Reviews for Agriturismo Relais Campiglioni

Review 1:looked better on WEB, to far from City. no home-made bread for breakfast, and nothing to eat latter. for nearest restorant you have to drive back to City.

Review 2:pool area is great, very peacfull place.

Review 3:we had to share the pool with the manager's 20 year old friends (and we had to give up the Jacuzzi); poor breakfast (no yoghurt), only until 10; early check out at 10.30 AM, no possibility of late check out; unfriendly and impolite manager; the place is potentially very nice but it definitely needs to be managed in a different way.

Review 4:nice location

Review 5:WiFi connection does not meet the modern standards. It is much too slow and keeps going down. The air conditioning comes as a supplement (15€ per day).

Review 6:We had a tremendous stay at Campiglioni. The place was very nice and comfortable. The owners run it as a small family business headed by the grandmother – “la nonna” – and managed by the grandson, Nicola, together with the grandfather Ruggiero, their collaborator Cynthia and a few other people. All of them were friendly, welcoming, and put a lot of efforts into making you feel good and relax. We have 3 small kids. We particularly appreciated the autonomy given by the combination of an independent house with enough space for the children, the open restaurant and the big garden where the kids could play without disturbing the other guests, while we were having dinner or just a glass of their home-made wine. More comfortable than a house, more flexible than a hotel, this combination was just perfect for us. They cook dinner 3 times a week. It’s cheap, the atmosphere is friendly and the food is decent. The other days, you may either cook for yourself, have a snack at the restaurant (ham, cheese, etc) or enjoy one of the many great restaurants in the area. We warmly recommend the place, either for a weekend or for weeks!

Review 7:The family is wonderful. A mother and son run the property and they did everything to make us feel at home. Free parking, wifi, large rooms, delicious breakfast and one block from the beach. You can't ask for anything better. Restaurants are just minutes away and the train station is a short 15 minute walk from the hotel. We will return to this location in the future.

Review 8:air conditioning worked, but it could have been better. no refills on toiletries. no tissues or spare roll of toilet paper.

Review 9:very friendly owner and staff, Nona's cooking was wonderful. extremely beautiful grounds. relaxing and tranquil. pool was wonderful as we stayed during a very hot spell. great blow dryer,

Review 10:The breakfast is really small (no egg) but you only pay 7 euro per person. The big rooms have there own kitchen, so if you want you can make your own. We really would recommend this place!

Review 11:The location is perfect en it is really quite there so you can come to rest. The staff is friendly and the swimmingpool is fantastic and a lot of space. The lady of the house (72 years Old) likes to cook twice a week a fantastic dinner. The rooms are clean, the bed is a bit hard but it is common at a agriturismo!

Review 12:We had a fantastic stay here. The owners are very friendly people and will do anything to make you feel at home. The gardens and pools are well maintained and look good.

Review 13:the delicious cakes made by the grandma. I liked the breakfast house near the pool with an amazing view, farm animals included.

Review 14:Very friendly staff, one of the most beautiful borgo/relais where we have been, kids pool, gorgeous panoramic views,...

Review 15:Poor WIFI Reception in room

Review 16:Location Nice rooms Swimming pool area

Review 17:Great apartment! After 3 days in Florence we were looking for a relaxing place in Tuscany, this is definitely a relaxing environment. We were well looked after, given a bottle of their wine and breakfast was excellent also. Also enjoyed the resident cats & dog :)

Review 18:very nice hotel, surrounded by olive trees, not so eay to find but worth to seek it out. stuffs are very friendly, the small dog is really cute. I will go again when I visit this city next time

Review 19:The road to Campiglioni is a little rough and uneven, but this is not Campiglioni's fault and it is clearly stated.

Review 20:Very relaxing place. Clean and well mantained. We liked the extensive use of plants and flowers as decorations. The staff is great, kind and ready. They also offer on demand lunch and dinner, all made of fresh ingredients usually grown on site (vegetables). The Breakfast is awesome as they offer handmade pastries!!

Review 21:This Place lies about 1 km from the main road. which means a long drive on dirt road. Their price Level is higher than other similar Places we stayed at in Tuscany.

Review 22:Very friendly host Family, but they could benefit from upgrading knowledge of English.

Review 23:I wish the windows had screens so that we could have left the windows open for a breeze

Review 24:We enjoyed our stay with our 1 1/2 year old. The staff is very friendly and speaks some English. The dinner was amazing!

Review 25:The rooms were cleaned but items were not restocked, such as soap and shampoo. Also didn't seem as if the rooms were swept or vacuumed.

Review 26:The staff was friendly. The grounds were nice along with the pool. Breakfast was good as well. Homemade baked goods were very nice.

Review 27:Not so easy to reach with the GPS since the unpaved road is not present

Review 28:Location fantastic, spent a lovely morning in the swimming pool with my daughter.

Review 29:breakfasts coul'd be better, still it's not like you're gonna starve to death ;)

Review 30:the silence - while laying by the poolside one can really forget that there's a real world out there. Whole place is beautiful, also you can tell owners have seen some nice hotels - everything is 4-stars-hotel-like. Still - some old furnitures will let you feal some true Tuscany ;)

Review 31:Nothing

Review 32:I really enjoyed hanging out by the pool by day and eating dinner there at night. We didn't want to have to drive and it was nice to have that option.

Review 33:It was a great experience. The staff speaks just enough English to be able to understand each other, the family that runs the business was super friendly, welcoming and helfpul in any way they could. They offered us an amazing breakfast next morning. The place is great for relaxing away from city noise. There is not much going on there but there is a lot of nature, great views and wonderful wine.

Review 34:No food available other than breakfast

Review 35:Lovely location

Review 36:The friendly, helpful and relaxed attitude of the staff made our one night stay very enjoyable after a long day travelling from Cornwall, UK
