Review 1：The water piping of the room is faulty and no changing of room is provided. There was no changing of dirty linen. Last room available for booking doesnt equate to substandard.

Review 9：The room service was not that good. House keeping service might need to be improved. I would prefer if my room is cleaned everyday. When we stayed, cleaning wasn't done properly. At one of the days the housekeeper just left a plastic bag with clean towels and toiletry things on the table without cleaning the room.

Review 19：During the trip both my wife and kid got down with diarrhoea(not related to food taken in Lotus Desaru). Had hard time getting medical attention since there was no 24hrs clinic nearby. It could be good if the Resort has some arrangement with local clinic to support medical emergency outside normal working hours.

Review 24：There is so many dislikes starting from no car park lots to contaminated pool water to very one sided kind of food type. You can say it's from only me but I've been to many countries and tons of hotel resorts but this place will not last. Even the pool where you are to wear only swimming attire is not fair some children were still wearing normal shirts in the baby pool and swimming. You want to make a rule than all should follow with no exceptions. Frankly, you will never find me going to this resort again. Also there are too many Indian waiters serving. I'm not racial but it's not good for business when you have too many of 1 type unaccustomed type of race serving guests with very sheltered cultured values. They don't know how to treat tourists the proper way. Cultures reflect a lot of comfort towards the guests, they don't understand the standards of life between different cultures except theirs. For them anything goes but to many others that's not the standard they want. The public pool is not clean, it's really dirty and you can see from the color of the water, my son got sick, vomiting and stomach pains for 2 days. You have people wearing their dirty clothes in the water and how can you swim in this filt. Really silly if you want to swim than wear a swimming costume or not don't swim. How can you wager your home clothes and swim with other people. It's like using the same fork and spoon that another old man used. No proper system if you ask me. I'm sorry but this place is a market not a resort.

Review 25：I suppose to a very small extent the only like factor would be the food. Sad to say other than that nothing really was good.

Should hv some transport to go out buy food. Breakfast menu is less and not nice. Bo half boil egg or omelette . Certain food not nice. Timing is 7.to 1030 am. But 7am not much varitiea yet.

Review 31：The night event at the beach has not been changed for the past one year. The songs, the dances. Even the staff performing the dance are so demotivated. Suggest to have outdoor movie by the beach to replace the dance. The bar corner at the beach is very nice but too bad to have limited choices on food and drinks.

Review 33：Our stay was a last minute decision yet it was a great holiday especially for my 5 yrs old daughter. We liked the water park, beach and swimming pool at one location.the staffs are very friendly. I liked the surprise from the event and entertainment crew for everyone.

Since we disnot use the amenities kn the first day, it wasn't topped up till werequested from one of your housekeeping from Bangladesh. But he is verygood bcos after that he swept and clean and before he leaves he asks ifeverything is on before leaving. Love his attitude and he truly deservesa compliment!

Review 58：Check in was a breeze and buggy to bring us to n fro comes every 5minsor so. I would like to specially commend the towel in charge atwaterproof on 13th Dec in the afternoon. Knowing that we were not giventhe pool card upon check in, he made the effort of checking win frontdesk and ensure we would be given 4. Review 94：The rooms are fairly old with faulty door locks. Main door at M306 could be opened without the security card. One of the Air-conditioning unit in M305 is faulty too. Open grass patch is uneven and not properly maintained. Breakfast area is infested with ants due to the method in cleaning the tables. Lots of mosquitos at the open grass patch area in the evening indicates water ponding near or around the hotel premises and drainage. This is critical as mosquito related diseases are a major consideration when travelers choose their vacation destination.

Review 95：The location is excellent. Have high potential for improvement and redevelopment. The area is kept clean most of the time. Staff are polite and guests are allowed to have early check-in whenever possible. Offers more facilities then most vacation stay in Desaru Malaysia.

Review 103：The mess during breakfast. They should have several sections (even with the same food) because the area is too big and crowded. This place is also not suitable for elderly. Of course they provide buggy cars but it can be a long wait especially when everyone is going out at the same time i.e dinner/breakfast.

Review 104：During check-in, I requested for an extra bed. Given the situation (long weekend, full-house), I was pleased when the extra bed arrived just 5 mins after we entered our apartment. The food we had for dinner that night was okay, the kids had fun dancing on the field. (Though admittedly the staff weren't looking very keen to conduct the dancing session. They actually looked bored.) Everyone enjoyed the water park especially the slides. We liked the big shop too, very convenient. But having said that, please don't expect too much.

Buffet breakfast is good and at acceptable standard. Buffet dinner has too limited choices. Spacious compound in resort is excellent and a nice strolling experience for families. I rent banana boat the staff ride the boat too fast and we all fall into the sea, my daughter 11 years old trauma and dont want to ride the banana boat again, my sister and my dad was injured at their knee due to ride the banana boat.. It was a bad experience i ever had..

Review 110：Put off by the many signs around the hotel that said"... at your own risk", had a terrible experience when our car was blocked by another car due to management allowing illegal parking. My car was parked in a parking lot but apparently the hotel management allows cars to park in the middle which caused cars parked head-in to have problem to reverse out. When security and duty manager was approached for help, they didn't even know who the owner of the car was. Hence, we could not get on with our iterary of watching the fireflies which was really a great disappointment because we had planned to have a one-night stay so that we could watch the fireflies. The duty manager could just say sorry and it is beyond him. Was it really beyond them? They have serious security and safety lapses when vehicles are parked in their premise and they do not even know if it belongs to their guests. Imagine if I had an emergency and I could not drive my car out. The boss of this duty manager had the cheek to tell me that he does not know that such problem could arise for the past 5 years he had worked there and they had practised parking that way for years. The next morning, we were still blocked by the same car but fortunately the parking lot next to us is empty, giving us space to manoeuvre our car out. All I could say is that the hotel has poor planning and communication within the management and absolutely no sincerity in ensuring that the guests enjoy their stay there. My boy also told me that he almost slipped in the pool and the water in the pool is greenish.

Review 123：Bad service. Bad room and stupid room!!! 1. Requested on my booking earlier, one king or queen size bed, but still giving me a seperate bed for me and my wife. Call for changing a room, great they have it but waiting in room for nearly 1 hour to get my room back, and we had been told to walk back to the reception to change the key ourself. 2. The shuttle driver are driving very fast while on the phone. 3. We got the room on the top floor, suppose it should be a sweetdream all night, when it come to morning around 6am onwards, the water pump above our room was having a hard start up or the pump are pumping an empty tank, a loud sound was disturbing us everytime when it was running with problem. Will not come here anymore!!!

Review 129：Even though the room was spacious, the stairs were quite steep; we took 1bedroom suite and didn't know it's double storey. The stairs were hazardous for our toddler. The room doesn't have wifi, we had to purchase rm10 for 24hrs wifi. Free breakfast included when we booked our hotel. The Buffet breakfast was disgusting! We only ate toast, roti Canai n fruits. Sadly, the amount of oil they used in their dishes was alot; free flow of oil! We were unable to go outside, the town area was about 30mins drive. Unless you have own transport, otherwise a taxi call will cost a lot! We wanted to see the fireflies & fruit farm but we were disappointed that the hotel concierge can't arrange as they need 6pax to go. The staff told us we can proceed to go these places but we need to call cab and make our own arrangement!! We should have arrange with Desaru Fruit Farm if we knew about this!! They had waterpark but the water seemed "chalky" so don't expect water park like USS. The water park is average pool with water slide, lazy river n the big coconut. My toddler didn't enjoyed the water park. The swimming pool was average too but water is clear with chlorine. So my toddler was familiar to enter the pool. Overall, we cannot expect so much for the price we paid!!

Review 130：We went lotus desaru beach resort for our wedding anniversary. The room was spacious. We loves the clean beach. The seafood at Rhu restaurant was nice and affordable. They have very entertaining live band n at night, they have activities for families to be involve.
