Reviews for Hotel Dolores
Review 1:A bit expensive.
Review 2:Well-furnished room (tea, coffee) with excellent breakfast served on the room. Walking distance to the beach and sunset bar. Quiet, clean.
Review 3:Shower in the bathroom was broken but changed quickly. The living / sitting space is very very small. Typical Dutch breakfast with lots of bread. No hot food such as omlet, bacon, etc
Review 4:Comfortable bed and good linens.
Review 5:We definitely didn't like leaving, and would have stayed longer, but couldn't get a later ferrry booking to the mainland.
Review 6:The staff took endless trouble to help us and make our stay agreeable. Delightful, quiet, comfortable room, delicious breakfast included in price, great quality altogether. Highly recommended.
Review 7:No heating control.
Review 8:Coffee machine, fridge and kettle in the room. German and English tv channels. Breakfast delivered to your door so no need to get up and dressed for a certain time. Nice big balcony.
Review 9:We really missed a roofed in bike shed with a lock.
Review 10:Large and warm rooms, very friendly staff good food in the restaurant nice breakfast in a basket.
Review 11:We travelled to Ameland for a sport tournament and no matter how'most wanted' were the dates of that weekend, 225 euro for twonight is totally not proportioned to the value of the room. Breakfaat isserved in the bedroom in baskets left out of the door (no service coststhen) and consists of bread & some jam / ham in packs (no freshfood but for some fruits). Over 100 euro's per night for a nice butnot superb room in a hotel at 10' from the beach is far too much.
Review 12:I went to this hotel for the second time and enjoyed the location, spacious and renewed room and cleanness. Excellent for cycling to thebeach and for enjoying some quietness at the end of the day. Breakfastis served in the room, where one can prepare free coffee and tea all daylong. The bed was very comfy.
Review 13:Just that morning the warm water of the shower did not work..
Review 14:The location and the furniture in the rooms also a perfect breakfast
Review 15:everything, very nice facilities, more than expected for 3 stars. Finish sauna in the garden as well. Breakfast was much more than expected - everything really fresh and tasty
Review 16:-view from terrace isn't great (but nice nevertheless)
Review 17:+spacious room +nice division between seating on lower floor and bed on mezzanine floor +great coffee machine +clean
Review 18:There was truly nothing that I did not like
Review 19:The amazing room and bathroom; the coffee machine; the breakfasts; always had parking right outside; the restaurant; the decor; the view from our balcony; the place the hotel is situated...
Review 20:No hair dryer on bathroom, very small TV
Review 21:Privacy, espresso machine on room, private terrace, generous breakfast basket delivered to your room, very tidy hotel, good service and friendly staff.
Review 22:The only minor issue was that the Sauna wasn't very hot, but could be related that it wasn't turned fully on.
Review 23:Not much I didn't like. Excellent people working there which made every minor thing resolved within no time.
Review 24:It would have been good to have an extra light above the "dining" table. It was now a bit dark in the evening. It would have been easy to have a mirror in the bedroom; now we (my girlfriend) had to go downstairs.
Review 25:We had a studio with balcony. It was good and clean. Breakfast was good and more than enough. Hotel is located in the centre of the beautiful village; walking distance from the shops and restaurants.
Review 26:Europeans eat breakfast too late for my liking. I usually eat at 0530, but I have learned to adapt as my wife doesn't seem to mind late breakfast. So I eat or drink something, go out for my morning chores and comeback for breakfast later. You may have noticed that I ate everything.
Review 27:I liked the sleeping loft. I tend to like lofts or maybe that's bats in bellfries.
Review 28:The hallways are a bit clinical, as is the outside of the building and the entrance. But so many hotels have a great lobby and bad beds, or bad coffee, it didn't bother me, the value was put in the things you use, not in glamour.
Review 29:Clean good size room with a separate mezzanine where there was an excellent, big, comfortable and clean bed. Good clean bathroom, no bath but a great shower. No night service, but who needs that on Ameland, and you get the key. Location in the tiny village (Hollum is not part of Lord of the Rings :D) is perfect, and there are some good restaurants very near, the bike rental is next door. Breakfast gets delivered to your room and is fine, great coffee from your own nespresso machine is good in the morning. Ameland is beautiful, quiet, windy and green in may.
Review 30:Poor internet connection
Review 31:Nice breakfast basket Good Sauna Friendly staff
Review 32:breakfast in the room no bikes available for guests
Review 33:nice rooms comfy beds.
