Review 1：very low quality breakfast: everything was probably bought from a well known german hard discount nearby, so no fresh bread, butter is not butter but partly vegetable oil, and so on; no room cleaning on sunday

Review 3：The most unbelievable hospitality and service provided by Andrew the manager and his charming father Charlie. Words cannot describe how wonderful this hotel and the owners are, doing everything within their power to make your stay perfect. Review 13：The place is wonderfully located in Marsaxlokk and you can walk to the harbour, the market and any of the restaurants in minutes. The owner of the hotel personally cares about every detail and sees to the comfort of his guests. The rooms are very clean and breakfast is served on a terrace with a gorgeous view of the bay. I do recommend this guesthouse!

Review 15：The only view from the top floor sea view room #44 is from the balcony as the room itself has no windows - just the glassed balcony door to the side and a small bathroom window.

Review 16：Excellent staff and customer service. So friendly and helpful. The large room with private balcony - big enough to actually sit on - with furniture overlooking Marsaxlokk Bay. A nice en-suite 3 pc bathroom. The towels and linens are good quality - the bed is soft but comfortable with 4 pillows, a nice duvet and cover. There is a small flat screen TV, AC/heat, room safe. The lighting is good and the provided wifi works well in the room. In the breakfast room are coffee and tea facility for guest use 24 hours a day, as well as a common balcony with view for all guests. The room was very quiet overnight and we slept well. Breakfast was pretty good. We found free street parking relatively close by.

Review 17：You will get a warm welcome from the owners Charlie and son Andrew to their immaculate guesthouse with comfortable beds, air conditioning, sheets and towels changed daily and a wonderful view of this traditonal fishing village from the top floor terrace where guests take their multi choice continental breakfast. Two minutes walk to the sea front with a vast array of cafes and restaurants, a large Sunday market and frequent daily buses late into the evening to Valetta. We loved staying here and can't wait to go back.

Review 23：It is a little out of the normal tourist area, but the price was reasonable and what you got for that price was excellent and if you have a car it is not like it is far from anywhere as Malta is not exactly a huge place.

Review 46：We loved this family-run guesthouse. Ideally located in a fishing village, close to the Marsaxlokk harbour with its colourful boats and many fish restaurants. Our room was great, spacious and clean with modern furniture. The hosts are lovely, very accommodating, always there to help with whatever is needed. We would not choose any other place to stay in Malta!

Review 47：The family (husband, wife, and son) running Port View Guesthouse was incredibly friendly, happy, and personable. Their sincere interest in taking care of their guests and accommodating every need, request, concern, or question to the best of their ability was very apparent and very much appreciated by their guests. They took the time to get to know their guests and that really adds to the personal touch, as we personally experienced during our stay and witnessed during breakfast hours. Their 24 hr access to their kitchenette and dining balcony with a beautiful view was very nice to have. The rooms and property are very well maintained and clean. This is definitely a B&B that we would return to when we visit and highly recommend.

Review 48：Father and son Arezzopardi were wonderful hosts. They picked us up at the airport and brought us back at the end of the stay. They were warm, friendly and very helpful in all ways. Everything was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was fine, and from the terrace there was a great view of the harbour. The bus to Valetta was just round the corner. Marsaxlokk was a quiet and charming place with some nice restaurants.

Review 65：Note: Parking rules if you have a rental car - it might be difficult to find a parking place late evening (only allowed inside of white lines) - but hint: Leave the car two-three blocks away from the guesthouse, there are plenty of places. This was not an issue for us.

They gave us a lot of information about Marsaxlokk and Malta itself - like places to visit, how to get around the Malta etc. The location of the guesthouse is superb. The room is spacious with efficient AC and it was super clean. The breakfast (good!) was served in the roof terrace having splendid view to Marsaxlokk's harbour area.

Review 67：We stayed for three nights at the Port view guest house and can say that it totally exceeded our expectations. The family who run the guest house were lovely people and always keen to please their guests . Rooms were clean, well furnished , modern and comfortable. The highlight has to be the buffet breakfast and beautiful view over the port from the terrace breakfast room where guest are free to sit and make themselves tea and coffee throughout the day. If visiting Marsaxlokk in the future I would definitely stay at Port View again and would recommend to others.

Both Carmel and Andrew were very helpful with regard places to visit in local area that we had enquired about. Tea and coffee was available through out the day and night up stairs where breakfast was served, this room has a great view over the bay. The breakfast selection was very good, meats, cheese, toast etc. and fresh fruit. I will definitely stay again, thank you for the friendly and warm serve that we received.

They went the extra mile, eg. gave us free gps for the car when they saw that we had diffuculty navigating, they gave our son unprompted binoculars to enjoy the view from the terrace of the small fishing boat harbour.

Review 98：my 3 friends and I stayed in a room for 4 people for 2nights and we all delightly satisfied. The room was very clean, and has a bathroom with enough space for shower. View is stunning from terrace and it is located in very peaceful but beautiful area. We are served cold breakfast at common terrace in the morning. You can find everything you want to eat for breakfast. Various type of bread, cereal, orange juice, fresh fruits, jogurt, cheese and ham so on. Perfect! Staffs were very friendly and helpful. Andrew greeted us with warm welcome, explained everything about the hotel, and helped us arrange a tour and kept offering help. We are surprised how come this youngman has such a professional attitude and manner towards guests and what he does.

Review 110：Staff were warm and welcoming. Location is ideal for early-morning flight as it's only 15 minutes drive to airport. It's also a 2-minute walk to the harbor, which is beautiful and full of restaurants. We found the restaurants to be good value with fresh seafood and great selection of both casual meals and more formal. The town area is clean and quiet. The room was good-sized for a couple and teenager. It was sparkling clean and renovated to a good standard. The bathroom was modern. There was a refrigerator in the room and sufficient lighting to read. The rooftop terrace is a wonderful place for a glass of wine in the evenings. We highly recommend Port View!

Andrew and Carmel are wondeful hosts : they gave us information on things to do in Malta, buses, walks in the area, arranged our airport transfer...etc and provided us with topnotch service. Our return flight was late in the evening but we had access to a locked luggage hold and a bathroom/shower all day after checking-out which was really convenient. Breakfast on the rooftop terrace is a perfect way to start the day, room was spacious and clean...Thank you!

Review 112：I liked everything there:) Especially this wonderful view from the terrace. The owners are extremely nice and helpful, they even let us use our room till late afternoon (we had a late flight home). Breakfasts were nice and there is a possibility to use the kitchen ( to make tea, hot chocolate or coffee) whenever you want. We also got a bottle of wine as a "welcome" gift. Highly recommended:)
