Locanda del Mar sells fast on our site. Set right on the seafront, Locanda del Mar is on the west side of Porto Maurizio in the picturesque fishing village of Borgo Prino. Its garden features a swimming pool and gazebo for summer dining.
This family-run property has a total of 6 rooms, all air-conditioned and offering either a patio or balcony. Rooms have a view of the garden, swimming pool or sea. Wi-Fi is free.

Review 1：Very comfortable stay in a hotel run by naturally hospitable people. The food was wonderful, we enjoyed perfectly cooked fish in a very pleasant setting.

Review 3：Too close to rail line: Keep window closed. Room 1 is a bit in between: Almost no patio/balcony as other rooms, and very close to the kitchen (keep door closed). Public beaches covered with big stones instead of sand.

Trains were very noisy, and there was little or no sonic insulation in the rooms (we could hear the conversations of the couple in the room across the stairs from us). On Friday night the bar opposite the hotel was noisy until 4.30 in the morning. Bring earplugs and its an idyllic setting.

Review 34：Great place to stay - relaxing, comfortable, friendly. The twin room is quite big and there's a small wardrobe/suitcase room attached to it (very handy!). Air-cinditioning works perfectly. Breakfasts are superb. The hotel restaurant is well-known and popular in the area for good food. Would definetely come back. Greeting to the owners (very nice family) who made our stay wonderful !!!

Review 35：First morning at breakfast we had to wait for 15+ mins to be asked if we wanted coffee/tea - there were just no staff about! However, this is because it is a small family run hotel, the next morning was fine, so I think we were just unlucky that first morning.

Review 40：Having experienced quite a number of short stays in albergos/smallhotels, it is easy to pin-point Locanda del Mar as quite exceptional.Largely family-run (father, mother & son are all a friendly & helpfulhands-on presence) the design and facilities, within a small & compactcomplex, have been carefully thought-out with the comfort & convenienceof its guests to the forefront. Attention to detail, both in the rooms& grounds (incl. Well-maintained pool + facilities), is clearly high onthe list of priorities. The breakfast experience was in every waydistinctly superior to others we've met with, and choosing to eat fortwo nights at the Locanda del Mar's own restaurant we were notdisappointed by either the excellent food or restaurant environment -when eating once indoors & once out. It has to be said that Imperiaitself is somewhat traffic-ridden & hectic ... but Locanda del Mar is ahaven of good-taste & restfulness. Don't hesitate to book in here ...no worries!

Review 41：The only downside of the location was a popular bar that was a few doorsdown that had loud music and lots of young adults milling around until2:30am. We were only there for Friday night so I am not sure if thenoise was a regular event.

Review 42：The location is just across from a beachside park with jungle gyms forthe kids. The hotel room was modern and very comfortable and thebreakfast buffet was spectacular - they even had gluten free optionswaiting on the table for us (after noting the allergy in booking).
