Review 1：Not a great location for an extended holiday because not near the beach but that is not what we were after.
Review 2：Good value for a one night hold over for a flight. Was worried about a young adult pool party going on when we arrived for bed but they were curtious and ended by 9 pm.

Review 11：Location is good although not very near downtown. Taxi to downtown is $5 and to Palm Beach is $10.
Review 12：Excellent service. The owners are very friendly and always available for you. They offer taxi service to any place except airport (government policy). Rooms are clean and have all the basics you need.
Review 13：The only issue was the location, which although is in oranjestaad, is not well known to bus drivers and only a few taxis. Google map the place in advance because the address they give is not super intuitive.
Review 14：This was a last minute find for me and my friend for just one night and what an amazing place! Friendly staff, beautiful rooms, free fast WiFi, laundry, a beautiful pool and hot tub, and a nice big screen TV in every room. And the best part was the value, since it was still very cheap in comparison.

Review 17：We had a great time staying in Solar Villa. The owners Freddy and Yohana, they're very accommodating. The place is in a residential area. A 15 minute walk to downtown area which is alright and even though you walk late at night it's still safe.
Review 18：A bit too far to the waterfront to walk but straightforward if you had transportation. The staff was very cooperative to drive you anywhere including the beach or the airport for a nominal fee?
Review 19：It was very Quaint and personable. You were respected and every whim was granted. The owner went above and beyond. The staff was extremely helpful to us who were new to the area. It was very quiet and had none of the hassles of bigger hotels. We could easily stayed a fue weeks just to relax after a busy vacation. We felt welcome and important.
Review 20：The owner took us downtown to find a place for dinner and picked us up at an arranged time. They cooked breakfast and we had a very interesting visit with them. Very friendly, interesting and educated couple to talk to.

Review 24：The friendliness and top notch customer service from the owners were above & beyond any treatment that we have ever received traveling worldwide. Pool was warm, inviting, & sparkling clean. Bed was more comfortable than our bed at home! Delicious & safe drinking water from the tap, and patio even has a grilling area if you feel adventurous enough to walk one block to the market to buy local authentic food to prepare. The island is very safe, so walking at day/night is not a concern. The owner took us to/from the airport for $20 (USD) as well as gave us a ride to Palm Beach for $10. They offered us a ride into town at Oranjestad (best place in Aruba for shopping) for only $5, but instead we spent most of our time on Palm Beach gambling and hanging out by the water. Owner also has a friend that runs a car rental service at a good price if you feel like seeing the rest of the island (we recommend a Jeep if you visit the national forest). Free Wi-Fi was wonderful, and the huge tv in the room was brand new as they have only been open 1 year. You can't beat the price and superb customer service anywhere else in Aruba. If you want a romantic getaway, Solar Villa is your spot. Our Valentine's Day was well spent here! And at the BEST price on the island.
Review 25：The wifi didn't really work in our room and the water was never hot. However, since it was always hot outside it wasn't much of a problem.
Review 26：The villa host, Freddie, was very sincere and helpful. We went during a very busy time so couldn't get a rental car and Freddie dropped us off. He also ended up getting us a rental car for one day.
Review 27：Staff was not there when we arrived had to wait about 10 min. When we got home I received a no show email, hotel had said we didn't showed up and we were being charged a cancelation fee. Problem was solved 2 days later when we had to send email with a photo of the receipt.

Review 70：I would have been lovely to have a coffee maker and coffee in the room, it is not next to a restaurant and we were waiting to board a ship, would have enjoyed having coffee before we left. Also would have liked to have a hair dryer in the room, I don't travel with one, and like to have access.
Review 71：The pool and courtyard were wonderful, private, very relaxing. The room was small, but the bed very comfortable, and quiet. Freddy, the owner was extremely pleasant, welcoming, and friendly. He offered to drive us to one of his favourite restaurants and he picked us up after we enjoyed our dinner. Freddy is trying to utilize solar power in his place, I commend him for it, but it didn't provide a lot of hot water for a shower. We would absolutely come back.

Review 73：Friendly, attentive owner. Walking distance to downtown harbor, museum, restaurants, "supermarkets," and bus terminal (a 15-min bus ride to best beaches on island). Mini fridge was an unexpected plus.
Review 74：Freddy, the owner of Solar Villa was excellent. He gave us a ride to the rental car company, a cell phone to use during or stay, and even a ride to the airport. The staff did not speak much english, but was very helpful and pleasant. The cleaning lady washed and folded our laundry twice during our stay. Our small apartment had two gas burners, a refrigerator, and cooking utensils. There was water and Coke in the refrigerator when we arrived. There were air conditioners in both rooms. There is a small pool, two hammocks, tables, beach chairs, a grill, and some exercise equipment in the common area. We had wireless internet, but connection was not the best at times (it was good in our living room, but in the bedroom). Freddy takes a huge part in making Aruba more sustainable. The Solar Villa gets much of its power from solar panels. There is a small grocery/convenience store around the block and the main strip in Oranjestad (including the bus route) is about a fifteen minute walk from the villa. I would recommend renting a car for at least part of your trip.
Review 75：Renting the scooter for $25/a day was brilliant once I figured out turning. Well, and how to find the place again. Food is nearby and a ride to my destination the next day was greatly appreciated.
