Reviews for Villa La Nina

Review 1:Only the sharp car entry...

Review 2:Very comfortable room in a suite. Great bed! Located in the middle of the nature, surrounded by a garden. Friendly and carrying staff, helping in everything you need!

Review 3:A good size room but an easy chair or sofa would enhance the comfort.

Review 4:If you are looking for good food and comfortable accommodation in tranquil surroundings near Lucca then La Niña is a perfect choice. The dedicated staff are most attentive and make you feel welcome.

Review 5:A little difficulty checking in - thin walls.

Review 6:We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Villa La Niña. We had a little difficulty checking in. There's was no one for checking at the villa - we had to walk down to the restaurant to check in. They were hosting a wedding so they were a little busy. La Niña has more of a B&B feel since the villa is just sleeping rooms. Everything was just as pictured. The walls are quite thin - if you retire early, it could be quite noisy. I wore ear plugs the first night only. The location is somewhat difficult to get to - I don't know how you'd get there without a car, and then you need a GPS. We would recommend this place.

Review 7:the restuarant and food were excellent and the food was explained well by the waiter. this was my third visit and will go again if I have the chance.

Review 8:The matress was too soft for may back. In the morning I wake up with pain to my back.

Review 9:The restaurant was excellent

Review 10:Wonderful location, super food & very friendly staff!

Review 11:General ambience was excellent. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food in restaurant was very good. It helped that they could speak English. Good advice on how to get to and park in Lucca

Review 12:We did not have wife wireless in the room. In front of the hotel with the seats you can sit and drink a wine at the terrass.

Review 13:Hotel villa la Nina was perfect. The friendly familie runs the hotel with the restaurant. The restaurant was very good, typical Italian kitchen. I had my best Italian steak ever. The location of the hotel is on a mountain, near the little place Montecarlo. It is just 15 minutes from Lucca, 45 minutes to the beach and firenze. Ideal for a week trip in typical Italian style. We had a couple of time breakfast in the hotel, it was very good and completed. We had a wonderful time in the hotel and we will come certainly back.

Review 14:On a hot summernight you might want to have airco in the room, but onthe otherhand it is very quiet outside so you can sleep with yourwindows open and at night it usually cools down enough.

Review 15:The spacious room and bathroom with a magnificent view! And ofcourse thewonderful food in the restaurant. The waiters are happy to explain themenu in good English. The location is also good, about 10 km from Lucca, very near Montecarlo (a very small city). To Florence we went by trainfrom Altopascio. Free parking, 13 eur pp by train, approx 1,5 hrs andyou re in the centre of the city. Pisa is an about 45 minutes drive, aswell as the beach.

Review 16:On booking the information about the Villa was stated as being 600m fromMontecarlo, it was nearer 1.5 km.as we intended walking back to thevilla from the town, it was a little too far

Review 17:The hosts were very hospitable, the breakfast was very good and thevilla itself was a beautiful place. If the room had air conditioning itwould have made a world of difference in 35degrees C. Overall we reallyenjoyed our stay.

Review 18:Not a lot but would have been great to have air conditioning in the rooms.

Review 19:Loved our stay at LaNina. The staff were so nice and helpful. Rooms were a good size. I loved sitting outside in the garden reading. The restaurant was delicious and great value, although be aware of the days it opens. I would highly recommend this place for an off the beaten track stay. You will need a car.

Review 20:Of three weeks we spent in Italy, this was our best stay by far. Whilethe place is not a five stars hotel, the rooms are great, the service isabsolutely terrific (and so are the people who provide it). And the foodis superb.Highly recommended for an extended countryside relaxation stay. Amazingly good, in short.

Review 21:The room is large and clean. The staff is friendly. Good weather in the hotel which is located on the hill. We like it
