Review 2：This is a modern resort hotel and as such the hotel is not particularly characterful. However our room was fine and had a balcony with sea view (we stayed early Sept when the hotel was quiet). Breakfast was good and the staff friendly and helpful.

Most of staff spoke enough English to help my lacking languist skills. Common areas very clean. Room was neat, clean and quaint. Bathroom spotless and smelled of bleach (GOOD THING). Wi-do worked well. Lovely hotel grounds that exuded a calming atmosphere. Breakfast was a large and lovely spread - mostly Italian but had toast and jam, fruit, cereal and a ham and cheese tray for those non-Italians. Espresso was available when asked for. Check-out was easy. Pool seemed nice but we did not use it.

Review 25：Scopello is a great to visit cause there are lots of beaches to choose from and can also be reached by foot and the scenery is one to be remembered!!!The hotel we stayed Baglio the scopello is in a great position and in the centre of town so by night you can go out, which was a plus for us as we did not need to use the car!

Review 26：Paid extra for sea view room and yes, we did get a sea view but it was over rooftops and in the distance. We were expecting a view of the coastline but it is not possible from this hotel. Staff were at most indifferent and on one occasion the pool attendant was very rude. Had to ask for room to be made up after first night. There was no hot water one evening. Having eaten in most of the other hotels we would recommend that if you want a hotel with character this is not the hotel for you.

Review 31：* Multiple steps to swimming pool makes it inaccessible to mobility impaired guests * Initial refusal to refund money for a clearly erroneous double booking - we notified them immediately that a mistake had been made but were told 'tough, there is a no cancellation policy'. They eventually backed down once Booking.com got involved but it left us feeling very nervous about the upcoming holiday and the reception we would receive once there. It also caused a very substantial amount of stress and panic for me and my parents. This was was meant to be a very a special trip made in difficult personal circumstances and, apart from anything else, we simply could not have afforded the double booking. However, once we arrived, staff were lovely and the hotel was great and so I cannot understand the way we were treated at the outset. Left a bit of a bad taste for all of us.

Review 32：* Swimming pool - beautiful views * Excellent breakfast - great range and very ready to cater to gluten-free needs * Location - it was literally a few minutes walk to all restaurants of the lovely Scopello, making it well within range for those with any mobility impairments or those who do not have the energy to go hunting for places to eat. There are some great restaurants in Scopello. * Peaceful - despite the location next to Scopello, it was quiet and peaceful. Scopello as a whole I would not recommend for younger people looking for a lively vacation. However, I am in my late 30s and went with my parents, both in their late 60s. It suited us perfectly. * Very friendly and helpful staff * Lovely views from front of hotel although not so great from side of hotel * There were no real frills to this place but it really ticked all the boxes. Everything was clean, comfortable, fairly modern and worked without any problems

Review 80：The bad noise isolation, it is very well audible what occurs in the next room and a corridor (even usual conversations). The poor choice of vegetables (only tomatoes), greens (absent) and cheese (only 1 type) during a breakfast (It is Sicily! ricotta, mozzarella, basil, arugula, olives, pepper. where?). Early check-out - 10.30.

Review 81：Very good hotel for traveling without car. It is possible to book a transfer from/to airport (for 2 persons - about 60 euro), to go to the beach by foot - 15-20 minute (Fraglioni, Tonnara di Scopello - access 3 euro). Beautiful sea view, friendly staff (all of them speak English), good coffee (only it is necessary to ask) and baking (about 3-5 types, very tasty croissants!). Scopello is a so beautiful village for a lonely and quiet rest

Review 86：The hotel was clean and comfortable. It's location ideal to enjoyScopello at any time of day as it is situated just off the square. Thereare good restaraunts and bars to choose from and everyone is veryfriendly. The beach can be accessed by walking down a rough track andaccess to the beach area cost us 3.5 euros each for the whole day or wasreduced to 3 euros each if we arrived in the afternoon. The scenery isbeautiful with the nature reserve a short drive away.

Review 87：Be aware of NOT leave any food opened or outside the fridge if you are staying at the ground floor. The food attracts insects (such as ants). Not very convenient.

Review 88：Location was great. Breakfast had a lot of varieties. Scopello is a small sharming city, which we stay for in two nights. Recommended duration: 2-4 days. Beautiful rocks and beaches near by, but it is required to have a car because of the destinations. If you are going to Scopello I will definitely recommend this hotel for a couple of days, but not for a whole week because of the limited facilities.

Review 89：Swimming pool is small and shallow. The beach is too far away from thehotel. Probably, it is not the best location for a beach holiday, butmust be really nice in spring/autumn - for long walks in peacefuland picturesque sceneries.
