Abate Masseria & Resort sells fast on our site. Abate Masseria & Resort offers a unique stay in a traditional cone-shaped Trullo house, in the heart of Puglia. It has a poolside lounge bar and a bike rental service.
Abate Masseria has a peaceful countryside location overlooking Puglia’s fields and hills. The caves of Castellana Grotte are 6 miles away and the coastal resorts of Monopoli and Polignano are less than an hour’s drive.
Guests can relax in the outdoor pool with sun terrace and lounge chairs, or keep active on the on-site tennis court. You can also stroll through the Abate’s landscaped grounds with oak and walnut trees.
Rooms at the Masseria have free internet access, satellite TV and private bathrooms.
Restaurant Il Briale serves local dishes made from the best local ingredients, complimented by an extensive wine list. In the summer months meals are served out on the terrace.

Review 1：Immediate surroundings not attractive, adjacent sports field noisy at times.

Review 7：Large & fantastic swimming pool surrounded by trullies. This is the perfect place to be if you look for tranquility and true relaxation in a Masseria with only very few guests. Try to stay in a family trullie - very authentic. In addition, the world champion in pizza bakery (pizzaoilo) 2014 will spoil you with great pizza creations for dinner - you need to try them. Also the pasta is very good. Many thanks in particular to Angelica for her kind hospitality.

Review 10：Fabulous swimming pool. On a road trip around Italy and this was the top pool! Small number of rooms, quiet, private set in a lovely jasmine and rose garden. Great hospitality especially from Christine. Restaurant nearby which is reasonably priced and very popular with locals.

Review 20：This hotel was first class throughout, quiet location, friendly staff and lovely gardens. We had dinner on the two nights we stayed here in the restaurant where the service and food was also excellent. Would always stay here if we are in the area again.

Review 23：The staff and the owners really try their best to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We have travelled a lot around the world, but at Abate Masseria you really feel ... in paradise ! We have been in Abate Masseria two times over the last years, and it was simply great, each time. Maybe we will not return there in the coming years, as we have a lot of other regions and cities to discover in beautiful Italy. But one thing is sure : one day, we will return!

Review 24：Saturday nights dinner not as good as other 3 days. They had an event so guests were put outside and it rained. Service was slow and haphazard and our food arrived cold and the pizza wasnt cooked in middle. Shame other nights were fantastic.

Review 40：The first night in the restaurant was disappointing the meat of the main course was not edible even after being sent back. Unfortunately this put us off and we chose conservative dishes to play safe or went out.This was a shame as the restaurant is a nice setting.

Review 41：The location and quaintness of the hotel was nice. the pool area was a delight and very peaceful. there was a good ample choice for breakfast. All the rooms which surround the pool are quiet and tranquil and spotlessly clean.

Review 43：The service was wonderful, the rooms were very clean, the surroundings so beautiful smelling of jasmine and roses from the ample gardens. The breakfasts were beyond expectation, particularly the service from Marco. The location is perfect for exploring Puglia. We are looking forward to returning in the spring. We've traveled extensively and rate Masseria Abate as one of our favorite places ever!

Review 46：It's an experience to stay in a Trulli surrounded with olive farm, very quiet and relaxing. The host is so helpful and friendly. We didn't get strong connection for wifi & he provided us with extra cable/ antenna. Breakfast was very good quality. I would definitely recommend who has a car to drive around to stay here. We can even park the car close to our room to make the unloading of our suitcase easier. The cost is very reasonable. We would live to come back!

Review 47：The evening meal we had in the restaurant was OK but no more than that - and perhaps slightly expensive for what it was. There could perhaps be a few more parasols round the pool area.

Review 48：All the staff were really friendly and helpful and spoke really good English. We were made to feel very welcome from the start. Our room wasn't one of the trulli but an old stable - it was spacious, clean,quiet, comfortable - couldn't ask for more. There was even BBC world News if we wanted it. The pool area was very nice. Breakfast was typically Italian. We arrived mid afternoon one day; stayed by the pool most of the next and then went and 'did' Alberobello in the evening. You don't need to allow more time than that to the town but it really is worth seeing. We didn't visit Noci itself other than an ATM the next morning.
