Reviews for Hotel Claila
Review 1:Breakfast staff, a lady, very morose & didn't want to be there. Breakfast was very limited & coffee was cold.
Review 2:Hotel was close to the beach & restaurants. Parking right next door excellent. Great shower & comfy bed.
Review 3:It was right beside a railway track, the employee during the day didn't speak any English though the one working at night did. It was 15 minutes walk from the shops and restaurants.
Review 4:Small room Room window opens very directly to railway Building next to main road. Not too noisy but not a stunning location.
Review 5:Very nice building and interrior Good breakfast in Italian terms
Review 6:Short walk to public transport and the Beach. Elevator in the Hotel.Breakast included with stay. Tasty seafood Restaurant downstairs..separate to Hotel.
Review 7:We liked everything.
Review 8:Lovely large room. Wonderful breakfast. A tremendous hotel all around and was great for accessing the national parks and myriad mediaeval villages. If you want a good, authentic Italian meal go to the Tavola Periodical restaurant nearby.
Review 9:- trains going back and forth just outside the window - high temperature in the building
Review 10:- nice big room - friendly staff - good breakfast - good localisation (close to the beach)
Review 11:The hotel is located in an ideal position for enjoying the seaside and the whole surroundings, as it is just close to the beach yet, right in the centre of the lovely town of Francavilla, from where one can easily reach Pescara and many interesting places. Decor is charming. The place is kept spotless clean and staying there was a real pleasure. Wide choice of pastries for breakfast. Owners and staff are friendly and competent. Really great.
Review 12:Clean and comfortable
Review 13:very close to the beach, staff very friendly and helpful. The hotel was central walking distance.
Review 14:adjacent to loud railway. bad value for money.
Review 15:nice interior and very close to the beach
Review 16:Noise level of trains was acceptable
Review 17:Clean comfortable room Tasty breakfast with much choice Good restaurant at doorstep
Review 18:clean, classic comfort
Review 19:Hotel was comfortable. Breakfast good. But in between main road and rail line.
Review 20:Lovely old building, nice roof terrace, short walk to beach, bars and well priced restaurants
Review 21:The staff was very friendly, caring and helpful. The hotel is well decorated and room was very comfortable. Being right in the center of the town and very close to beach, we could enjoy both immensely. One of the best places we have ever stayed at! We are waiting to return to the place in summer!
Review 22:The shower was small, but that is almost everywhere.
Review 23:The staff was very helpful. The rooms are clean and nice. We had. Great selection for breakfast. You are 2 blocs from the beach, shopping and restaurants.
Review 24:Breakfast was really funny. I can understand everything, but no bread? 4 stars look like a fun there, the room is really small, and nothing is there, basically. Another problem - wifi, that fails every time. and do not believe photos - the road is under one wall, the railway is under another.
Review 25:The breakfast is a bit limited, especially for fans of savory flavors. It was the WIFI device problems (unfortunately used the same channel on the upstairs router 1 and 2, so it bothered the other). This too was a technical issue, but trying to help. Finally router on the second floor had to be turned off, so was the room service, but the signal was weak. The hotel is next to the train, quite noisy at night, it's a bit confusing.
Review 26:Very nice hotel, friendly environment. The staff is very nice and helpful direct. Private parking space, it is very good because of the large crowd in the street.
Review 27:Location was the only downside as it was on a busy road which was a little noisy at times.
Review 28:The hotel has been beautifully renovated with lots of character features. The owners were pleasant and helpful. Lots of parking. Rooms and bathrooms were really good size. For a weekend trip we would stay here again.
Review 29:It is like a luxury boutique hotel situated in an odd spot - but once you find it and get over the fact that is at the train station it is lovely
Review 30:Hotel Claila was a gorgeous small intimate hotel set in the middle of busy roads and train station. Even so the room was quiet with the windows closed. The staff were lovely and very helpful. We would not recommend for a lengthy stay but for a stop over near but outside busy Pescara it was perfect. If you are traveling by train it is totally convenient and if you have a car the parking is ample. Summertime walk to the beach would not be far but alas we were here in October and the beaches were empty and mostly closed . We would stay again if we were passing through.
Review 31:The hotel location is really bad - it is right between a state road and railway. The air conditioner didn't work in both rooms and it was not possible to keep the windows open because of the railway and road's noise. Wi Fi was available only in the hall downstairs.
Review 32:Friendly staff. Good breakfast.
Review 33:Be aware this hotel is between a railway line and main road and situated in a public car park. We where on the first floor and there was a bus stop out side our room.
Review 34:The hotel staff make this hotel and they know it, they are very helpful and informative, Hilary who recieved us on day one went out of her way to help us and advise us. The rooms are small but the onsuite bathroom is spacious and has all the mod cons.
Review 35:A really friendly little hotel close to the beach. Good family room and a really pleasant atmosphere. We were very well looked after by the hotel during our stay.
Review 36:Very limited parking space in hotel itself and it could be difficult to park in the adjoining public car park. The position of the hotel was between a railway and main road so the views were limited.
Review 37:Spacious room with plenty of storage space and nice bathroom, with walk in shower. Staff were very friendly and efficient. Good breakfast.
Review 38:Near railway line trains through the night noisy.
Review 39:The only problem is that the road is too close to the hotel, it is impossible to sleep with open windows..
Review 40:Train close by
Review 41:service and clean
Review 42:Too close from the train,it,s a little bit noise, but great place.
Review 43:Very nice place to stay, good staff and friendly city
Review 44:Simply to find, if you are traveling by car. Parking place.
Review 45:location no info in i go
Review 46:Great location 5minute walk from the beach
