The Naturel Hoteldorf Schönleitn enjoys a scenic location on a high plateau above Lake Faak. The apartments are located in carefully restored farmhouses surrounding an outdoor pool. There is also an indoor pool and the free ski bus stops right outside the property.
All apartments feature a living/dining room with a tiled stove, 1 or 2 bedrooms and a kitchen. Bed linen, dish towels and towels, energy costs and the final cleaning are all included in the rates. Free Wi-Fi is also available.
The Dorfstadl restaurant serves a rich breakfast buffet, lunch and afternoon snacks, and the evening buffet or a menu selection including table wine, draught beer, and natural juices (with a full-board arrangement). Traditional cuisine from the border area of Austria, Slovenia and Italy, with an emphasis on regional products, is served at the à-la-carte Dorfwirt restaurant.
At selected times, the ski bus to the Dreiländereck Ski Area stops right outside the Schönleitn. The idyllic Aichwald Lake can be reached via an easy hiking trail.
Professional care for children of 8 months and up, family and sports programs are available 6 days a week. A free pick-up is available from Faak am See Train Station.

Review 1：Nothing. Just the fact that the restaurant is not open in low season. But not problem about that.

Review 2：The wooden traditional apartments are very nice, full equipped and in a very quiet place. Also the SPA area with the indoor swimming pool is very good.

Review 3：Having to find a bad is not picking but here goes. The restaurant is expensive and has a very small menu. I was expecting more Austrian cuisine but did not have a wide selection. If you are a city dweller and love to have a lot to do this will not tickle your fancy. It is a small cozy town with a mall (small variety of shopping) but not a wide selection of things to do. I just wanted to snuggle with family and watch movies

Review 4：Very clean and comfortable atmosphere. The staff is very friendly and makes sure you are taken care of. We wanted to start a bond fire and a staff member set up the outside area with some sheep skin on the benches and started the fire pit up with more than enough wood. The rooms are very cozy and clean! I love the atmosphere and will be coming back

Review 22：Very nice idea of appartment houses, everything was very clean and comfortable. Facilities and are very suitable for young families, programs was intense and interesting. Specialy appriciate baby sitting playhouse.

Review 23：No any internal information in English - so you and your kids can't participate in hotel activities. Not all of staff speaks English too, it's a bit of problem sometimes. The restaurant is a bit overpriced for such quality - we prefer to eat outside where you either get lower price or better meals. Very poor or no WiFi except reception and restaurant areas. No free access to Faaker see beaches (as some other hotels do), even to another Naturel Hoteldorf located on lake. The "bath house" offered from hotel for free is not a place to swimink you expect in Carinthia and far to walk from hotel. I think that in general that hotel don't offer proper price/quality ratio, especially for families with teenage childs.

Review 24：Very quite, not much people including inhabitans in surrounding area (which is very good for bicycling). Nice mountains view. Fresh air. Pets are allowed - your dog may enjoy it together with you!

Review 25：I was surprised that everything is in german (menus, information boards, etc.). I had the feeling it was more interantional. Also I cannot understand the lack of curtains/blinds, the kids were up early in the morning. Also the personal was not so helpful as regard to know the various accesses to the lake: 3 different people provided me with irrelevant, partial and even wrong information (an information board would be better)

Review 26：the equipment. the overall comfort of the housing. The loungechairs in front of every house are great. the equipment for the kids. Good to know: guests at the lake hotel can access for free the pool of this hotel, while if you stay at this hotel, you cannot park or use the lake hotel facilities and have to pay to private beaches to access the faak lake.

Review 27：The restaurant on site was a bit pricey, but we planned on cooking inour apartment anyway. We wished there was an oven in the kitchen.

Review 28：This hotel was extremely clean with space to spread out and had cozydecor. The kids could safely play outside of the building and play inthe snow. Not all printed material was translated to English- however wedid not expect it to be as we were in Austria. The questions that we hadthe friendly staff was more than willing to answer.

Review 29：We din't got any information on reception except location of our houseand ski school for kids. Receptionist told us to park nearby house andgo by walk, and that this is only way to reach house at 6.00am withbunch of luggage, kids and dog. The way was not cleaned and the woodenstairs were frozen. I fall down with hands full of luggage and hurt myleg. There is much better way from reception straight to house and thereare trolleys for luggage, but no one told us that we can go there. Allinformation about actual happenings were solely on German language.
