Review 4:nothing
Review 5:gracious, helpful staff; great location close to the ocean and town market; excellent breakfast included; very quiet off private road; excellent restaurants within walking distance
Review 6:The Wifi ,but Imperia does not have high speed internet anywhere as it is a very old Italian seaside town..Good place to escape for holiday with little distractions.
Review 7:The Staff are all friendly and helpful.Rooms are cleaned everyday in a very professional way.
Review 8:The beds are a little hard for our aging bodies - mattress pads would help. For first time visitors it could be a difficult to find....maybe that's an advantage?

Review 14:Excellent value for money. A good balance of a traditional family hotel and modern facilities. Helpful staff. Room was clean and all facilities worked well. Nice powerful shower. A fine location for the Beach/Resteraunts/Port.
Review 15:Nothing at all
Review 16:Location was excellent to discover the Riviera Italiana. Very clean and staff very helpful. Breakfast was quite good. Car is essential and parking is taking care of by the nice staff.
Review 17:Nothing.
Review 18:Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. If you have a car they park it for you. they also told us about the local market on Saturday about 2 km walk but which was a lot of fun. Breakfast was excellent. We can highly recommend this hotel.
Review 19:The shower was a dribble if one wanted hot water and the pillow was rather insubstantial, as are the towels (although spotlessly white)
Review 20:Staff friendly, room clean and practical, well located, nice breakfast and general good feel to the hotel
Review 21:Breakfast could improve. Bed was a little too hard

Review 33:Private parking and location,Wifi Imperia is one of those coastal villages that many drive past, but was classically italian.
Review 34:It was all good. No complaints
Review 35:The location, staff and breakfast.
Review 36:I was welcomed and nothing was too much trouble. For instance I wished to hire bicycles. They were there ready when I required them.
Review 37:Finding the hotel. Our GPS had difficulty locating the address. Detail map required
Review 38:The location is excellent, the staff very friendly & helpful
Review 39:Nem volt ilyen.
Review 40:Kellemes, komfortos hely, gyönyörű tengerpart, jó ételek. Közel Monaco és egyéb látványosságok.
Review 41:very good location, nice personal,
Review 42:Narrow street to the hotel
Review 43:Location is good. Staff very friendly and helpful. Good breakfast.
Review 44:perfect staff, rooms, breakfast and etc. Super!
Review 45:Not so easy to find even with navigation. I suggest to call the reception and ask for more info...
Review 46:Well kept family hotel, extremely friendly staff, nice breakfast on a small covered terrace, lovely, clean room. Good choice for passing through travelers due to easy access from the motorway, as well as for those who wish to stay longer and enjoy the town beach.
Review 47:Can't really dislike anything about this hotel.
Review 48:Reading the other reviews I was a little worried about finding the hotel but I needn't have been. They sent a map via email which explained perfectly how to find the hotel. Not difficult. Service was great, staff were efficient and friendly. Great view from the balcony.
Review 49:A bit difficult to find, mainly due to present street repair work.
Review 50:Hotel run by two friendly and helpful brothers, who speak several languages fluently. Breakfast better than the normal Italian standard.
Review 51:First drive up to the hotel a bit daunting (narrow, winding and last short stretch rather steep) complicated by municipal road works (which should have been completed in March) causing a route deviation, Had no anxiety subsequent drives.
Review 52:A family hotel. Only had to drive to the hotel door and the car was then taken & parked for you & brought back when required. The owners were not only very kind and hospitable, but also went out of their way to assist us beyond measure.
Review 53:Would have preferred an extra softer pillow but I am sure if we had asked they would have provided one.
Review 54:The staff were superb; they couldn't have been friendlier or more helpul. Made us feel so welcome. Love that they park the car for you. Beautiful room with pretty view. Great shower and nice that toiletries are provided and a hairdryer. Excellent location for strolling down to the local restaurants and the marina. Fantastic breakfast. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends.
Review 55:WiFi does a dns hijack to insert ads into the webpages you view, that's annoying and not all the web sites open.
Review 56:Very friendly staff. Parking was not that difficult compared to what Iwas expecting after reading the other reviews.
Review 57:The pillows on the bed could be a bit softer.
Review 58:The front of house staff, Luca and his brother Marco couldn't have been friendlier or more helpful. We were welcomed as if we were long-lost friends and made to feel so welcome. We loved the pretty room and the delightful, though limited view of the harbour from the balcony. Superb breakfast and very nicely priced drinks from the bar too. We recommend the Aperol spritzer and Amaro Montenegro for a truly Italian flavour.
Review 59:Hair raising car journey to and from the car parking area at the back, though staff park it when you get there.
Review 60:Staff were really charming and helpful.
Review 61:Hair dryer in our room was rather useless. Only one pillow each, though they happily supplied us with extra pillows. Tortuous road to the car park!
Review 62:Family-run hotel with charming young brothers as front staff. Helpful and witty, speaking excellent English. Lots of comfy seating areas well set out. Nice view from our balcony. Hotel recently refurbished. Free parking.
Review 63:Great hotel. Would definitely stay there again. Friendly, helpful staff. Spotlessly clean. Also my teenage son says good, reliable Internet connection!
Review 64:Friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Quite location just a few mins walk to the harbour. We stayed here as a stop over. It is 15mins from the motorway and the hotel emailed me directions so it was easy to find. We liked it so much we stayed again on our way home.
Review 65:No negative comments.
Review 66:The Hotel Ariston was a perfect stop over for 3 couples on our traintrip from Avignon to the Cinque Terre in late September. It is a small, family run hotel in a quiet area that is a few minutes walk to theharbor/beaches and many restaurants. The brother managing the frontdesk was a delight and could not have been friendlier or more helpful.Very good English. You can walk to the hotel from the Imperia PortoMaurizio train station in less than 10 minutes, but if you need a taxi,a call to the hotel got one quickly sent over to pick us up. Our roomswere exactly as shown on the internet--basic but very comfortable withsmall balconies with chairs and a table where you could sit and view theharbor and ocean. (The view included an amazing thunder and lightningstorm later in the evening.) Great shower and very clean bathrooms. Themanager provided a recommendation for a nearby restaurant that hadexcellent food at reasonably prices. Breakfast was a good buffetassortment to start the day. Imperia Porto Maurizio itself turned out tobe an interesting place that deserved more than one night; hopefully wewill be able to return someday and stay longer. For the money, thishotel is an excellent value.
Review 67:The access to the hotel is very difficult, up a very steep and narrow road - not ideal if you want to use your car to go sight-seeing ! The bedroom, although comfortable was quite small- OK for one night , but not for much longer. The balcony looked out over the entrance to the wall beyond !
Review 68:The staff were very helpful, the hotel is well furnished , and the breakfast was excellent. It was very easy to walk to the restaurants in the harbour area.
Review 69:Very comfortable hotel. Very helpful staff. Good position between marina and old town. One really nice touch was the provision of umbrellas for guests in hotel entrance.
Review 70:when I have to mention something then the narrow streets to reach the hotel
Review 71:friendly good english speaking brothers who run the family hotel...nice rooms.. good breakfast on the terras... parking is free...
Review 72:None
Review 73:Being an expirienced tourist, I'd like to say that Hotel Ariston isone of the best hotels I had stayed in. Handsome staff was socommunicable and highly helpful in planning our voyage in the country, doing it almostly better than any tourist agency I've seen. Hotelwas clean and comfortable, the atmosphere was nearly as at home, perfectly placed near bus, train stations and the seashore. Great thanksfor nice weekend and good luck.
Review 74:Our stay at Ariston really made our vacation. The receptionists were friendly and helpful in our day to planning. The breakfast was impressive and it was relaxing eating on the terrass. We are already dreaming about coming back.
Review 75:Strange place for shower - in the centre of the bath, you have to pay to get a small fridge in your room.
Review 76:Very friendly staff, clean and nice rooms, 5-7 minutes away from the sea, good breakfast.
Review 77:The hotel itself was hard to find (situated at the end of very small andnarrow street), but the map sent helped. This was only minor problemcompared to very excellent hotel!
Review 78:Perfect and quiet location between the sea and the old town! Excellentand very welcoming service: they even emailed us map beforehand when weasked parking possibilities (and parking was very well organised). Cleanroom, good breakfast. Good restaurants nearby.
Review 79:Nothing
Review 80:Great location, very good and clean rooms. Nice town. Close to the beachand lots of nice restaurants around. But you do not hear the noise inthe rooms (which is great for italy). Very helpful staff.
Review 81:The shower screen in our bathroom was coming away from the wall but as we were only there one night, it wasn't much bother.
Review 82:The staff were really friendly and welcoming, and perhaps because we were backpackers with huge rucksacks on a hot day they even gave us some bottled water to take with us when we checked out which was a really small but hugely appreciated gesture. Breakfast was wonderful - the best brioche we've eaten in Italy (and we've sampled a fair few!), homemade pear jam, cakes, fresh fruit etc. The room was basic but comfortable, and the location perfect for easy access to the beaches and up in to the historic town.
Review 83:Unable to find fault with anything. Family run hotel who take great pride in their business and make everyone feel very welcome and special. Carry your luggage, park your car. Rooms absolutely spotless (ours was a budget room. last room available). It was quite large, well decorated and quiet. Would go here again, one of best hotels we have stayed at.
Review 84:The parking is very complicated, in fact they park the car for you because there's no space so quite a hassle. Also hard to reach from the main roads.
Review 85:The staff are absolutely adorable! It's family run and they are extremely friendly and helpful, speaking perfect English and a few other languages. You feel really taken care of. Free wifi.
Review 86:I had no problems
Review 87:This is a family run hotel where the family and staff couldn't have been more helpful. The room was clean and the bonus was free parking. It was close to the old town.
Review 88:Nothing - everything was excellent!
Review 89:- Good customer service ( even noticed it was my wife's birthday upon arrival and offered us a free drink ). - offered good advice re good restaurants nearby - nothing was too much trouble
Review 90:Room was extremely cold in October, around or under 20 C and they only provided some thin blankets. No bathtub in the triplebed room, only shower. Thin walls, and cleaning staff started to vacuum at 7 am Sunday morning! It was very disturbing.
Review 91:Very friendly language speaking staff. Proximity of the beach, however NO beach services off season (October). Quiet location.
Review 92:Hot water to the shower took a few minutes but once the water was warm, it wasn't an issue.
Review 93:The location was very good. Only a few minutes walk to the marina. The staff were absolutely lovely and the breakfast overwhelming. Parking on site and would highly recommend a stay at the hotel. Many restaurants within minutes walk to choose from.
Review 94:There was nothing of any significance that we disliked about the hotel. If all holiday hotels I book in the future will be as good as this Iwill be delighted,
Review 95:We liked everything about this hotel. It was immaculatey maintained andcleaned. It was comfortable and the food and service were excellent. Itis a family run hotel and several of the staff are members of thefamily. They really do care about their guests. Almost certainly themost friendly and helpful people I have encountered running a hotel.English, German and French arre spoken by the staff and they are veryhelpful with advice on what to see and do in the area, I can't recall amore flawless stay in a hotel and I dearly hope that I will have theopportunity to return some day.
Review 96:Wonderful 'family-run' hotel feel. Room was large, comfortable and exactly as the picture showed. Our balcony looked right out over the houses onto the harbour. Hotel staff spoke perfect english and were very helpful in showing us the room and finding a fabulous restaurant for dinner. A confirmation email came from the hotel as well after booking and included a map on getting to the private parking area - which was a feat in itself (don't trust your sat-nav, follow the map they send). Breakfast on the veranda was great and included homemade jams, baking and the usual (meat/cheese/bread/spreads). Not located right on the beach, but we were passing through the town, so this wasn't a need for us.
Review 97:Cannot find anything to complain about at all
Review 98:Very clean.Friendly staff at all times. Close to the beach. Cool on hot days due to a nice breeze. Very quiet.
Review 99:The hotel is typically old fashioned Italian with a homely feel, when you stand on your balcony looking out to the sea you also have a view of lovely old houses then the harbour, beautiful we immediatley relaxed after a long drive. The car park is not the easiest to find and we drove around until we parked up and my husband walked to find the Hotel where a very helpful young man came to our (large Ford truck) and took us to the Hotel quite narrow roads but we managed. Hotel reception recommended a very nice restaurant to eat in the square which was great and we probably wouldn't have eaten there otherwise as dining is in the back private garden so unless you know you would pass by. Breakfast was very nice plenty of it, we were the only Brits that I could see mostly Italians that I could make out and that suited us just fine. Only stayed one night will stay longer next time.
Review 100:The hotel was very clean and the staff very friendly. We did specify that we wanted seaview, and I would recommend others to do so. In general Imperia has had better years. The town is a bit worn but there are some good restaurants.
Review 101:Our room was well appointed but we would have liked a better view fromour balcony. This, however,is a minor point as everything else was great.
Review 102:Staff at the hotel were extremely welcoming and helpful. Theprofessional, yet friendly approach, impressed us greatly. Nothing wastoo much trouble and each request was greeted with a smile. Staff onreception were very knowledgeable about the local area and recommended agreat restaurant for dinner. Their English was impeccable so we gave uptrying to stumble through in Italian. This is a family run hotel and thestaff take a pride in their jobs.We met Granny sweeping the receptionarea. The hotel is very well located and we will stay here whenever wevisit the area. It's a gem.
Review 103:A bit hard to find.
Review 104:Big and comfortable room. The hotel nicely located. Good buffetbreakfast. Staff helpful and attentive. Would recommend withouthesitation
Review 105:Cool, clean, central - the hotel more than served our purpose enroute to the Cote d'Azur. Secure car parking was a great relief to us. Most helpful and friendly management team.
Review 106:The staff were extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble. They spoke excellent English as well. They allowed us back after checking out to have a shower and collect our luggage before heading back to the airport. A very pleasant and comfortable stay. We will definitely use them again if we are working there and recommend them.
Review 107:No fridge/mini bar to store food/drinks
Review 108:The staff were extremely friendly, hotel clean, great selection for breakfast and easy location to the port/sea/restaurants.
Review 109:Every thing was excelle , nothing to dislike.
Review 110:Breakfast.
Review 111:TV without signal, basic level of linen and towels.
Review 112:Location and staff friendliness.
Review 113:Great service by friendly staff. Family run hotel with charm and good breakfast.
Review 114:Shower pressure a bit weak and limited hot water.
Review 115:Close to town amenities. Nice general environment and well run family business.
Review 116:Hotel was great! Great stuff!
Review 117:Old fashioned Not so comfortable No drinks in the room
Review 118:The hotel is very nice and clean. It is very confortable.
Review 119:Very nice hotell, clean and well kept. Friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast.
Review 120:Difficult to drive install first
Review 121:Extremely clean and beautiful location
Review 122:very difficult to find
Review 123:great staff good breakfast free wifi
