Reviews for Auberge Saint Remacle

Review 1:It was pretty noisy and the backroom and hallway were very smelly. No water cooker in the room, no remote for the tv and the toilet seat was dirty when we came in. We did not want to even try the breakfast because of the smell.

Review 2:The bed was good and the wifi was decent.

Review 3:Small room, small bathroom, hotel front desk is in back of restaurant/bar.

Review 4:If you want to enjoy the scene, this is the place, with restaurant and bar, and other places steps away.

Review 5:My last visit (2-10-14 to 5-10-14) wasn’t the same experience. On arrival I was escorted to a room that wasn’t connected to the Hotel or Restaurant (I did request if I could change rooms but wasn’t able to). I was then told Breakfast was between 7am-11am. The room was large and ok. First day Breakfast at 8.30am was cheese, ham and bread. No options for anything else. The following two morning I went to breakfast at 7.30am both times the hotel/restaurant was closed and all lights turned off. I was unable to check out of my room because there was no one there so I had to leave my key on the door step.

Review 6:First time I stayed it was perfect everything I could ask for

Review 24:The location was perfect for the GP at Spa. We were pleasantly surprised at how modern and nice the room was.

Review 25:Good atmosphere and friendly place

Review 26:no parking facilities although on street was available if the market wasn't on and spaces left

Review 27:General overall feeling of the place

Review 28:Room 2 is on the first floor, last year we had room on the second floor above this one last year, it was quiet. There is a certain amount of noise from the bar next door (not part of this establishment) that travels up the wall However this stops at midnight.

Review 29:Location on the main street, room had a view over the museum. The food was good value for the money

Review 30:lightweight bed on wheels without headboard - couldn't lean up in bed to read/watch TV

Review 31:Location. Friendly staff. Fresh orange juice. Car park opposite.

Review 32:There was no warm water on arrival. They offered to move us to a different building but we were already unpacked. The next day on the terrace we had to sit for 10 minutes in the exhaust fumes of the diesel-truck who came to fill the heating oil tank.

Review 33:Front room very noisy at night. Music from bar plus cobbled street made any traffic very noisy. Breakfast a bit basic.

Review 34:Excellent location in a very attractive village. My son and I were visiting the Spa race track and it was very well located for that purpose. We only really slept here as we were having fun all day and evening at teh circuit. It was very clean and teh bathrooms all worked well.

Review 35:We were put in the annex away from the hotel which was in a high streetlocation. The rooms bore no resemblance to those pictured. They were ina dark building down a side street up three flights of badly lit narrowstairs very difficult to negotiate with cases. The rooms were dirty, very basic, and poorly furnished with old shabby furniture and frayedmats with old lino. They were barely acceptable to sleep in, and onewould certainly not want to spend any time in the rooms.

Review 36:It was in Stavelot where we needed to be but that is all I can sayon the positive. The food was ok but the rooms were dreadfull. Thebest part was leaving the hotel to find another even if it wasdouble the price.

Review 37:Room became quite hot, even with the windows open.

Review 38:Room was very clean and modern. Bathroom and shower were excellent. Staff were friendly and the location was brilliant.

Review 39:The road being re-built in front of the hotel

Review 40:The whole establishment was clean and tidy, the staff helpfull. The bedroom was on the second floor, had a view over the Museum and we could look at the rolling hills beyond. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy. The bar was old, welcoming, the dining room was tastefully furnished. There was a comprehensive menu, the food was very good. The continental brealfast included boiled eggs, ham and cheese..

Review 41:The annex rooms are basic but clean, however sound proofing is poor.

Review 54:Atmosphere restaurant, general ambience, location

Review 55:Lodging was in annexe and a bit run down. We had problems getting the garage open to retrieve the bikes.

Review 56:Good location in town.
