Review 2:Internet speed left to be desired.
Review 3:The tips from the owner on what to do and where to eat were very helpful. We loved the decor and interior design. Very tasteful.
Review 4:Shower very small Room more Spartan than appeared on photo online
Review 5:Great staff Very clean Excellent breakfast Well located Comfortable Good value
Review 6:We did not dislike the location, which is some 10 minutes walking from the historical centre of town, but some guest may prefer a location in town.
Review 7:Very friendly, helpful staff. We had a delicious dinner in the restaurant and a very generous breakfast with much choice.
Review 8:Loved the wine in this area. The hotel was very handy to the Montalcino and the restaurant at the hotel provided very nice evening meals. Christina and Victoria we're very accommodating to our needs.
Review 9:icy cold swimming pool, small bedrooms and bathrooms, air conditioning switched off.
Review 10:Top class restaurant, exquisite quality linen, relaxing terraces, well designed decor
Review 11:We loved our stay here and actually extended it by two days. The staff are amazing... so friendly, helpful and thoughtful! Breakfast is amazing. Lots of patios and terraces to relax on.The restaurant onsite is top notch, we ate there three out of five nights, and honestly wished we ate there every night.
Review 12:Rather tiny shower cabin even for normal sized people. Road along the was somewhat busy in day time
Review 13:Excellent breakfast, recommendable place to have dinner, very nice and dedicated staff, Well run and Well kept by two lovely sisters who did their outmost to make you feel comfortable.
Review 14:Friendly and welcoming staff who gave us a welcome glass of wine on arrival. Attentive and helpful. Good restaurant menu and wine list. Excllent breakfast. Adequate parking. Wi-Fi good
Review 15:Sound insulation was not so good and was an issue with next door noisy neighbours on a few occasions.
Review 16:Excellent breakfast and friendly staff. The restaurant was also very good. Our room (Belvedere) was spacious and had a nice view over the valley.
Review 17:Paper thin walls. Hotel located on a main road. So, when you open the window ir sitting in the swimmung pool, you can hear traffic noise.poor attitude from owners.
Review 18:Wish the bushes weren't so high along the pool area - it would be nice to see the view (small quibble, though - the pool is great!) Also, too bad about the neighborhood dogs that seem to be left out to bark for far too long stretches (no fault of the wonderful folks at Si Montalcino, though!)
Review 19:The owners/managers, staff, pool, breakfast were all terrific. It's a lovely location, and aside from the minor caveats, this place is lovely, well-run, and quite a find.
Review 20:As a paying guest you should have first dibs on the facilities especially the pool - Hotel staff that were done their work shift should not be allowed to use the sun loungers while paying guests have to sit on chairs.
Review 21:Warm and homey feel to the place. Great location - 5 min drive into town. Breakfast was delicious!!
Review 22:Nothing
Review 23:our most pleasant stay in the two weeks trip. Facility is very comfortable. The reception girl recommended a fabulous restaurant where we had the best dinner in the entire trip
Review 24:The wardrobe in the room was more for a single traveler than a couple on holiday. It was small and lacked shelves.
Review 25:The high quality service, the big pool and the fantastic food served in the restaurant.
Review 26:Air conditioning did not work in our room for 3 days during the trip. It took 2 separate requests to get it fixed. With temps in the high 90s during the day and 80's at night....sleeping was uncomfortable for several nights. Once the air conditioning was fixed, it was great.
Review 27:The pool is goregous. You cannot beat the value for the money at this hotel. The hotel itself is very new and modern. Incredibly clean. They do a great job of managing and maintaining a top notch facility overall. I respect that it's not easy to manage a facility like this.
Review 28:Though we could just about have walked into town it was really a bit too far in the heat, which was rather disappointing, but the drive into town and the parking were very easy....it just made any wine tasting in town was impractical for the driver!!
Review 29:Our room with patio was spacious, light and relaxing, and we enjoyed the communal balcony just across the hall, which had lovely views down the valley. Room well equipped and insect screens were great for keeping room clear of mossies. Staff and food were brilliant.
Review 30:Didn't manage to get the rooms with valley view and the rest ones are facing the busy road. No sun umbrella for the chairs on the terrace near the pool.
Review 31:Location is just off the town, good restaurant where you can finally drink and not drive in Italy ;), rooms are very clean and comfortable with nice bathroom supplies. Beautiful boutique hotel. Public balcony with great view. Oh and very good breakfast.
Review 32:Would have liked an English TV channel
Review 33:Facilities excellent. Staff extrememely helpful. Great breakfast. Pool was beautiful but just a little too chilly. A picture postcard view
Review 34:Nothing to report.
Review 35:A lovely family run hotel. One feels really taken care of as soon as you arrive for check in. Dinner at hotel was lovely. As we left very early in the morning for airport,we were given a packed breakfast.
Review 36:Outside of town, so not really walkable to things.
Review 37:Comfortable room. Nice pool area. Enjoyed bar that was open until midnight. Great breakfast that was included in room price.
Review 38:A little difficult to find and a good fifteen minute walk from the centre of the town but the up side of that was that it made it a quiet spot.
Review 39:The hotel is well appointed, the owners charming and helpful. The food in the restaurant was of a good standard. the pool was lovely and the views from the property stunning.
Review 40:A bit hot in the room but the air conditioning was not working so good. Need to open the windows but a bit noisy!
Review 41:Very good location, good view and good restaurant.
Review 42:Awful wifi and phone reception. Shower is a bit small for someone who is not slim. Not walking distance to Montalcino
Review 43:We asked for a quiet room and were given a nice room with a private patio. Good parking, excellent air conditioning, really good breakfast. English TV. Helpful staff. Very pleasant atmosphere.
Review 44:We failed to find fault and were extremely happy with our stay.
Review 45:There is everything to like about Si Montalcino Hotel and Restaurant. Staff delivered professional, positive, friendly and helpful service during our stay of 4 nights. No request seemed to be too difficult and their suggestions for activities within the area were much appreiated. The facilities included a wonderful mix of comefortable and highly appointed public and private spaces resulting in a very relaxing stay. An appreciated luxury was the spacious parking area.
Review 46:Nothing to report here
Review 47:As soon as we walked through the door we immediately felt at home. Nothing was a problem for the wonderful women running this hotel. We decided to change our room to the Mountain View Room upon arrival and it was done without question or hesitation. Instead of been whisked to our rooms straight away we were offered tea coffee or glass of wine and had an opportunity to just sit and relax in the warm lounge area. Rooms were very tidy and spacious enjoying fabulous views over the valley. We booked dinner for the evening in the hotel and could not be more impressed with the service and the food. A wonderful evening with beautiful locally sourced Tuscan food. The wine list was amazing and we really got to sample some fantastic Brunello as well as champagne throughout our stay. Breakfast was fantastic and the relaxing music that constantly plays in the background throughout the hotel created a wonderful ambience everyday. Without doubt the top pick stay of our trip. Christina was the perfect manageress and her co workers Julia and the excellent chef (didn't catch her name) were super as well. What a wonderful experience. Thoroughly recommend. Thankyou for our wonderful stay
Review 48:The bathrooms and finish work on the rooms was the best i've seen in Italy. Everything is in its place. The main areas are very artfully done and make for a tranquil atmosphere.
Review 49:nothing
Review 50:The rooms were lovely, hotel decor was great, nice quiet location and amazing breakfast buffet every morning. One of the best. Staff were superbly helpful and even booked restaurants and trips for us. Just lovely.
Review 51:nothing. we loved this place and will definitely come back the next time we visit tuscany.
Review 52:- a small yet very clean, neat, elegant hotel - rich breakfast buffet: variety of bread, cakes, fruits, juices, ham & cheese, etc - staff are nice, helpful and accommodating - great tuscan view outside - strong wi-fi
Review 53:Dusty on top of wardrobe which I could see
Review 54:What a position especially the view and an amazing breakfast. Friendly and inviting staff who made breakfast available early for us so we could make an early departure.
Review 55:We stayed here on a last minute booking out of Siena after a shop keeper recommended to area to us. Everything about our stay was fantastic. Staff were super friendly and helpful, a welcome drink on arrival was very welcome, we were lucky to receive an upgrade and could not fault the room for space or cleanliness. We had dinner in their restaurant which was one of the best dinners we had during our week through Italy and their breakfast buffet was my no.1. Overall we couldn't fault - only wish we could have stayed another night. Highly recommend.
Review 56:Anyone staying at this hotel, need a car to go to town or any other city in the region, but to park the car there are many parking.
Review 57:Comfortable and new hotel. Private parking. The staff is very helpful and the stay was great
Review 58:We slept with the window open (our choice) and the road down below is pretty busy, so you could hear traffic all night. But if you slept with it closed, I don't think you would notice the noise from the traffic.
Review 59:We loved the Hotel! Friendly staff, beautiful building and good location. We walked into the town of Montalcino and it was about 1 km, but an easy walk. The food at the restaurant in the Hotel has been some of the best we've had in Italy. Dinner was incredible and the morning buffet had everything typical of a local breakfast and was fresh and delicious. We had wine on the first floor terrace & the views were amazing! Would highly recommend this place & would definitely stay there again.
Review 60:From the moment we checked in we felt welcome. The staff is very friendly and always made sure our stay was enjoyable with all of our needs met. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating areas, whether for cocktails, meals or just relaxing. The views are spectacular! We had a wonderful stay and would return.
Review 61:Perfect boutique hotel close to Montalcino city center. The staff was outstanding, with great ideas on local sites and winery's to visit. Restaurant on site was excellent. Just eat and drink what they recommend. Will definitely be back!
Review 62:Walk into village ok but all uphill on the way back, managed to hitch a lift in the wine delivery van!
Review 63:Friendly,efficient staff. Food fantastic. Quiet and clean, very comfy beds. Beautifull village.loads of wine shops
Review 64:Road gets noisy in the morning early... Very quiet during the night
Review 65:Warm and friendly staff do everything in their power to make your stay perfect. Great Tuscan hill view from front rooms Gourmet food including a Great breakfast. Attention to detail includes Diverse and well chosen music playing throughout the property and Fresh flowers
Review 66:Only negative is the small showers in the bathroom.
Review 67:This hotel lies just outside of Montalcino. The service is impeccable - all the staff are super lovely and go out of their way to help. We also had a fantastic dinner here the night we stayed.
Review 68:The staff was unerringly helpful and friendly. The restaurant served thoughtful, typical and delicious food. The location was gorgeous and the grounds beautifully kept. Breakfast was generous and fit the taste for most cultures -- fruit, meat, cereal, home baked bread and pastries.
Review 69:We had a great stay, I would return there, and recommend it without reservation...only bump in the road was a dispute over the quality of a fine wine, which was eventually resolved to our satisfaction.
Review 70:Views!! Warmth of welcome (Julia ROCKS!), professionalism and sincere care. Breakfast was excellent Evening cocktails on the upper terrace, sunsets to die for Rooms are large enough, and very quiet Restaurant is very good
Review 71:Everything. We spent three days and were delighted with everything. We toured all the Tuscan hill towns deom this base and returned for a fabulous meal each night. The staff were superb.
Review 72:All the staff was doing their best and where very kind!!! The view from above the pool is beautifull. Breakfast wat great! One of the best I had. All the cakes and others, all fresh home made! Rooms are nice and clean. We would certainly come back!!!
Review 73:Very small bathroom with a mini schower.
Review 74:We were offered a welcome drink and then the charming receptiomist showed us the facilities. We were upgraded to a room with a view over the valley, which was breathtaking. The restaurant is really good, so we had dinner there both nights. The place has a friendly athmosphere and it was obvious that the staff enjoyed and took pride in their work.
Review 75:The owner, Cristina, is just wonderful person, taking care of our comfort, recommending wineries, our programm, etc. It was a pleasure for us to stay in that hotel.
Review 76:road noise was slightly annoying when at pool
Review 77:Reastaurant and also Breakfast was amazing Great wifi facility Beautiful pool Lovely and helpful staff Beautifully decorated hotel with great attentin to detail
Review 78:I travel a lot. See many hotels. This is simply one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. It is a 3 star hotel that deserves 5 stars. Every detail is taken care of, the staff, furnishings and food are all perfect
Review 79:We only stayed one night however I wish we could've stayed longer. This hotel has the charm of a b&b from the attentive service from its staff to the increadible food (the eggplant parmegiana is a must). They helped us book wine tastings and greeted us with our choice of capouccino or wine. This is definitely a very relaxing secluded place to find yourself in. The scenery is breathtaking, which one can enjoy from both the rooms and the pool. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a beautiful but not ostentacious stay in the area of montalcino.
Review 80:Absolutely nothing, everything was great !
Review 81:This place is a little corner of paradise ! we had a great time there. Cristina and her team are fantastic, very helpful and kind. The hotel is all renovated with lovely and very clean rooms. The pool side is very nice with a big pool. The food at the restaurant is absolutely amazing and delicious. Location is ideal with a beautiful view on countryside and very close to old center of Montalcino.
Review 82:The room size small and the patio was a bit noisy (may be caused by air-con or machinery from swimming pool, not sure.)
Review 83:The hotel was located near Montelcino town center, and great for winery visit around. The breakfast was good but limited selection.
Review 84:The electricity pylons being so close - but there's not much the owners can so avout them!
Review 85:The couple who own & run the place are friendly & welcoming. If you like cakes there are delicious fresh ones every day for breakfast The restoration of the farm has been done very well
Review 86:We arrived at Si Montalcino late at night as we drove from Sienna after dinner. We had a little difficulty finding the place and gave them a call. The owner came outside on the street to greet us, first time this ever happened to me! She helped us with our luggage and served us a delicious Rosso di Montalcino while we were checking in - a series of small gestures that speak volumes about the hotel's philosophy, which revolves around warmth and great customer service. The next morning as we were waiting for the owner to give us advice as to the wineries to visit in the region, we overheard her arranging for a cooking lesson. We immediately enquired and found out that their in-house chef, Manuel, was going to give a private lesson to a couple and their daughter that evening. We signed up and got a glimpse at how Italian cuisine is made. My fiance and I are very much into cooking but have been forever struggling with our home-made pasta. Manuel fixed that for us and more. We then ate what we prepared (Manuel gave the final touches) with the couple and daughter that took the lesson with us. It was a spectacular evening that didn't end up costing much more than a dinner at the restaurant. Be aware that the hotel is slightly removed from Montalcino and you can't go by foot into the city. That said, the town won't entertain you for much more than a day, unless you really want to do a deep dive. Montalcino is renowned for its Brunellos, and regardless of your hotel location, you'll have to take your car to visit the winerie
Review 87:Coming back to the hotel from being gone all day felt like coming home. The staff were professional yet very warm and personable. The hotel had a very cool vibe.
Review 88:No negative remarks.
Review 89:Extremely Friendly, helpfull staff. Great food. Great location to explore Tuscan towns. clean, nice rooms. It exceeded our expectations.
Review 90:We stayed for 6 nights in late June and had a wonderful time here. Comfortable and clean room. The private outside sitting area for our room was great. The overall hotel facilities are very good. Restaurant was excellent and the breakfasts were very good. The highlight for us had to be the very helpful staff and management.
Review 91:While this is definitely a very good hotel with excellent staff, you may want to consider another place if you are looking to stay in rural Tuscany. The hotel's territory is very small and it is stuck between two automobile roads. Families with kids should realize that there is very little space for kids to play or just walk. While for solo travelers it is a great choice.
Review 92:This is a stylish, nicely renovated hotel situated conviniently on the outskirts of the town of Montalchino. The staff is hearty and very helpful. Special thanks to Cristina and Tiziana! They made our stay very warm. Double rooms on the first floor (one of those we stayed at) are stylish, spacious, well equipped and have a small but very nice outdoor patio. The restaurant serves nice breakfasts and offers decent dinners. Overall, great place to spend a few nights as a base for traveling around the area.
Review 93:Nothing. everything was to our liking.
Review 94:The staff were excellent. Cristina and Tiziana and their staff have worked hard to get this hotel to where it is in the short space of time it's been opened. The food is first class, the pool is very inviting and the views are magnificent
Review 95:Wonderful staff and excellent breakfast
Review 96:Not so warm and friendly athmosphere.
Review 97:Nice fresh breakfast ver italian standard.
Review 98:Close to main road so some traffic noise if you're on the front ... but the view is lovely
Review 99:Comfortable room, helpful staff
Review 100:A little dated
Review 101:Great location and views of the area
Review 102:The staff was great. They made restaurant recommendations and reservations. We also had a private wine tasting at a local winery. Fabulous!
Review 103:Accomodations and restaurant were spectacular!
Review 104:The cleanliness, staff, food, location you can't beat it!!!!
Review 105:The staff was incredible - very much like a part of your family!
Review 106:Excellent breakfast.

Review 111:Excellent restaurant
Review 112:Very friendly staff Big nice room Good Breakfast Nice restaurant with good food We liked everything about this hotel
Review 113:This is a warm and extremely well kept hotel. It is like staying with a family but without the drawbacks of over-familiarity.
Review 114:Nice place. Friendly staff. Room a little outdated. Didn't like bathroom.
Review 115:Friendly staff
Review 116:Absolutely perfect.
Review 117:Wonderful location, good service and pool. Car is neccessary to get here from Cento Citta.
