Alp de Veenen Hotel is in a quiet location by the water. The hotel is centrally located within a 15-minute drive of Amsterdam, Schiphol Airport, the World Fashion Centre, the Amsterdam World Trade Centre and the RAI convention center.
There are 25 rooms with private bathrooms with shower, bath and toilet, hairdryer, TV, telephone, minibar and tea facilities and a pleasant south-facing terrace. The hotel is open all year round and the front desk is open until 12 am.
Alp de Veenen Hotel has its own restaurant which serves daily specials and a 3-course dinner that also includes a drink. It is open every day from 6 pm until 10:30 pm. Meals are not included in the room rate.
On Sundays the lunch menu is also served for dinner. The bar is open from the early morning until midnight. Drinks, snacks and lunch are also served on the terrace.

Review 1：Poor shower. Coffee weak. Why is it that I pay 4.15 Euro for a Starbucks coffee, yet hotels like this dole out rubbish. The tariff is not cheap either

Review 2：The staff particularly Roy the chef and Marco and Ronald and Anita were fabulous. So helpful and chatty a credit to the Hotel. Our room was beautiful although rather expensive.

Review 3：Noise levels. Could hear the person in the room talking on the phone quite clearly (until 1AM in the morning). Hotel needs some refurbishment as it is a bit dark and outdated.

Review 7：Nice hotel, well-located close to the highway and the bus station, enough parking at the hotel or on the street (free). Friendly staff. Quiet place for being a small hotel (not like those places where you can hear your neighbors). Flexible with late check-out when availability allows. Room was good size, basic facilities but we stayed only one night. Comfy bed and loved the pillows.

Review 8：It is a triffle noisy as the airport and motorway are nearby and some of the decor could do with updating but these are only small complaints. Will always try and stay here when visiting The Netherlands.

Review 9：Have stayed here before and now with the free wi fi added it is the perfect place to stay for Amstelveen or Amsterdam, near the airport, bus and tram stations. Staff are brilliant and room is cleaned and tidied to a very high standard everyday. free tea, coffee and fruit available 24/7 too!

Review 14：My husband and I stayed in this hotel in the second week of September 2015 We liked staying here.The hotel staffs are very friendly.It has comfy beds and the breakfast was very nice.It is in a quite area and easy to get to Amsterdam City and the airport.

Review 15：A good hotel in Amstelveen on the outskirts of Amsterdam, with a few bars and restaurants just down the road. Very convenient for the motorway and to get a tram into town, so you can park your car and forget about it.

Review 16：The way breakfast was served. I prefer self serving breakfast. I saw a mold in the bathroom. Too much noise after 22.00 hour. I believe this hotel is owned by Turkish people and their english was pretty bad.

Review 24：Room key was attached to an unsafe clip, which came un done and lost my key. I only become aware of this as I returned to the hotel at 1 am in the morning. Unable to gain access, nor a hotel emergency number. Fortunately after retracing my movements of the evening, which took some time and involved other people who were not staying at the hotel, the key was found in the car in which I had been a passenger that evening. So by 2.15 am I was able to gain access. the alternative would have been????? Hotel please ensure the keys tag cannot unclip so easily and provide an emergency tel nr.

Review 26：Beside the anonymous hotel bunkers around the airport and/or the industrial destricts this hotel is really gemütlich. They serve the the breakfast - no fights around the coffee machine :)

Review 49：This hotel is NOT worth the money!! The bed mattress is covered with a plastic cover, this makes noise all night long whenever you move. It doesn't ventilate, after a while you are bathing in your own sweat. Shower is dated and basic. Breakfast is ok but not great, one would expect more choices in food or hot options, even for dutch standard this breakfast was below average. I will never go back here!
