Reviews for Dormy Inn Kofu

Review 1:A little far from central city and area was rather deserted with quite a few 'night clubs'.

Review 2:Hot bath, breakfast and noodles. Excellent restaurants nearby.

Review 3:Kofu is a pretty boring place to stay. There are several restaurants but not many people on the streets (in September).

Review 4:Breakfast was good, also some international food. Size of the room was good.

Review 5:The location is good, near shops etc. The room was a decent size. The breakfast was excellent - both Western and Japanese. The price was reasonable. It is near several bars, too. Staff were very helpful. Would go back in a flash!

Review 6:This hotel was conveniently located and staff were super friendly. Clean place and I loved the Japanese hot spring tub/spa on the 10th floor. Great place!

Review 7:We stayed 2 nights here while visiting our son who lives in the area. The hotel staff was very nice, the rooms although small were clean and breakfast was good.

Review 8:Facilities were 1980s era, although clean and in good working order. The double bed only had a lamp on one side. There were many foreign tourists there from other Asian countries.

Review 9:Wonderful staff (cheerful, fun, welcoming), great rooftop bath, good price considering the nice bath. Breakfast was better on days when fewer guests were staying there.

Review 10:We had a rented car so for us not really and issue, but travellerswithout transport from the train station would need to walk good 10minutes to reach the hotel; language proficency of the staff (almostnone but Japanese)

Review 11:Breakfast, comfortable bed, wi-fi, quiet location in the city centre;laundry room, though located in gender-separated spa; view to Mt. Fujifrom our room, free noodles in the evening; parking next door (paid),kind staff, but almost no way how to communicate with them if you do notspeak Japanese

Review 35:Staff

Review 36:Very enjoyable stay - the onsen was wonderful. While I don't think the hotel gets many non-Japanese guests, they had helpful print-outs in English to help me figure out things like onsen use, breakfast, etc. Not a lot of English was spoken, but the staff certainly did work hard to please!
