Review 11：The lakeside location is excellent for bird-watching. Our room was clean and comfortable with quiet A/C directly facing the lake (note that there are some rooms that do not face the lake). The staff went to extra trouble to accommodate all our needs, including late check-out.

Review 13：The staff, especially Kris and Peter were terrific and very helpful. The room was lovely, clean and comfortable. The Continental breakfast was very nice. The pool and surrounds with the lakeview were all great. A nice, quiet, relaxed atmosphere.

Review 14：How dirty the room was it needed a good clean . We have a cleaning bossiness our selfs and we said this room could do with a good clean and we told the manager . And the bath room needs upgrading . not much was said from the manager .

Review 15：as a mature couple visiting wa from europe we were traveling by greyhound buses which was quite a challenge----however , we had really exceptional help from carol at reception who went out of her way to collect us , drive us into town to buy supplies and show us around .she made sure we got the tours we were most interested in and her kindness and consideration really impressed us . the menus , tho limited , were good quality and the complimentary continental breakfast adequate and appreciated . we enjoyed cocktails at the lakeside, for the sunset at the lake edge and fly-over of the fruit bats at dusk . we had a room facing the lake and pool which was perfect----a very pleasant few days rest

Review 16：The older self contained rooms were terrible and certainly not worth the $210 per night. It is difficult to understand why they would take bookings for these when the newer rooms are available .

Review 54：I stayed in a self catering unit which was clean and had all you need for a short stay. The new management are refurbishing their motel rooms. I was fortunate enough to have the manager show me one of the nearly finished rooms and it was lovely & very smart. I will definitely be back in the future. Also it was steak night in the outdoor restaurant, excellent value at $24 plus pool and lake views. I liked the location (out of town) and great views of lake; wish I could share my photos. Nice and quiet too.

Review 64：I asked for a room with a lake view which I was given. It was a motelroom as opposed to a suite which I had booked. The motel room was nicerand a little cheaper, so I expected to pay the cheaper rate for thecheaper room. The woman at the desk refused to do this. Despite thefact I liked the hotel, I would not stay again. She was not friendlyand told me nothing about the hotel, where breakfast was etc. There wasno hotel info in the room, and no milk for a cuppa. It was Friday sothe only choice for dinner was fish or seafood. Not happy but I was tootired to go elsewhere. (Nevertheless the meal was very good, just notwhat I wanted)
