover parking was limited.
