Review 1：Felt a bit deceived, property was in the middle of a residential area and was back packer style accommodation. Just bunk beds all in a single small room. Parking was very tight.

Review 2：It's a bit far from the town. They offer you an expensive shuttle service. The sofas in the garden must be cleaned. Wi-fi doesn't work well enough. We could not be connected in any time.

Review 3：Nice swimming-pool. Well decorated. Nice shared kitchen and living room with a free internet computer. Comfy and nice private bathroom. BBQ at your disposal. Nice playground for the children.

Review 4：The front is just the owners house which was off putting when we arrived. We arrived at about 2pm and was told to go away as check in wasn't till 3pm. I didn't mind this but it was the way she said it that annoyed me. The aircon had a timer so would turn off after about an hour. The bed was a bit too firm. The other business this family have is wall paper and it was really over done in the room, made it too busy and made the room look smaller.

Review 5：Nice little set up, very modern and well put together. Nice pool and the sand area with seats and hammocks was a good touch. Looks newly renovated with nice paint scheme.

Review 6：I would have liked to have been able to drive up to my Unit door and have an undercover car park. Swing the big gate so that it goes right back up against the fence. Having it closed 1. Is off putting and 'unwelcoming'. 2. Having to get out to open and close it was a nuisance not normally encountered at a Motel.

Review 8：Was the most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept in. I had a room right beside the communal kitchen and was noisy. Probably wasn't what I was expecting and maybe should have researched a little more.

Review 11：The access to the security parking was difficult. Don't park a large car e.g. Something the size of a VW Amorok, as it will not be easy to remove your car from the gates, without removing some paint from your vehicle. Could do with widening. Also, the 7:30am opening time of the same gate is a bit inconvenient. Perhaps consider 6:30/7:00am opening time. I would recommend to future guests to park outside on the street.

Review 12：It was immaculate. The cool and quirky decor and animals were a great feature! Very good facilities, communal kitchen, pool and seating spaces including hammocks. If we had more time, we would have certainly made use of these. Liked the 'homey' feel.

Review 13：We have travelled to a lot of countries & locations & were a little taken back by the rules & the size of the room. For the price we expected our own private balcony/patio & definitely closer to the beach & city centre. This is the reason we book the property. We had to drive to dinner & also had to leave our car out on the street overnight, as the gates do not open before 7:30am. We walked a National park at 6am, but had to drive to the base, hence we needed to leave our car outside. We were also surprised at the non-smoking rules for the entire property. This was not disclosed at any point of the booking or payment.

Review 19：Pokiness of room ('just' enough room along bottom of bed), difficulty in closing bathroom window due to height, hard mattress, didn't like the quality of the brown bottom sheet. Biggest disappointment was that this accomodation venue was the only place to charge my friends and an early check in fee of everyone who travelled from out of town. Kind of left a bad taste in my mouth :(

Review 24：Room was beautifully set out. Uniquely decorated. Towels made into two swans forming a love heart and tissue formed into shell shape were perfect additions just to top it off. Owners were incredibly polite and cheery

Review 25：The owners were exceptionally friendly and helpful. They went out of their way to give me advice on what to see, where to cycle, and some insights into Yeppoon. This is clearly a labour of love for them, and it is reflected in the property and the care and consideration given to it. As a small example, they have a place to lock up bikes, with a security camera on it, which was great for me. They put it in because once a guest stayed with them with his very expensive bicycle. They listened, and as a result, there was somewhere for me to put my bike. I saw families staying and playing in the sand, relaxing in the pool, watching tv in the shared kitchen/lounge. Really a fantastic place.

Review 34：Double room was very small especially for luggage for 2 people and no wardrobe only 2 hanging spaces. Bottom sheet and doona was made of a poly fabric, very hot. Several noisy guests who did not get back to the accommodation until 4am could be heard walking in overhead rooms and on stairs and their loud talking was very disturbing.

Review 40：Very limited on-site parking. Rooms have been refurbished but in an impractical style. Dim lighting, poorly suited to reading. No wardrobe and very little opportunity for hanging clothes. Nowhere to put luggage except on the floor, in the way. Shower water tends to splash over bathroom floor as no curtain and no "step" between recess and rest of bathroom. Some of floor had not been swept when room serviced.

Was also charged an extra $100 on arrival because I used Visa/debit card.Not allowed to have spirits in the room( I don't drink wine and beer and I'm 42, I should be able to drink what I like). On Saturday I wanted to go to markets but the front gate was locked and I couldn't get my car out of the car park until after 7.30 when they unlocked the gates. Felt like a school girl with these ridiculous rules. Then had to send emails to get $100 deposit refunded a week later.

Review 57：I am a travelling consultant and have stayed at many places throughout NSW & QLD. I would have to say this is one of the nicest places I have stayed in. The place speaks for itself. It has such a nice energy about it and for what it is, it is so cheap.

Review 58：The policy is quite strict: no alcohol in the rooms, no noise, people from outside strictly forbidden to be on the property (and I do not mean the rooms but also the yard). Personally we did not intend to invite anyone and we did not drink alcohol, so we did not have any problems, but the rules on the board seemed quite strict, for those who plan more party during their holidays. The thing which bothered us the most was that the WiFi was not available between 10pm and 6 am, which was a huge drawback, as we needed the WiFi to book hostels for our next days. We were backpacking, so this really gave us quite some stress, as we were counting on being able to do all bookings when we are back from dinner.

Review 59：It was very clean, and extremely nice hostel, great yard, rooms were very nice, we also got upgraded which was quite nice.

Review 60：Disgusted at the policy with respect to a refund, we were treated veryrudely upon arrival so we decided not to stay there but were informed wewere going to be charged anyway, we were then obliged to stay and betreated like naughty children. Felt like we were staying in someonesbackyard with very strict rules. We needed to check in before 3pmhowever, were told there is a $15 early check in fee. At $100 a night,we certainly didn't get value for money. Perhaps the managers shouldconcentrate on just running their wallpaper business as they definitelydon't know how to treat their guests. Would only recommend thisplace as one not to stay at!

They really need to choose their focus and be one thing or the other (that said the back packers were very well behaved). Definitely over priced for what you get and the location.

There is a communal kitchen and BBQ area if you wish to prepare a meal or it is only a couple of minutes drive to the many eateries in Yeppoon.... and the hosts are extremely friendly and helpful.

Being a sales rep, I travel after work hours and stay at lots of motels. phoned the motel at 7.30 pm and asked for a key to be put in my room cause I was a couple of hours away, something I do with all motels if I'm going to be late and is never a problem. Told by owner that this was not possible and if I arrived after 9pm, it would be an additional $15. Had to speed to get there on time and no dinner. Not impressed!!

We were just there for an over/nighter before going to Great Keppel Island. If we knew it was so good we would have stayed longer. We will return. Review 109：Upon arrival, after a light scare by the dog, you are welcomed by some friendly Germans who host the place. The room was very clean and appeared to be recently renovated. It was also decorated by interesting wallpaper. We didn't really make use of most of the facilities, but they appeared to be ok.

The check-in time you receive from booking.com is wrong, is not until 22:00 but to 21:00 so be careful if you arrive later than that, the owner of the place will be really mad at you...2nd.The option of giving either your credit card details or $100 as a deposit is a lie,you MUST provide your credit card details. I felt really humiliated by the way the owner yell at me because I suggest to give her the $100 in cash, then she proceed to kick me out of the hotel on a rainy night along with my father knowing that because of their cancellation policy they could still charge for the night. I never understand why she behaved like that, so I definitely don't recommend a place where you have the chance to be treated like that depending on the kind of day the owner had and also where the conditions are very unfair and the owner decide what and how to charge you with the worst attitude you can find. If you don't want to have the chance of a bad experience, avoid that place to stay.

Review 114：On road free parking, very welcoming staff who want you to enjoy your stay as much as you do, gorgeously decorated rooms and outdoor area and pool is stunning, free towels, free soap, free tea and coffee, tv and ceiling fan in rooms, everything is newly renovated and clean!
