Review 1：Location is perfect for seeing every thing in Palermo. To previous reviewers who have criticized this hotel, there must be something wrong with you. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Breakfast was more than adequate and catered for all tastes. €70 a night including breakfast is a third of what you would pay for an inferior standard of room in a London Hotel.This is our second stay here and we definately be coming back.

Review 2：The staff is helpful although not very professiional. The breakfast is OK, but one can not even buy a good quality cappucino if does not like the instant versions.

Review 4：I was traveling with two other friends and we stayed for four nights. Our shower drain was so clogged that we could only keep the shower head on for about 60 seconds before taking a minute or two for the water to go down. We complained more than once and nothing was done. The hotel website also claims there is free wi-fi... but the wi-fi only works in the main lobby (which is why the guests all sit around on their phones in the lobby to check the weather, look up maps, and send emails). We booked a room with three beds and were disappointed to find that one of the "beds" was actually a couch. The breakfast was very simple, but we appreciated the convenience. Overall, we were unsatisfied with the entire experience.

Review 17：Location good. We had a large 'superior' room which was fine but following a flooded room from a burst pipe in the middle of the night we had to move to a standard room. This was shabby and we wouldn't have been happy to stay in it but it was our last night. Overall the facilities were not bad for the price.

Review 18：We got a room on the fifth floor, and the flow of water in the shower was extremely weak. We reported the problem, with no results. All in all, taking a shower was far from a pleasant experience. Also, the bar in the lobby was permanently closed, which was really a pity.

Review 19：The location was superb, only three minutes to the Politeama square, from where the airport bus, as well some touristic buses, depart. The staff was friendly and obliging, always ready to help with directions, bus schedules etc.

There was no information in the room about calling the desk or using the internet, which did not work very well. Lobby looks large and lonely, undecorated.

Review 28：The airco in my room didnt work and that affected my whole stay very much, as we had above 30 degrees. Also, in common areas the airco was very poor or turned off. I had to leave my passport at the reception for some hours when I checked in, which made me very uncomfortable.The door of the bathroom was damaged so you had to almost slam it to get it closed. The water pressure in the shower was very low.

I was really considering asking for a mop and wipe it myself. -The floor of the room not cleaned every day.We didn't understand it because beds were always made nicely, and we always went home to a spotlessly clean bathroom otherwise. So it would not have needed a big extra effort.

Review 42：Key card works the electricity for the room so you can't charge anything unless you are in the room. This also shuts off the air-conditioning so the room is hot when you first walk in. Wifi constantly shuts off when your device powers down and you continually have to type in the very detailed ID and Password several times a day! Breakfast had a decent selection but shuts down at 9:45. They lock the door!! An odd time for breakfast to end.

You don't get the noise of the town centre yet only 5-10min walk from everything. 5min walk from Massimo Theatre,around the corner from all shopping. Hotel has a garage and a fab place for cocktails in the evening just to the left of entrance and fab restaurant for bkfst to the right. Great staff, service, location and value. We really enjoyed our stay!

Working only at the reception 2 m from the desk. 8 days hotel service did nothing to remove the error and at the end charged for the stay like all services were provided. Hotel manager not even suggest a discount and ignored request for the price negotiation. Loud street. Party downstairs did not allowed rest in the evening. Last 2 nights I was not able to sleep at all.

We returned at the hotel at night (not too late) and the reception told us that there was not free space for the car. Review 97：Try to avoid this property, mostly because of terrible manager and staff.Staff was the most arrogant you can imagine. They try to act very nice and polite, but if you have a problem with room or facilities, then you are in trouble. The manager (probably the owner) was only interested to hide the problems, not to solve it.Every single day the cleaning staff wanted to clean the room quite early (around 10.30am), even making pressure for you to leave the room. They hesitated if you ask them to do it later, hoping you will tell them to skip your room that day.Wifi was NOT functioning in the room. They have one router on each floor and it can not cover all the rooms. The first 5 days they ignored the problem and did nothing (also did not offer to change rooms because "we do not have another free room adequate to yours and we are not sure where the wifi signal is good").When I complained to Booking.com, I had several loud discussions with them, they even wrote to booking.com that there is no problem at all.They claimed I was the only one complaining, while the lobby was full with people with their laptops trying to connect.Also, they claimed they checked the Wifi in my room and that it was working, but did not want to check in my presence. And I had the problem with all 3 devices we were having.The last day (after 6 days being there) they secretly moved the router 5 meters from my room, but I am sure that other quests at the other side of the floor no longer had signal. Thinking that we do not understand Italian, they talked right in front of us "Just ignore them, anyway they are leaving tomorrow.".No breakfast included - they asked 8 EU for breakfast, which is too much compared to what you can get for that money just few steps from the hotel.Quite hard walk from the Central station (if you arrive by train). If you arrive by plane, get down at Politeama, not at central station.The hotel bar was not working in the middle of the season.

Review 98：It is quite large hotel, has a spacious lobby. Almost all main attractions reachable by walking. Airport bus and bus to Modello available in few 100s of meters away, at Politeama square. The area around teatro Massimo and Politeama is very alive, including at night, many food and bars options around. There is also a quite large market near McDonalds restaurant opposite the Castelnuovo square. Two nice eating options located next to hotel and many more around. The hotel is located in a smaller street, so no noise that can disturb your sleep.

Review 99：Very clean, good size bathroom. Great location and very helpful staff, spoke English well and gave great recomendations for food. There is a room to leave your luggage after check out.

Most of the rooms have alley views. My first room had construction scaffolding outside of the window that even had a bucket on a rope continually passing by. Also, the hotel bar was never open.
