Review 1：The only down side was that the hotel was a little ways out from the centre of Palermo (half an hours walk) however there is a bus stop opposite the hotel with a direct route to the train station which was very handy.

Review 2：The hotel reception staff were very helpful, and pointed out areas of interest. The room was clean and tidy.

Review 3：Wearing a bathingcap in the pool was the most annoying. As a holiday destination this is not what consumers want. Front desk staff were horrible but dining staff were great

Review 5：Rude and indifferent staff, really dated decor (bad 3 star no way a 4star hotel), overcrowded pool area and can not use pool unless you havea swimming cap?! Wifi didn't work in our room and we were one of thelower floors. The area around the hotel is high rise, dilapidated flatsso no walking out for dinner. Breakfast was a disaster - it was a freefor all, no tables left set up by 9am so had to hunt for cutlery and amug. Staff were just clearing tables and not setting any of them up orhelping the guests find places to sit. Overall one of the worst, mostdepressing hotels I have ever stayed in.

Review 7：The ocean is close, but that's the dirtiest beach I've ever been. The area has many car mechanic garages and fish market stalls. It's surely not what you expect as a tourist. You should also know, that there's nothing to do around the hotel after 9 pm. You have to walk at least 20 minutes to reach the edge of the downtown.

Review 8：The hotel itself is wonderful, if you don't want to go out to the city, it's perfect. It has a unique view to the sea from the 14th floor, and it even has a nice pool there, with sunbeds and a cocktail bar which opens after 3 pm.

Review 9：I was a bit surprised to not see any natural fruits or juices for breakfast, considering we are in a place were watermelons are sold on the street for 50cents/kg. The juice was a sugary disgusting beverage and the fruits were canned. The rest of the food was good. The location isnt so good either, the neighborhood is not very welcoming.

Review 10：Rooms were nice and clean, the air conditioning saved my life. The pool is pretty cool as well, there are nice views of the sea. The staff was also nice to us.

However it's a bit strange that the hotel requires you to buy a swimming cap for €2 - it's compulsory for people with long hair to wear one in the pool. When everyone else is wearing one it's not too bad, just a little annoying. Also breakfast wasn't great. Not a very good buffer selection, no fresh fruit - all canned

Review 12：Most other reviews of this hotel were not very good so I was anxious about my stay. However, I did not find staff to be unfriendly at all, they were all very helpful and accommodating. The hotel feels far from the centre when you walk but that's just because of the heat! It's actually not far and there is a bus stop just outside with 4 different buses that will get you into the centre in about 5 mins. Room was good and spacious, air con worked well. Thumbs up.

Review 13：We had to buy a cap for the swimming pool (just 2 euro's though, but still annoying), location was not so interesting, especially if you don't have a car, the area was a bit sketchy. Airconditioning was very noisy.

Review 27：Bad location and lack of driving directions. We arrived at Palermo at8pm and it was a nightmare to get to the hotel. The location is awful,a very dark place, without comerce nearby, if you want to go to arestaurant at dinner you must have a car, otherwise walking seams verydangerous. The staff is very unpleasant, specially during thebreakfast. The breakfast is very poor, all the fruit was canned, thehot bevarages are instant and tast badly. A very very bad breakfast.The hotel management policies are very inflexible, we had to changeour plans and tried to cancel the last two days. We speak with thehotel at least 3 days before, which is a good timeframe for them toprovide the cancelation, and the hotel doens't allow thecancelation. So, pay special attention to your reservation, oncebooked with this hotel you cannot change anything else anymore. InShort, stay away from this hotel.

The website also stated they have free bicycles for guest to use. When wearrived they did not know anything about bicycles. The hotel does nothave complimentary transportation to/from train station. The Taxiovercharged us from train station to hotel. Was disappointed in thecoast and beach. Not very pretty.

Internet did not work and staff initially tried to blame problems of my computer later realising that it was their system that failed. Locals and staff alike did not recommend walking to and out of the hotel after dark as the area was not safe (we did and nothing happened). Hotel location is off, with small industries around and busy street in front. Breakfast is OK as is hotels restaurant. View from the rooftop swimming pool was fantastic, but in order to enter the pool you need a bathing cap! Swimming pool is closed in the middle of the day.
