Reviews for Hotel Rosengarten
Review 1:Weird arrangement with the bar and restaurant - meals served for only 2 hours each evening and can't put drinks or meals on the room.
Review 2:Location convenient for where I was working. Large room.
Review 3:The single room is very small, as well the table inside (I could place hardly my notebook on it). The breakfast was also very modest (two-two sorts of salami and cheese). In the room I found intimate lingerie from previously staying guests.
Review 4:It is relatively close to the railway station (15 minutes walk or 2 bus stations) and it has easy access to downtown and university campus.
Review 5:La gentillesse de l'accueil et le contact personnalisé. Le parking couvert sécurisé. La situation géographique par rapport à la vieille ville comme par rapport à la Chartreuse de Pavie.
Review 6:My choice of this hotel is based primarily on its easy accessibility to the San Matteo hospital which is directly across the street. I have used this option several times and will do so in the future. It appears to be a family-run business, friendly and considerate. Wi-fi is free; a computer and printer in the lobby is available for guests.
Review 7:Most staff seemed a little disinterested
Review 8:Oldish male staff member was very helpful. Place has own garage withvery reasonable 5 Euro/day parking (apparently free parking isavailable but there weren't lots for us that day). The neighborhood is quiet and just outside the historic city (this could also be a disadvantage for some of you)
Review 9:Really nice hotel, clean and with everything that we need: helpful and nice people, breakfast, a spacious bedroom, a big desk to work. It's a walking distance to the center of the city. With the free rental bicycles we went to Pavia and we did a huge and nice ride to the Certosa di Pavia.
Review 10:Very nice hotel, central location and comfortable. I wish we had more time to rent their bikes and cruise around Pavia. The front desk staff was very warm and helpful. The breakfast that was included offered a lot of choices.
Review 11:Bed was not very comfortable.
Review 12:Very friendly personnel, good breakfast.
Review 13:Room us cold

Review 21:the location near the university and the hotel personnel
Review 22:A bit too basic.
Review 23:Lock up garage, friendly family business. Handy stopover on route to Milan airport, about 45 mins. Has all the basic comforts.
Review 24:Dirty
Review 25:Poor breakfast Not comfortable access from parking to the hotel itself
Review 26:Wide rooms
Review 27:rooms are notat all soundproof , I could easily hear my nearby's phone calls, not to say about people in the corridor. Breakfast is low-level, no real coffee.
Review 28:free good wifi, good room price
Review 29:The hotel is a bit rusted but normally everything works. Breakfast is not great.
Review 30:Nice hotel, fair value for money, very nice staff, free parking & free internet.
Review 31:The bathroom is dirty (also towels) and the WC was broken. The staff was very unpleasant. The location was unconfortable and so far to the centre of Pavia and in a very busy street.
Review 32:The hotel was tired decoration away from the main reception was poor my bathroom door was badly damaged bed was basic
Review 33:Its proximity to Milan. Secure Parking Friendly staff
Review 34:The only negative was the coffee at breakfast!!!
Review 35:Hotel Rosengarten was much better than expected. Room rates were quite low, but the hotel staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Wifi was free, the rooms were clean, the shower and bed both very good. The hotel was a 10 minute (pleasant) walk from the city centre and an easy walk from the station.
Review 36:The hotel is run by a very hospitable couple. They were very pleasantand friendly and helped us to be very comfortable at the hotel. Of allthe three hotels we stayed in Italy( the other two in Venice and Rome, this was the only hotel that had wifi available. The hotel is walkabledistance from the railway station and the University of Pavia. The roomswere good with a private balcony. We strongly recommend this hotel foreveryone coming to Pavia.
Review 37:Breakfast is poor. Tomato, cucumber, egg, various kinds of cheese, meat without pork should be serviced.
Review 38:Clean. Friendly. Comfortable. Safe. Well located.
Review 39:The rooms are not very sound proof. Would be better if each room has a thermoflask.
Review 40:Very accessible. Wonderful owners, they are very friendly and helpful. Simple yet very clean rooms, thus room rates are very reasonable. Excellent Wifi.
Review 41:For the breakfast there could be some more options for example fruits, vegetables if you are used to eat other things than just white breadand cheese.
Review 42:Close to the city centre if you like to walk or you can take the bus, too. Kindly people in the hotel, you got information when needed and theservice was good. I had a big room and I slept well, the room was clean.
