Reviews for Herberg de Compagnie
Review 1:The staff was wonderful, very kind and accommodating. They ask that you pay upon checking in. I did then elected to depart one night early to be closer to the airport for an early morning flight, and they promptly refunded me for the last night. The area is beautiful and centrally located for a nice scenic run.
Review 2:We couldn't get the air con to work.
Review 3:The hotel has a pub downstairs with a huge selection of beers from all over the world. The food was nice too. Situated just next to the harbor and a 3 minutes stroll from the nice centre. Also just next to the boat stop to the Zuidersee museum.
Review 4:Nothing
Review 5:The location is perfect. Love the tulips in my room. Very cool pub with friendly stuffs and a great selection of beer. Love the Lentebier. Breakfast was good. I enjoy my stay very much.
Review 6:No hairdryer..eek! Also lighting in bathroom was subdued and not easy to put on makeup . No mirror in bedroom or any full length mirror in the rooms. Couldn't understand the TV controls at all. Guidance book would have been helpful
Review 7:Food was excellent. Good continental breakfast lots of choice and fresh ingredients
Review 8:Good restaurant.
Review 9:Airco was present but not working. It was a warm night and a working airco would have made our stay much more pleasurable.
Review 10:Location
Review 11:Great sailing seaport town. Very relaxed atmosphere and accommodating staff.
Review 12:The view of the harbour. The plentiful breakfast. The quiet, crime free and beautiful Enkhuizen. The friendly owners.
Review 13:hotel open at 9 am, no service before that
Review 14:very cooperative staff
Review 15:Fantastic location, wish I'd had some time to explore. Booked breakfast on the Saturday morning, but no one showed to help out.
Review 16:bits smelly in room. We couldn't find where it came from...
Review 17:spacious room.
Review 18:Wifi not easy for some reason, probably my fault thought.
Review 19:Everything, especially the spa bath.
Review 20:Very welcoming and nice owner. very big television
Review 21:Lots of parking at the station, some distance away
Review 22:Everything and every buddy were very nice. No issues. Good hot breakfast.
Review 23:There was no hair dryer in the room, though we were told that one would be purchased soon.
Review 24:The Herberg de Compagnie was well located and an easy ten minute walk to the Zuiderzee Museum, which (unless yore an avid boat person) is the main reason most people visit this town. The room/bathroom was very modern and comfortable, with a number of personal and tasteful/aesthetic touches in the décor. Breakfast, made to order, was served in the attached pub/restaurant by a warm and wonderful woman… sorry, I did not get her name… who voluntarily hosts international tourists several times a week in her home, to serve tea and cake and talk about the Dutch way of life, to teach them about Enkhuizen and exchange ideas about the world. After we finished our more than adequate breakfast, we mentioned to her that we wanted to make sandwiches out of the remainder to take with us for the day. She pleasantly and easily accommodated us by providing packing materials and a bag in which to carry them without even having to ask.
Review 25:Breakfast time has to be decided the night before and if you dare arrive earlier, you can forget about any service until the time specified before. Breakfast lady was unfriendly and incapable of coping.
Review 26:Great location. Free parking nearby at train station. Good food in restaurant. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable but compared to the rest of Holland, a little expensive for what you get.
Review 27:Good location with friendly and helpful staff, excellent food and 86 different beers!
Review 28:A great place to stay and having that feeling to be really in Holland!!!Beautiful and worth to come back again and again....
