Review 1：We got a little confused which one we booked. There's a Toyoko Inn about a block from the train station. This one is a couple blocks further behind the castle park. After stopping at the first one, they kindly directed us to the correct one. This one was about 2000¥ cheaper than the one by the train station.
Review 2：This was a convenient place for us to stay for one night while traveling between Taumago and Mount Fuji. There's not much to see or do in Kofu, but we took the local bus to the stunningly beautiful Shosenkyo Gorge. We had a great afternoon hiking and taking the ropeway (cable car) here. The rooms are very small (even by Japanese standards), but clean and well appointed. We'd been having Japanese food for a couple weeks. This time, with a craving for some western food, we walked down to the nearby Pizza Hut and brought pizza back instead of trying anything at the hotel. A Japanese style breakfast is included, but we also skipped this. Instead using the kettle in the room to make instant coffee and eat leftover cold pizza.

Review 4：Very professional and friendly staff with sufficient English skills. Good room layout, instructions in English. Free breakfast (very good!), free dinner curry. Wifi not particularly fast but stable.
