Review 2：A fairly long way out of Amsterdam, but nearby tram stop & only €5.80 return into Amsterdam. Only £18 per room per night.... V good value
Review 3：It was not the house we had booked it was very dirty dusty the lights didnt work in the bathroom and the tv wasnt working. Its ok as a base if you are traveling alot. But if you were to stay there as we did for a few days it would be a nightmare

Review 7：I arrived at 21:30, having been given a code to retrieve a key from a box outside the apartment. The box was empty. I called the manager, who sent the cleaner round. Some French visitors had somehow got my key and were in my room. (Had they been sent my code?) The cleaner couldn't communicate with them, so gave me an upgrade to a different apartment nearby, but it was 45 minutes of hassle I could have done without. The following evening, I returned to the apartment at around 22:00. My key turned in the lock, but didn't open it. I called the manager, who sent the cleaner, who somehow managed to open the French windows at the back to let me in, but the front door lock was broken and couldn't be opened. That was another 30 minutes of waiting I could have done without.
Review 8：It was cheap and close to the metro/tram stop. The apartment was pleasant, once I got in.
Review 9：2 o'clock is checkin time. But when I was there, I waited about one hour for someone showed up to give me the key. I knew there's no person in resection, but no key and waiting in cold weather was really hard thing. After the manager came, the room was unexpectedly didnt clean yet. He just asked me sit and wait for more half hour. And you could see the cleaning quality is very very poor. The manager only took care the wastes, made the bed, no dusting and no cleaning public area which had no cleaning in toilet, shower room and I still saw full of dishes in the kitchen sink after I had a dinner back. Very speechless experience.
Review 10：The most discomfort was with waste pipe in bathroom, which didn't work properly, that's why bathroom sink was very dirty. In other things rooms not bad, pretty good for couple nights staying. Good location, very close to metro
Review 11：The flat was dirty there was no towels no kettle no toaster noiron.there was food left in te freezer the fridge door was hangingoff.the oven was filthy and no grill pan or oven tray.the stereo didnotwork the tv did not work and none of the lights worked so ;lamps hadbeen put in place.all in all I was very digusted with thisaccomadation.to top it all over the weekend people were ringing mybuzzer for info or help.i helped a fellow traveller acess the keysafe. Iwas confronted by the most vile and agressive man who threatened me withthe police.i have never been treated tis way before and never want to beagain I felt very vunerable and frighetened.which is not the way I wantto feel in any country never mind a foreign one.i would never recommendathis accomadation instead I would urge people to steer clear.tere wereno toiletries no mops no brushes no clean bedding offered.just shabbyand cheap and a waste of 320 of my hard earnt pounds.

Review 14：Clean place. Excellent location. Tram 5 stops everywhere you need to go, supermarkets, shops, coffee shops and central all on tram 5 route. Nice kitchen with utensils and a balcony for all the smokers!!
Review 15：- The heating wasn't working properly - A few problems with the cleaning (they forgot to change the rubish bag and dish towels) - I think the complex should have a broom or something guests can clean the room, since there is no cleaning during the stay
Review 16：- Great Location. Tram and Metro stop is 2 minutes walking - You have a Albert Heijn 10 min away but i recommend JUMBO or LIDL (5 min with Tram or Metro) - Be sure you check your e-mail a few days before arriving. they will send you an e-mail with instructions on how to get the keys
Review 17：Some of the facilities were a bit flakey, and we never got the main room lights or the TV to work. The kitchen was large and well eqipped but with very little in the way of plates, cutlery, cooking utensils, etc. Close to the flight path into Schiphol airport, which might cause a problem to some. if the wind is in the wrong direction.
Review 18：Very spacious, and well situated in a quiet street, with lots of good restaurants in the nearby shopping centre. Metro stop close by - about 20 minutes from Amsterdam centre, and less to the museum area. Helpful emails before arrival and easy access proceedure.
Review 19：Strongly do not recommend these apartments. We had received the instructions via email about where to find the keys. However, when we arrived, we found out that the keys were not at the agreed location. The manager simply forgot to put them. When we tried to call the numbers given on the window, no one answered. We had to disturb other guests, to get into the house. After a while, we discovered that the keys are laying on the table in the storeroom with the door closed and we had to get them using the mop through a hole in the door. That was a real quest! There were no kettle, pots and pans in the kitchen. Food we left in the refrigerator was threw into the trash by the cleaner. Our room was not cleaned for 6 days.. There was no manager during our stay so we could not even complain.

Review 21：Very closed to public transportation, easy to find. Located in a safe area, just 25 minute from the central station. The habitation was new and well equiped. Overall, a good choice that balances quality and price :-)
Review 22：You need to call the owner to find out where you can find the key for the house. Outside there is a lot of garbage, inside it's an old building with some rooms which can be rented. The room was dirty and smelly, floor is broken and dirty, hair everywhere. The bed is old and from a very poor quality. There is nothing more than a bed and a dirty old couch inside. There is poor light in the bathroom, perhaps better because of the quality, so you can't see the insects.

Review 24：There was no staff to give us a key when we arrived, we never met or even saw the owners. We got an email that said to get our key from under some wooden blocks and there were no blocks to be found. We waited hours until we finally could talk to a maid who had our key and let us in. We payed for a room with a shared kitchen but while we stayed there it was out of service. I have emailed the company asking for a refund on a portion of what we payed since we did not receive the entire service garanteed for the price but have yet to receive a reply. I would not recommend this hotel, I was at the end of a 2 month trip through europe and this hotel had by far the worst service of any I stayed in.

Review 26：- The room hadn't been cleaned from the last guests upon our arrival (We had requested an early check-in which was approved by the owner, when we arrived no one was there). - It was not possible to reach the owner at the given number, even after leaving a real nice voice message asking to call back he never responded - Shared kitchen and bathroom, which was not clear at booking !! - Only one roll of toilet paper for 4 rooms (meaning 8 or more guests!). That one was gone quickly, and even when the maid came to clean again she did not bring a new one. - Stove in the kitchen did not work
Review 27：- Nicely located really close to the tram number 5 which takes you right into the heart of Amsterdam within half an hour - Even though it was a shared accomodation and the room was very modest (small bed that looked like it would break any second, desk, wardrobe. No sorts of decoration), it was OK for two students who try to save money everywhere they can. 20€ per night per person was a really good deal we think. - Nice self check-in system: We got an e-mail a couple days before leaving for Amsterdam, telling us a code for a safe in front of the house where the key for the room would be kept in. This worked out perfectly
Review 28：No explanation of the electronic lighting and blinds system, no lighter or matches for the gas stove, WiFi a bit weak. The defective light bulb in the toilet wasn't replaced although we reported this immediately.
Review 29：The flat is very conveniently located, fairly quiet and spacious. Having read some devastating reviews (after booking the flat), we were relieved that we got an e-mail with instructions on how to get the key (which we didn't need because there was someone at the reception), the flat was clean and the beds were ok.

Caution- the apartment will take your money well in advance so you have no leverage. Do not be fooled by the web page, do not rent this apartment

Review 42：It was very difficult to contact the owner. We had another phone number on the reservation confirmation email and no mail adress. So Before going to Amsterdam, we had to ask booking for a contact. We discovered that recent comments were bad, notably saying that there was nobody on site to get the keys. We called many times - no answer. Finally, the day of our arrival a man answered , saying he will put the keys at a special place before our arrival time. No key at all, even if we looked everywhere! nobody answering our phone calls and sms.... We stayed there for 1 hour and had to leave and try to find another place to sleep.... It was a real nightmare and cost a lot ....

Review 44：Had to call to booking.com in UK to tell that we were in front of the door and no one was at the b&b. After 45 minutes we got a call in the English language and received a code to get the key. Not what you expect from a b&b after seeing t.v. program where personal contact is shown. There was a sewer smell everywhere in the building. Wall lamp was hanging down with 50 cm of wire. We had room 1 which was an apartment that could be beautiful. Obvious the supervision from a distance was not positive as there were children's writings on the walls. Electric wire hanging out of the ceiling. No instructions about the lighting system, t.v or c.v. The light switches were dimmers that were not functioning the right way. We thought the we had nog light at all until we managed to handle the switches. Only a card that amongst else said that one could call the office on a Saturday. We called immediately after arrival and got the message that probably the phone was switched off. Compared to our stay in Lelystad which we would give an 8 it we can only give a 3 thanks for the location.

Review 54：1. The staff are so unqualified. it seem they didn't welcome you at all. 2. We came in a group of 4 ppl, before that we asked for the permission whether it was possible or mot tostay 4 ppl in the house becasue from they said only for 3 ppl. The agency from our country has already called to ask about that and the answer was yes. But we had to pay the extra which was fine. 3. Once we arrived at the agency in Amsterdam city, they said our room was cancelled!! Because this room was only for 3 ppl. However they allowed us to stay in tge roomwith another 20 euro payment (they said for extra pilllow and mattress) 4. When we arrived at the house, we all shocked. There was no extra pillow and mattress for us. Plus the bed was broken!?. We had to move the mattress to the floor! 5. There was no kitchenware to cook. But in the advertisement it was said that there were kitcenware. Plus the oven was very dirty inside that we didn't dare using it.

Moreover they said, the we should heat up the room properly instead of bringing a second blanket)
