Review 1：- it was too expensive compared to the services offered (no food included, no kitchen facilities) and compared to comparable rooms in other locations nearby - probably it was so expensive because of the high season (holiday)

Review 6：Very tired 1970s fit out, no air con,ceiling fan was noisy, and the manicured gardens was sadly dried out desert, dried out plants in a dust bowl paddock.

Review 8：The shower was a bit of an issue to work out and kept going cold. Not enough mugs for more than 2 people. A bit overpriced but was expected in peak season. Could maybe come to an arrangement with local cafe for a discount on breakfast as none was available. Something to think about.

Review 13：We stayed for a night, en route to Adelaide along the Great Ocean Road. The loft apartment was spacious, clean & comfortable with all the necessary amenities. It is a holiday apartment, with a motel pricing. Conveniently located near to many eateries and shops. Definitely a value for money and would recommend anyone who would like to stop over at Apollo Bay for a night or so.

Review 16：Brilliant. Our room was recently refurbished in a modern style and we loved the luxury of our own spa after a day on the road. Easy walking distance to lots of great pubs and restaurants. Wish we'd stayed longer.

Review 36：I stayed on a windy night and the wind rattled the door loudly. I had to push a chair up against the door to stop the noise. However, I spoke to the manager about this in the morning and he said he was going to get door seals.
Review 37：Good sized room, everything was really clean, the furnishings were modern. Caesarstone benchtops in the kitchen and bathroom, excellent WiFi so could indulge in NetFlix etc. Modern bathroom. Nice amenities.

Everything was spotlessly clean. Soundproofing between rooms could be better, but not a great problem. The outdoor BBQ area looked very inviting.

Review 61：No view at all. From the kitchen you looked into a fence. Looking out from the main room you also looked at cars and another fence. The main door was far from airtight. Therefore the room was very cold and worse- smelt terrible of cigarettes, as it was allowed to smoke just outside the doors, where the ashtrays were placed.

Review 63：The hotel was situated opposite the beach and near to the shops. It is clean and comfortable and rooms have been recently renovated with new kitchens and bathrooms. The owners are friendly and helpful. There was a guest washing machine, which is also a bonus.

Review 68：I charnged the date after booking. But the website didn't communicate with the motel. The day we arrived, they didn't have the room I booked. So they added another single bed in the room. The staff is amazing.

Review 70：The motel rooms have been newly renovated and are clean and comfortable. Two lovely leather chairs to relax in next to the coffee table. Block out blinds made it easy to get a good nights sleep in the queen size double bed. The shower was over the spa bath so you have to step in and out carefully. Nice little kitchen too. Alright for a short stay of one or two nights. We could hear people in the car park directly outside our room but it was very quiet at night. Fan in the bathroom didn't work very well and it's hard to see in the dark grey mirror in the bathroom even with the light on. It's on the edge of town but easy to walk to the restaurants at night.

Review 96：My wife and I booked this place for a romantic getaway for 4 nights to celebrate my birthday and our anniversary. We arrived late the night before my birthday, and the first thing I noticed was that we had been given the wrong room. We were supposed to have a deluxe queen room with a gas log fire but instead had a triple room with no log fire. The second thing a noticed was the ants in the kitchen. 'It's ok, we'll speak to them in the morning', I said, and we unpacked our things. As my birthday clicked over, we had a few drinks and fired up the spa. We played some music through the tv (quietly) and talked until about 2am. The next morning, I awoke to the sound of the phone in our room ringing. It was the female manager yelling at me that there had been a complaint from the couple next door and that if we wanted to 'stay up all night partying' that we were welcome to go elsewhere. I apologised and tried to explain that we hadn't stayed up all night and that there certainly wasn't any party, and she hung up on me. We got up and got ready to go and have breakfast in town (as there were no cooking facilities in the room), and on our way stopped in at reception to ask about the incorrect room and the ants and try to clear up the issue with our neighbours. This time we got the husband, who upon inquiry about the room, quickly fobbed us off with a garbled aggressive tirade about how there was never going to be any gas log fire, before launching into a barked attack on us about the previous night. We stood there dumbfounded as he yelled and screamed and rubbed his face and looked completely unhinged. He accused us of partying until 5am and having brought our own sound system and other people into the room(!?) before again repeating that we were free to go and find somewhere else to stay if that was how we were going to behave.

Review 116：Just a shame no one told us of the closure of the Great Ocean Road for a bike race on a Sunday. People visiting from interstate would not have known this was on. Maybe Hire car places and airports could have been asked to let us know on arrival, we spent sometime backtracking and trying to get to the Coast. Finally arrived at Torquay for breakfast at midday.

Our room had quite obviously been renovated only days before our stay, there was still the faint smell of fresh paint (nothing the fan setting on the ac couldn't take care of). All in all, the beds were comfortable, it gets cold in Apollo bay in August. The electric blanket was most welcome! The bathroom has been freshened up and has great water pressure. Excellent value for money.
