Review 1：Very few dining options on the island.
Review 2：Great location right on the beach. The property provides basic, but very clean and comfortable accommodation. Excellent home-made breakfast and dinner right on the beach. Staff was very attentive and smiling all the time, answered to all our needs and requirements. Will definitely visit Batuta again!

Review 5：The running water was a little salty, the WIFI signal was not stable to connect Internet and there were just two restaurants in this island. But it was a wonderful island to take photo without disturbing indeed.
Review 6：The host was very friendly and he called a truck to take us to the hotel when we arrived and took us to the ferry as well when we left this island. At breakfast we can have fresh juice and bread, the chocolate jam taste good! This island was not large and we can cover it within one morning. I think in this hotel you can enjoy the most beautiful scenery at this island and we took lots of photo. The wind was strong and it was suitable for surfing.

Review 9：Ramadan meant we couldn't get our ferry and had to hire a much more expensive speedboat.
Review 10：The proximity to the beach was amazing, 5 metres! The food was delightful, Fatima cooked some lovely good. The staff were very nice and understanding when we turned up with no cash as a result of not being able to withdraw any money cos of Ramadan. Showed the best way to get to cokes as well.

Review 22：A very quite town with not much going on that you could take things easy. Staffs are very friendly and warm.The place is so calm and quite just a walk away from the beach. A place you could just lay back and enjoy the peaceful and quite atmosphere. A must getaway from a typical busy city life. Keep it up guys!

Review 25：We ordered a speedboat which came late and the operator told us different price than was agreed. He had two different excuses, but after long discussion we finished on the agreed price. Therefore it made us unpleasant for couple hours.
Review 26：The staff was the best I have ever seen. They were very keen. We had one of the best dinner ever. Guest house is straight on the beach so we were chilling in front of the hotel almost whole day. I definitely recommend this hotel for relaxation. It is worth it.

Review 29：An amazing guest house in a really beautiful place. The rooms are nice, clean and spacious. The staff is extremely friendly, but not tiresome, and attends even your non-standard needs. The chef cannot be praised enough - different meal every day, each of them absolutely delicious and served right at the beach with nothing but water and palm trees around you. The owner cares very much about the satisfaction of each and every guest, what you can feel every single moment of your stay.

Review 31：Great Tourist Guest House with very friendly and helpful personel ! verygood food for me (can be to spicy for Europeans but you can order smth.Else) Local people are awesome and smiling all the time ! Pleaseremember that Batuta is not a luxury hotel. It's very quiet andpeaceful place where you can fishing, snorkling, sun bathing, biking(for free), walking, visiting, playing games with local, etc.

The Fine Print
The local ferry runs on all days except Tuesday. The ferry departs Male at 3 pm from Stadium Jetty in Male and takes 1.5 hours. The return ride departs Thulusdhoo at 7:30 am and arrives at Male at 9 am. Ferry charges apply.Speed boat transportation upon flight arrival are also available an extra cost, depending on weather conditions. This cost can be shared between the arriving guests. Guests arriving and departing on Saturdays can minimize the transportation costs. Advance reservation is required for speedboat transportation and should be indicated under Special Request during hotel booking.Payments are accepted in USD and EUR only. Credit Card facility is not available at the hotel.Wearing a bikini in the public areas of the island is illegal by law.
