Reviews for Villaggio RTA Borgoverde
Review 1:The location is extremly difficult to reach, our car was damaged because of the narrow road to parking place. Do not go with a car you like to this place. The appartement had bad smell from the toilet. Beach is far by foot. Wifi is not good.
Review 2:Swimming pool although the water was not clear and otitis externa developed two of our family member
Review 3:Nothing at all
Review 4:Great staff. Pool and bar were excellent. Local family ran the restaurant and bar. They were so nice and their meals were like eating as part of a family meal. Apartments were good and very clean. The road up to apartments and parking is difficult at first but you soon get the hang of it. I'd highly recommend it.
Review 5:The property is on of the hill and both walk and drive up are quite challenging. Not for somebody without strong heart and legs. Parking under the olive trees is very tight.
Review 6:Location, beach, lots of restaurants around. The accommodation is excellent, very friendly and family atmosphere.
Review 7:The location of the car park is a bit awkward amongst olive trees.
Review 8:Very quiet place, has its own swimming pool, there was a wi - fi. Friendly staff, speaking English.
Review 9:- NOT WRITTEN THAT THEY DON'T OFFER YOU TOWELS AND SHEETS (so no cleaning service for 4 nights) - the beds were two singles one beside the other - the boiler for hot water was leaking (pretty bad in some moments) - no mugs (just small cups for cappuccino) - few electric sockets and very inconvenient positioned - basically no WiFi: it was working poor and it was only 3h free (you have to disconnect manually from the server otherwise it will go all your 3h without using it) - no mattress on the swimming pool area - inconvenient program for check-in and check-out, but very nice lady manager to deal with - no map with Vuze so USE GOOGLE MAPS
Review 10:- position: a nice alley down to the city about 15mins plus other 10mins to the beach - good complex with olives and palms - pretty nice kitchen appliances -nice terrace with view; perfect for having breakfast and lunch - nice pool area
Review 11:There was nothing to dislike. Our experience was very good.
Review 12:We very much liked staying in the "country" while only a short walk into the town.
Review 13:Pool is very nice and sunny whole day long.
Review 14:King bed was just to beds put together. So in the middle the night they went apart; )
Review 15:Personal was very helpful. Nice location but hard to find.
Review 16:There is really no big minus! The beach was quite full but you have the pool at Borgoverde as a good alternative and for going inside the sea the beach still is good for.
Review 17:Borgoverde is on a hill near the sea. You have a great view from the flats on the sea. The staff is really friendly - they help wherever they can! It is a very nice "facility", full of olive trees, with the pool and a bit away from the hustle and bustle.
Review 18:A nice place for a family with children to spend their holidays somewhere hot and sunny. As there is a short way to the seashore, the hotel's swimming pool does it good. The staff speak good English.
Review 19:The bar wasn't open on all days, but it was early in the season, however a vending machine would have helped. The nearest shops are lessthan 10 minutes walk away but this includes a steep walk on a cobbledtrack, that would not suitable for elderly/infirm/pushchairs orwhen it was wet. The wifi only seemed to work on an iPad in or justoutside reception. We were told about this and also that it would workby the pool, which others on laptops seemed to be able to use but on theiPad it didn't work. The ability to have plug in to access theInternet in the rooms might be useful for laptop users. Only 1 of ourcontinental plug adapters fitted into the plug socket, something that wehaven't found to be a problem with the other one in other countries.
Review 20:The price was very good for the region and there were no extra charges(for bedding/towels/wifi) despite these being mentioned on thewebsite. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The apartment wasgood, it was clean and had many of the items you would need. Ahairdryer and kettle would have also been useful. It was very peacefuland relaxing at the apartments. Imperia itself is a nice town, not tootaken over by the tourist industry. It was nice to sit at the coffeeshops and watch the locals go about their business. The are lots ofgood local pizzerias and restaurants to eat at, we particularly enjoyedthe food at Pizzeria Hobos. It was lovely to walk around the harbourand see all of the boats, including some very large ones which seemedto be docked there while they were cleaned or repaired. Not many ownersseemed to be on board.
Review 21:The shower could be better with a curtain and mounted higher on thewall, there is no kettle or toaster and only a very small hot plate,it's ok for two but with anymore people this would be a problem
Review 22:The apartment was clean and spacious
Review 23:The beds moved apart a lot, and the bathroom didn't smell good at all.
Review 24:the receptionists were both sweet and amazing. They helped us find good dining spots and fun areas to visit and it was like a home kind of. The walking path has a great view, but you really have to be in shape to get back to the apartment. It was right by the sea. And took us no time at all to get there half by car and half by foot. They even helped my girlfriend by picking up a birthday cake for me. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat. :-)
Review 25:-Swimming pool is excellent -Wi-fi is free upto 3hrs /day -Plenty of parking space -Airconditioning works fine
