Review 1：The balcony wasn't clean, very dusty. The hardwood floors weren't exactly in great shape and a little dirty. We thought the pool would be heated, it was freezing cold.

Review 3：First of all wen are talking about a 5 stars hotels we should not mention oryx at all Poor of services starting from reservation to food quality, room cleaning, furniture, very slow with orders and some orders will not received , even my baby child was sleeping one the ground because there is no baby bed even the way of dealing with costumers they need to bee trained how to respect the people … ets Sorry to tell this is the first and last time for oryx hotel Nothing good to say about it

Review 5：Staff dont honour what they say. Management doesnt make sure things get done as requested. Took 5 hours to get an extra bed. Floors in room and balcony were very dirty.

Review 6：Great value for money, cheerful, pleasant and helpful staff, excellent facilities, great discount on a private beach (Berenice), just address Ms. Farah (the concierge) about any issue you have and don't worry about anything.

Review 7：The room was not clean when we arrived; the toilet seat was ravaged with dirt and the sofa bed had leaves (presumably from when the window was open) and dark brown stains all over it, rendering it unusable. The staff was disorganized and this led to a lot of confusion. A receptionist told us that the free tickets for their private beach encompassed both days for our stay, but on the 2nd day the two receptionists frevelently denied such claims and stated that we must pay $7 for each ticket for the second day. After an hour of arguing and making phone calls, the receptionists finally agreed to give us the 2nd day tickets free of charge. Two receptionists told us that their private beach closes at 7, only for us to arrive there and realize it actually closes at 6.

Review 8：We thoroughly enjoyed the free breakfast and the complementary minibar. The air conditioning in the room was superb and the view from the room, which overlooked the pool, was not half bad.

Review 13：Obviously you are not targeting specific guests segments and the low prices offerd to the groups brought to the hotel cheap quality of guests who didn't respect the others and I had very bad exexperience during my stay because of that.

Review 14：There wasn't an information directory in the rooms which would have been useful. e.g. room service menus, information about the spa etc.

Review 15：I liked the fact that they let us stay in the room until our taxi arrived free of charge. The staff were incredibly polite and helpful. Although a bit out of the centre of town, it was nice to be away from the crowds in the late evenings. It was nice to have free wi-fi in a five star.

Review 18：The bathroom leaked like a faucet from the ceiling, through a light fitting. We could not use the bathroom. We did not receive any help from the day manager, the only suggestion he could offer was that we use another bathroom. The parking was under maintenance so we had to park on the street and the concierge refused to take our luggage to the car. We ended up carrying our own luggage. The kettle in the room has a plug that does not fit into the wall socket. I was given a lecture by the maintenance guy on something relating to the guest above...why, I don't know.
