Review 1：I had to request room cleaning for the 2nd day of stay through hotel TV system. I nearly missed this as it took me a long time to find this out.

Review 2：The spa in the hotel is nice. The room is also slightly larger in Japanese standard.

Review 3：Tables in the breakfast area are very small, mostly for 1-2 people, hence my family could not sit together. Service could also be better, reception did not tell me where to catch the shuttle bus and I had to search a bit for it. (it's round the back of the hotel). I think that a hotel near the JR station would be more convenient.

Review 4：Many "extras" that made this a good value stay - free ramen for supper, good breakfast, onsen baths, good and easy wifi connection. We also really appreciated the free shuttle service to JR Kagoshima-chuo, as we had heavy luggage. Much easier than getting a taxi or taking the city tram. The rooms are small but ok, and the twin room actually had a reasonable amount of space.

Review 20：The staff were knowledgeable about local transport links and very helpful. The outdoor onsen was nice. Very well located for Tenmangu and the bus stop for the airport shuttle is just outside. You also get to request pillows of different heights and firmness.

Review 26：The rooftop Onsen was a really good and is bigger than the public baths of smaller ryokans. The breakfast spread is memorable with local produce and free coffee and tea to take away. From 9.30pm the free hot soba was not only a warming relief in winter but it was also a tasty treat. Thank you, Dormy Inn.

Review 30：The best breakfast buffet ever with lots of great food (including sashimi, fresh waffles, juices and many yummuy Japanese dishes) Great onsen with outdoor area on the rooftop, one hot inside tub, a cold inside tub, a sauna and exclusive shampoo and cosmetics etc. (Pola, Shiseido Tsubaki). There is also a self-service laundry inside / next to the onsen. Washing is free, drying costs 100 Yen per 20mins or so. Manga reading area. Free (simple) Ramen at night in the restaurant. Via the smart TV you can check how crowded the facilities are (onsen, restaurant,...)

Review 74：The best point of the Dormy Inn is of course its top floor onsen, but the location is also top-notch - 15 min walk from the port and 10 min from the main station. It's on the main shopping street, too. I don't appreciate ramen noodles, especially as an evening meal, but giving them out for free is really a nice touch, and the personnel is kind and helpful as can be expected. The rooms are good, no complaints at all, and the price is fairly reasonable though you can do better in Kagoshima (but not with an onsen!)

Review 75：I enjoyed my stay at Dormy Inn Kagoshima very much. The location is so convenient, only a few minutes walk from a major bus stop, also walking distance to the pier where we need to catch a ferry after we check out the next time. The room is clean and the bed is very comfortable. The best of all, is the breakfast buffet! It has everything! I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in town.

Price is cheap and it located in the centre of the city, so you can get to anywhere easily. The onsen on the 13th floor feels luxurious and was extremely clean. The reception staff were very helpful and answered all my questions in English. And the breakfast buffet had a great assortment of Japanese and Western breakfast foods, including waffles! Wonderful overall experience and a great way to end our trip.
