Review 1：Chaotic. Was emailed a few days before the stay to say that the wellness centre was undergoing maintenance so was closed. Not that great for a spa break. But anyhow, when I arrived there was an unhappy guest complaining about something in the lobby, and was left waiting to check in for an absolute age whilst all 3 receptionists buzzed around and ignored me. The room was lovely looking but no soundproofing so could hear the screaming baby down the hall and next door's TV all night. Then when I got back down from the mountains and back in phone reception, I found messages from the hotel left at lunchtime on the day I was due to check in saying that they had overbooked and were putting me in a different hotel. Thankfully I did not have phone reception and managed to check in oblivious to this.

Review 2：Really lovely decor - the room was very chic but at the same time cosy, and the breakfast room was wonderful with great Tom Dixon-type copper round light installations. Stunning views of the valley. Very clean.

Review 3：The room looks big and stylish on the site but was tiny and really needs to be redesigned. Surly staff in the restaurant (breakfast time only). Far from the center.

Review 13：The comfort bedroom was very basic. There's no outdoors terrace during the Winter to bask in the sun, therefore I had to go elsewhere.

Review 14：We stayed here for a week of skiing. As I reserved late there was not a lot of choice and Alexander seemed to have the best reviews. We really loved the hotel. The breakfast was great. The bus stop was outside the hotel to town and slopes. . I couldn't ski, so I used the gym and pool and sauna. It was fantastic and I mostly had it to myself. I would recommend a massage too. They helped me a lot.

Review 23：-We we on the third floor which is not renovated to the same standard as the rest of the building. -Noise traveled from the halls into the rooms - Rules in the wellness centre were not enforced which led to kids running around in the saunas, shouting and splashing everybody in the pool - not very relaxing! - The water stopped working to our room one night!

We did get a free sweet and drink as compensation but would rather have been served! We mis-read the deal on bookings.com (our fault) but the staff were completely unhelpful when we explained.

Better WIFI and SKY TV, would be the only extra things, but I am nit picking, as this hotel has fast wifi when it was working, and really great TV stations especially for Italians and Germans...

Review 60：Brilliant 4 night stay in Jr. Suite 204...Elegante woodsy decor with superb bedding and bathrooms...I loved this property with fantastic professional staff, and a spectacular view looking down on Livigno...I read a few grumbles about the dinner prices and lack of selection for the small ones...Exactly what are you writing about?...They even have PANCAKES!...I really think the Food and Beverage gets a ten, and with the incredible views, it doesn't have to be this great...this coming from someone who lives in hotels for a profession and eats 21 restaurant meals a week... By far one of the nicest hotels in Livigno! I have over 50 visits to this resort, mainly to ski chair 19 and eat lunch at Costaccia, in the upstairs REAL RESTAURANT...
