Review 1：Would have liked tea and coffee-making facilities in room

Review 2：Location convenient for Pavia railway station. Rooms very nicely decorated, lovely and clean, soft towels, beds very comfortable.

Review 3：Parking was directly in front of the hotel, reserved places on the street. Check in was a quick experience. Later we wanted directions to various tourist sights which were recommended by the staff. Also we asked for a restaurant booking. Everything was carried out effieciently and with a smile.

Review 4：No bad experience but the gym was simply an exercise bike. For the available space the Moderno could install a couple of extra pieces.

Review 5：The staff are very helpful and are not standoffish. Good sized room and good shower. I hadn't realized there was a hot pool downstairs or a mini-gym (no one else had realized either judging by its emptiness). The attached Peo restaurant serves good quality food and prices were not extortionate.

Review 6：Excellent, cheerful staff (in spite of upon hearing my accent switched immediately to English) Accommodations superb- it's a European hotel, which frustrates many Americans as to size, but it's perfect. Great location, especially if you have to catch an early train. Fantastic breakfast. Very clean, and quiet.

Review 15：The hotel has been significantly upgraded since my last stay 9 years ago (and my first stay 30 years ago!). We had a beautiful room with a spacious bathroom and dressing room. The staff were all very polite and helpful. We couldn't fault anything.

Review 44：Very well located, close to train station and main streets; one of the best restaurants of Pavia is now operating in the basement floor of the hotel, with direct access to tha hall: really one of the best restaurants I visited in Italy, that's the best of the hotel... just let Peo (Pompeo, the chef) arrange you your dinner or lunch, you won't regret! Besides, the hotel is a standard one according European standards as building is old and you will not find the latest tehnology inside, but rooms are qute comfortable (besides the lack to fully control temperature: rooms was warmed up and I could decrease temperature below 24°C); bathroom is excellent. The very best hotel in Pavia.
