Review 1：Noise from fridge and indoor swimming pool pump, as well as very high humidity caused by indoor pool won't suit everybody.
Review 2：Owner simply brilliant. Location very good. Excellent mattress and pillows. Quirky and different.
Review 3：We found the facility rustic but it could have been cleaner. Things like towels were old and very worn and hard to discern cleanliness. This facility was sold somewhat on there being an indoor pool which we think raised the humidity and that was a real problem as there was no A/C. The humidity was terribly high for our entire stay. This meant leaving the 2 doors and 1 small window open all the time. There was no screen on the window and screens on both doors were in bad repair which meant dealing with insects all time. Also, do to the humidity, we could not lock up when we were away which gave us concern for security although we had no problems in this respect. Lastly the farm house is located close to a small hog farm which did get pretty odiferous some days. No issue for us as we were both raised on farms. A good A/C would have reduced this problem somewhat as well.
Review 4：The location was pretty good but it was a long bus ride to Valletta or other places on the island. We liked the location to which was a good walk or a bus ride to the village of Marsalokk. The walk home was a stiff walk up hill all the way but often better than waiting for the next bus. We liked the closeness to bus stops going both ways. It is very economical to use the bus service and it runs by regularly.
Review 5：The owner Ken, was the most friendly and accommodating person. He collected us from the airport after 23:00 at night and made sure there was cold water and coke waiting for us in the fridge. He gave us his mobile number in case we needed anything and arranged transport back to the airport for us. The accommodation itself with the indoor pool was wonderful a real gem.
Review 6：The heat, especially at night! Because of the pool it warms up really quick and there is no airconditioning. There are two fans but they just blow around the hot air. We had to sleep with the outside door open en then still we only slept for 3 hours!

Review 9：1) Ken, the host, was really the nicest person ever! He offered help and assistance at any time and made my stay just perfect! But everything was wonderful anyway that there was nothing to complain about anyway. And: I just loved my private indoor pool - I jumped into the water at any time day and night - grrrreeeaaaat!!! And just 5 minutes walk to the beach and bus station in front of the house. Perfect stay, highly recommended!!!
Review 10：We rented the studio flat with indoor pool for 4 nights in July. Unbearably hot in the flat so we left a day early and moved to other accommodation. Main problem is that there is no air cond. There is a good fan which is fine for the day, but room is very small and you can't sleep with a fan blowing one metre from your face so terribly hot at night (and very humid in room because of the pool below the bed!) Distance from village is 10-15 min walk (uphill on way back and not pleasant in 35 degrees!) and the flat is quite isolated - there is nothing between the flat and the village except stone walls and a busy main road. Think this flat would be OK if there was air conditioning and and anti-humidifying device of some sort. The bigger flat with outside pool is far preferable I imagine.
Review 11：Ken, the owner, was very helpful. The indoor pool was very unusual and nice. The room was reasonably clean and Ken kindly left food (+ 2 bottles of wine). Bus stop is outside the door with regular service to Valetta. Think this flat is ok, but not in the hottest period of the year.

Review 14：I didn't like the traffic noise - didn't realise apt was only 1 foot from a busy road and although there's not much that can be done about that, the tiny courtyard could be expanded a bit more, so people renting this apt have somewhere with a bit of space to sit. Not where to sit inside the apt.
Review 15：It was a nice layout, but this apt was too close to a busy road. It was a little claustrophobic inside, but the tiny outside courtyard made it feel even more claustrophobic. Ken, the owner was great, he let sit by the pool in the bigger apt(s) which was very comfortable.

Review 18：Location was great. Walked outside and the bus stop was right there. Short walk down the hill to the main town of Marsaxloxx. Owner listens to the guests and is constantly making changes for a great stay at his property. With other guests on the property, didn't even notice for it was still very quiet and relaxing.

Review 20：A beautiful studio apartment in traditional stone. Very compact but everything you could need including the corkscrew. The indoor pool is fantastic and totally private and the owner left candles for the ambience. The owner is extremely helpful and friendly. Am hoping to go back there and would recommend. Easy to reach by public transport too.
