Review 1：overall the hotel needs a renovation, dirty carpets all over and in our room there was old water damage, cracks in the ceiling and so much noise, at 6am because of cleaning the pool . Also the noise from other guests is unacceptable every step or use of toilet is heard.

Review 3：I spent 2 week at Amelader Kaap - the first week on my own, the second week my wife joined me as a surprise - and I enjoyed every minute at this hotel, a quiet oasis right outside the picturesque town of Hollum, 1 km to the lighthouse and 2 km to the breathtaking beaches. The room - a corner room on the 3rd floor - was just awesome: very large, with a comfortable double bed, a sitting area with a big sofa, and still enough space to feel comfortable. Flat screen TV, free WiFi, and - as a special "treat" - I could watch the sunrise through one window, and the sunset over the trees and the lighthouse through the other. The indoor pool full of light, wide enough to swim (opening at 9.00 a.m.), and a breakfast buffet that left nothing to be desired. The staff at the reception desk and in the restaurant were extremely friendly and helpful with all my requests. And, last not least, good value for money: my wife didn't even have to pay extra for room and breakfast.

Review 4：We asked for a later check out for about 11.00-ish as we used the sauna after breakfast and we wanted to keep pur stuff in the room. Inspite of having spent quite some money in the hotel, the late check out was not granted.

Review 16：Dated look and feel. It really feels like an 80-90's hotel. No design whatsoever. Bathroom dated as well. Kitchen wasn't very clean (fridge and glasses smelt old and funny.
