Reviews for Dormy Inn Akita

Review 1:The staff was extremely helpful. This is the hotel I would stay 100% if ever i come back to Akita city. My family had a great time. Breakfast was excellent. Ofuro -bath was clean and peaceful. I LOVED the yuzuyu for winter solstice.

Review 2:nothing

Review 3:absolutely love Dormy Inn and would recommend everyone to stay at all Dormy Inn when travelling in Japan. Loved the rooftop onsen as well. Size is relatively spacious for a biz hotel in Japan.

Review 4:One of the best business hotels I stayed in during my month long trip to all parts of Japan. Do not expect character but everything you need for a great rest after the whole day including small spa, great breakfast, cosy room. It is my 10!

Review 5:The staff was very friendly and - although not everyone was able to speak english - they all tried their best and were very patient when communicating with me.

Review 6:bed was so hard and made my back more painful after long journey. this is only a personal taste, though.

Review 7:location, size and useful arrangement in a room, great outside hot -spring bath

Review 8:The sign for Dormy Inn needs to be larger and more visible.

Review 9:The staff were friendly and helpful even though they spoke very little English. The hotel is located close to the town centre and within walking distance to the train station.

Review 10:They serve free Soba every night for every guests, but it is too bad I can't eat it because it contains chicken and pork.

Review 11:I was surprised with the size of the room. It was not as small as I expected like any other hotel room in Japan. There are plenty space to put your luggage. The room is also very clean. The interior with bright colour makes it more comfortable. The bed, the the shower, toilet, toiletries, are all perfect. Don't missed the hot bath on the top of the floor. It opens from 15.00 until 10.00 am in the next morning. It was my first experience in Onsen and I really love it!

Review 12:You know what you are getting when you stay at a Dormy Inn in Japan. The free ramen was appreciated as we arrived on a wet rainy night. The onsens were great and the double bed easily fitted our two kids. Really recommend this chain of hotels.

Review 28:Everything. All good. Decent breakfast as well with wide choice - mostly Japanese-style but also with enough to appeal to western breakfast tastes. Free onsen - I didn't have to time to use it this time but many people will find it a big bonus.
