Reviews for Askani Thulusdhoo

Review 1:The bathroom was dirty, towels and sheets were also dirty. The reception desk was always empty so it was hard to get a clean towel or toilet paper. The breakfast was always at least half an hour later than agreed time.

Review 2:The Maldivian breakfast was good.

Review 3:Continental breakfast, overall cleanliness - no one was really taking care of the common room / lobby - sand and rubbish everywhere. Thulusdhoo not a good spot for tourists - seen local women emptying and washing their dustbins in the ocean, straight on the only beach on the island. Pure disgust.

Review 4:Local breakfast, English speaking "receptionist", they borrow snorkling equipment. Good wifi and PC to with printer for use.

Review 5:found cockroach in the drawer.

Review 6:For me, I like this island for the peace and not touristic. the island is small but pretty clean and tidy to be compared with the others, few shops and little opinions didn't bother me at all. The hostel itself is just as the island, quiet and simple, I like the out door bathroom very much anyway. not far from the beach, just like few steps away. no bikini beach but still not bother at all. Wi-Fi is really good.

Review 7:Nothing really. Internet could be bouncing but so it is in the whole island.

Review 8:Askani was an excellent experience, the guys would go the extra mile to make you feel confortable . Only 4 rooms so never busy, the room was comfortable and we even had a jacuzzi in the external bathroom . Breakfast was punctual at the given time and good. It's not a resort, and the beauty was just that. The whole island was just something else, it was good to live with locals. What an experience!

Review 9:The bed was quite hard and noisy.

Review 10:The staff was awesome. They arranged us trips; snorkeling, sand bank, resort and surfing. The guesthouse is clean and there is wifi. Just few other turists in the island.

Review 11:The local people need to clean the beach area for future travelers or this will be a big problem

Review 12:Our bedroom with the Jacuzzi and open air bathroom made our stay perfect. The boys at the guest house are to cool lads who looked after me and my wife

Review 13:Nothing everything was very good, it's a pity we have to leave after one week we would have stay more!!

Review 14:The bathtub in room 501 and the breakfast and the location

Review 15:Not offering any activities or trips.

Review 16:Cosy, friendly environment, nice garden, we did feel like home. 3 minutes from beach. We liked the local breakfast. Very friendly and quite clean island. Great and cheap RSR restaurant nearby.

Review 17:- The management should erase some issues from the description: e.g. toiletries are not provided (so bring your soap and shampoo...), we were kindly directed to a shop when we asked about it; and there is a fancy flat TV in the room, which is great, but it does not work! Decoration feature? - Not many places to eat, so after a couple of days you run out of options - Breakfast could be improved, it is the same every day: real jam would be an improvement as it would be real juice and local fruits (papaya, banana grow all over the place, as opposed to imported apples or oranges)

Review 18:- Aircon works perfectly, as it does the wireless - The garden is nice, very quiet - Bed is comfortable (although a bit noisy) - Hot water shower - It is very clean - The staff is very helpful and kind, they supported it when we needed and went the extra mile to help - The island is very quiet and small, and that helps if what you are looking for is a quiet and relaxing holidays

Review 19:Guest House is near the beach with a nice garden. Our Room with garden view was clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly. The island is beautiful with friendly people. Due to extensive procedures to make the island bigger there are a lot of new sand and sandbanks.

Review 20:Satellite TV did not work the first 2 days. Owners should leave a telephone in the guesthouse for us to call the staff when they are not around. No way we could contact them except to look for them in the streets.

Review 21:We checked out other guesthouses and Askani is the newest and the best, for now. Large rooms, excellent airconditioining. Attached shower with bathtub and jacuzzi in room 501. Friendly and helpful staff.

Review 22:tv didt work. who cares anyway
